what i wish for is the day when there is no religion, and people can believe in values and ideals for the fact that they WORK rather than just for the fact that it will get them to heaven, or because god told them so
As Chris Hitchens wrote, "God is NOT good". Think about it. If you had supernatural powers to create a whole new world, would you create THIS? This vortex of violence, hatred, pain and suffering? This thing called life which is its own negation because it - inexorably - leads to death, or non-life?
Why would God create homosexuals and then inflict damnation and shame upon them? What KIND of a God is he? How can he be so sadistic?
The whole thing is utterly, preposterously, insane.
@NYCBG , God is so great his so amazing he warms up and embraces us hold's our hands and doesn't let go even if we do with him. He is the strength when we are weak. His the voice when we are muted and put down. I understand how people can put us down but with him in our side it doesn't matter how much pain we go threw he is the strength and the Shield that cover's us from harm's way. if we are place in harm way their is a reason why we were. We were meant for a bigger purpose.
