try to play transition into the second section with a little more rubato, slow it down a bunch, and then gradually bring it up to where you are playing as fast as you can handle.

hmmm nice but it's supposed to be slow then fast if ur doing the 1st guy, and like SUPER fast if ur doing jay chou's version. might be a personal preference, but making it "teasing", slow waltz then fast improvisation would sound better

this song isn't that difficult, i memorized the second part in 10 minutes and could play it at the proper speed after something like 20 minutes. but i am not a piano noob.

There should be a short bridge between the two parts, and don't step on the pedal when you're doing the intro notes for the second part.
