  • the heck. i was looking for skateboarding.

  • Wow! Doing your long in spotlight! That's awesome.

  • This guy is class....well done!

  • I think this routine was perfect for the Olympics. Shame about the broken lace. It cost Nobunari a medal.

  • While I didn't find this routine appropriate for an Olympics competition, it is the sort of routine (along with Florent Amodio's marionette) that I would definitely pay to see in a skating exhibition. The choice of Chaplin as a character is very good as Chaplin was a talented skater in his own right.

  • Beautiful!

  • wow. he makes it look so fun!!

  • i love chaplins music

  • His ancestor whose name is Nobunaga Oda is a famous general in the history of Japan.

  • thought so

  • Very talented. The next winner all right. Good luck Nobunari Oda.

  • Best knees in skating. He gets so low on his stroking, and the landings are butter. This is a great program for him, he's definately an entertaining skater.

  • A wonderful program that suits Nobunari very well!

Mr. Morozov's choreographical works for all the different skaters have been a bit of a hit and miss lately which made me a bit anxious for this upcoming season, but with this one, I think he did quite a nice job, and this is the type of program Nobunari can sell through his body movement very well.

One of the disappointments from Nobu last season was his spin quality seemed to degrade, so I hope he gets his wonderful spins back this season.

  • does anyone know where I can find this music?

  • According to Japanese press, the music is from movies Modern Times and Limelight and was especially arranged for Nobunari by Nikolai Morozov. The slow, moving part seems to be an arrangement of "Eternally" from "Limelight" (v=gfiA6n6lwNE), while the faster, funny part at the end is from "Modern Times" (Je cherche apres Titine v=_UopgPw_BPU) . I'm searching for the versions used in Nobu's LP, but so far I wasn't able to find them. I'll let you know if I do find them. :)

  • 3:33 was desturbing

  • the best Chaplin interpretation since I saw the Berezhnaya & Sikharulidze.

great speed, edges, flow in and out of the jumps, fast and well centered spins, great footwork.

very innovative and fun choreography and the interpretation of the program.

Nobu has all the qualities to be standing on the podium at the 2010 Olympics.

he is simply a Great skater !!!

  • Aw, he's so cute.

I love that program. I'm glad he's doing this kind of program- it'll be a refreshing change from all the really serious music everyone else will probably be using. The jumps were great as well. Hope he keeps it up!

  • A much needed proof that a CoP program can be innovative and fun. I really enjoyed it from start to end.

Also, Nobu is made of adorable. :)

Thank you, Lifeskatedotcom, for sharing the interview and the performance at the show!

  • Such a charming program. He is surely someone to watch for this season, and I see a potential upset for gold right here.

  • awesome

  • He reminds me or Jeffrey Buttle!

  • I'm in love too with the whole programm! The music cuts are perfect!

  • He is so sweet!

    ^^

  • 殿、ハマリプロですな^^

    Thank you for up-loading.
