does anyone know when did they write this song? cause i suspect its a cover of The killing tree (or perhaps the other way around, depends on the years :P)
I love Chris but we are both married. Life sucks. I saw him in traffic a few years back He's so beautiful . His blue eyes were glowing from 4 cars away...OMG he was right next to me I couldn't even look. So sweet. good hubby n daddy!
would it pain you more to walk on water than to wear a crown of thorns? you wouldnt pay me more to bury you rich than to bury you poor. badass man YES.
man do we need another band to change the music thats being put out today. this is a band that did that. the grunge era changed music and i'm waiting for another "soundgarden" to do that again!
@MrUSAJAY "You just see it a lot with really beautiful people, or famous people, exploiting that symbol as to imply that they're either a deity or persecuted somehow by their public. So it's pretty much a song that is nonreligious but expressing being irritated by seeing that. It's not that I would ever be offended by what someone would do with that symbol."- Chris Cornell about this song.´
Man.....you just dont get good fuckin music like this nowadays!! Bring back the grunge!! If SG were still around, i'd be at the front of every gig rocking my ass off!! Even though i am pregnant. But oh well, i can rock the foetus aswell!! :)
Saw this one at Scarlet Oaks Radio and Tv Broadcasting class from one of my classmates and it stuck in my head and being cool looking. And having not seen it since probably 1991 it seems like i just saw it because the images hung with me. That's the sign of a good video. Thanks for showing it to me first Chris where ever you are.
Soundgarden's first popular video, only available on Headbangers' Ball late at night because of the controversial title!!
I jammed to this song months before Nirvana cracked open the alternative scene in late 1991. (In fact, Alice in Chains' "Man in a Box" was also a Headbangers regular for me before everything went mainstream.)
best guitar riff

@MrUSAJAY You don't need to defend it. Religion is already an exploitation by default it's just some use less harmfull methods.

Chris Cornell had such a voice. I hope they do an album after this summer and that the reunion wasn't just to make some money.
