  • that Renault engine will never out run the 4A-GE

  • Only need 88 mph!!!

  • FANTASTIC!!!! THIS VIDEO IS FANTASTIC!!!

  • FANTASTIC!!!! THIS VIDEO IS FANTASTIC!!!

  • Initial - R (retarded)

  • That was incredibly stupid

  • 0:30 thats cheating!

  • @henritje19 Of course it isn't! To where they're going, they don't need no stinkin' roads!

  • ONE POINT TWENTY-ONE JIGOWATTS!!!!!!!!!! doc, are you telling me that this SUCKER is nuclear? Wow this is heavy!!

  • Best Comment Ever!

  • well the DeLorean in BTTF had its V8 replace bye a Porche 911 V8(OMFG 911)

  • Hey This is not bad, and to responc to CJaguar and StuPadazzo comments, guess what it's a Fuckin Movie, they don't have to bear REAL and The Delorean Flew so it won!

  • And two, you do not own a Delorean if you did you would not dis your own car. An 82 Trans AM had a top speed of 85 mph and zero to 60 in 9 seconds and a quarter mile time of 16.75 seconds at 80.5 mph. A Delorean did zero to 60 in 8.8 seconds.

  • ...and I do own one thank you.

  • Ok smart ass, I got my info via the history channel's 80's tech, then take it up with them. They are either wrong or they are right. A 04 Corolla can blow away an 82 Trans am and it had no power all auto manufactures cared about was the gas mileage not performance back then. I was wrong about the American power output 130 hp 153 ft-lbs of torque. But the European Delorean s had 170hp the DMC Company in Houston Texas still makes Deloreans but with more power around 200hp as an option.

  • The motor you speak of is the Stage two option, which BTW only make 197 HP AND they stopped making them for a while because of a header discoloration issue. BUT they have decided recently to restart them again. But they are NOT stock.

  • GO THE D.M.C =) up to 88mph and the race is already won

  • lol TAKUMI got owned

  • ha delorean wins again

  • Again... DeLorean's can not drift... HUGE rear tires with all the weight on the back, and no horsepower to kick them loose.

  • Yes it can, Delorean's are Rear Wheel Drive (RWD) and that weight is what makes it a perfect drift car. Plus most Toyota's are Front Wheel Drive (FWD), which are not desirable drift cars. The 1984-1987 Toyota AE-86 is RWD. It had 74 HP-112 HP I-4 and a 1981 Delorean DMC-12 had 150 HP Mechanical FI V6. (That's a lot for V6 and a four banger back then.) Plus a Delorean is a better engineered car. It had the same horsepower rating as a 1982 Pontiac Trans Am with 305ci V8.

  • Wow. Look, I'm not trying to start a flame war here but you are clearly mistaken about your facts on DeLoreans AND you laws of physics. DeLorean's do NOT have 150 HP, they have 130. I know, I own one. They are EXTREMELY light in the front end and "push" the nose dangerously when put into a turn of ANY kind hard or fast. And they DO NOT posses the ability to spin the rear wheels at any point. They can NOT spin the rear wheels in a trun, no torque. ...And 1982 TA's had 145 hp.

  • 305 TAs had shitloads more torque than DeLoreans. Dude, horsepower has nothing to do with drifting. It's torque that is needed. Torque is the twisting action of the crank, HP is the measurement of how fast torque is made. Torque is what moves the wheels of a car... NOT horsepower. Drift car have lots of torque. Although simpletons in this world continue to measure a cars strength by HP. DeLoreans have very little torque in the RPM range needed to "drift".

  • Oi your talking about the US spec De Loreans. The Original Car had "200" BHP but it was produced with "170" BHP.

  • ...wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong... have a nice day.

  • Cmon man Check your facts The original car had a 200bhp PRV 2.8L V6 but DeLorean settled for 170bhp for the European Spec version and to make it legal to ship them to the US (DMC12's were made in Northern Ireland) he needed to put some emission control devices that reduced the US spec car's power to 130bhp. MOST (not all) DMC12's were sold in the US. 130bhp might make it drift, remember the early 911's with 130bhp and rear engine rear drive, they were known to have an oversteering characteristic

  • Let's end this. Period. Just call the number below and ask for Steven (owner) or James (Vice Pres) of DeLorean Motor Company (they will actually talk to you). I know them personally. If you comment any more about this whole US vs Europe and 200 HP crap then we will all know you haven't called them. Period. Done. Finito.

  • ...please call DeLorean Motor Company at 815-459-6439 and ask for Steven (the owner of the global DMC Corporation). He'll be glad to tell you all stock DeLorean's were 130 HP, no matter where they were shipped.

  • ur full of it, Rear engined and mid engine cars are horrible drifters, its like running a car on a track with oil all over....cars like mr-2s and anything as such just dont cut it....sorry...possible yes....recommended....no

  • stop trying to restart wars and leave it that.

  • tryn to start a war? hahah im just stating that ur way wrong and DeLoreans arent FR thats the format for the 86, the Delorean is RR because the engine doesnt sit before the suspension, that would be mid-engine....u just dont wanna accept ur wrong...i own 2 86's anywho enjoy ur day

  • realy? you should give me one of them :D!

  • Uh....

Perhaps Doc should try to race aircraft instead...

  • LMBFAO That was a good one!!! XD The AE-86 has nnothing on the Delorean time machine.

  • haha, sweet

  • LOL. That's one way to beat Takumi.

  • Ha, try to beat OUTATIME!

  • cool vid
