I had two Nashes, a butterscotch tele, thin sounding, heavy, didnt play good, and a mary kay strat, flat frets, didnt play or sound as good as my amer stan. go figure. I will say i have not played a single nash as good as some fender custom shops like the nocaster relic. and ive owned over 150 guitars.
I just got a Nash T-52 (Tele) & this guitar is WONDERFUL! Great fat tone, lots of fun to play, and it feels great too. I also own a real '65 Fender Strat, and 2 Suhr Strats. All great guitars, but each has its own vibe feel & sound. I also recently played a Nash Strat ( a 63 I think) & I can honestly say it was one of the absolute BEST sounding strats I've ever heard! I've been around the block and know good tone from great tone and so far I am very impressed by Nash!
to be honest i played a relic strat,Ive played real vintage strats, and the new roadworn,if you have the money get a vintage,no comparison,,relics are about 2x as much as the nash on average,,the roadworn are nicer than the nash and comparable with the relics just not many choices,I wasnt impressed with the nash gtrs I played 6 of em 5 of were set up terribly, and 5 of em had sharp fret ends,i dont think theyre "handmade"maybe hand finished,DIY go warmoth lol,you wont be disapointed
neither a nash or CS relic nos etc .. looks like an originakl gtr .. nash miss the headstock join for a start .. they both use the wrong knobs and hardware .. spot them a mile away .. mine are perfect .. if u dont believe me .. take a look
you're an awsome player but if you are going to try and do a side by side comparison, you should play your guitars in the same areas and use the same distortions. Some sounds sound better than other, i particuarly "how" you played your fender. That mellowness was killer
nashes are great looking, but horrible sounding and playing.
it is easy to tell that the fender sounds much better in this video. it has more resonance and is thicker sounding.
the only reason that anyone on here is saying that the nash sounds better, is because they desparately want to tell themselves that a cheaper alternative to a Fender CS axe would sound better.
the ony difference you are hearing is the pickups. Both guitar are made of great woods, and both have nitro finishes. Many say that the fender custom shop pickup are not as good as some others (ex. Fralin) But its all about preference!
I like Hash!

You don't need a Fender logo to have a Strat

Nash crushes that Strat. Don't get me wrong, both are sweet guitars but played side by side like that......no comparison.

To be honest man i think your talking crap.
There's plenty of builder's that make better guitar's than fender and gibson.

true. but nash guitars aren't.

nashes are more expensive dumb shit...
plus they are hand made and set up MUCH better then any fender ever was right out of the factory

Fender is much tastier. Sold my nash after buying a relic fender nocaster

The nash has more balls to it.

Takes a Masterbuilt Strat at 4 times the price to compare with the Nash...even then, Im not sure the Fender is better.....maybe equal..

Its all personal taste; I like the clean tone of the Fender better, but when it comes to overdrive I like the tone of the Nash better.
