  • Girl...m a fan of urs nu...i mean i never heard dis number b4...but u hav taken me full on gal...kudoz

  • Damn girl. Nice job. You got this soldier crying. I miss my finance so much!!! I wish I could go home and see her!

  • nice young woman with a beautiful voice, it s really amazing, what a message

  • Ok I can kind of dig this version. Yet, my heart is holding tightly to the older version, my family agrees. Not ragging or anything but this version is just a bit "not happening." Your mess ups were groovy not worries =]. Which ever way things work out I luv the song regardless eh...So keep it jammin

  • I would have to agree with some of the other people here, you should keep the old one and have a part 2. :) You are amazing. I had some of my friends who graduated from SJ before you came and thought that you have a beautiful voice.

  • I essentially agree with everyone else. The part that I miss most is "back inside my ARMS AGAIN." :(

  • hey darling, the sound is great as usual but....ok this is my thought, although didn't think I actually remembered the other..turns out I did and I miss the high notes, really touched my heart...this one was good but ..and this is just a suggestion, why don't you keep the old and add new words (sort of like part 2 when he comes back or something) to this new tune, that way you can have your cake and eat it too (or 2) got it? Ok, never mind probably a dumb idea, but miss the old, I'm a loyalist..

  • Really, really dig this tune, fav'd it, actually found the older version in the related videos section on the crazgrl04 channel, the "ms. scarlet biberstein" vid,I prefer this version witt the slightly faster tempo and the chorus melody flows better but I think in a studio version it could be an amazing harmony with both, and just something to try is maybe soften the bridge with softer vocals and either single chords strums or arpeggios and then really belt the last chorus, please post the lyrics:)

  • I like the old one better. What he said, as in the old version's "high" notes would give goosebumps, the new one is more "flat."

On the other hand, my English teacher used to have musical Fridays and sing for us in class, some of my best memories from highschool, glad your doing that too.

  • From what I remember of the original, the chorus had higher peaks...I'm pretty sure I can hear it in my head. To me, this version's chorus flows a little better, melodically, but I gotta say I still miss the sweet higher notes of the original. My suggestion is do it the "new" way until the last chorus or two when you really break it down, and for those, go with the original. The original is more dramtic to me. The bridge, as you said, could use some tweaking. Overall, I love it.
