  • I bet if someone ''sampled'' anything ''creative'' Timbaland ''created'' he would sue his ass.

    '' ..''

  • i just wish wish they would show some kind of respect to the original artist ..even if its just to know where people get their beats ..which is something i think a lot of people are curious to know

  • this beat was wack anyway :)

  • Keep showing them how to sample! TIMBO THE KING!!!

  • These people who wrote this music ..should Sue that man for real...

  • peoples uses other song as sample to create new musics, somebody call the the press.

  • Now they do, dont worry, Copyright is now everywhere. This was happening actually to mostly black artists back then when there wasnt Copyright in the US yet (it happened in the 80's not earlier!) White people would steal their music and make the money and fame with it. But then all changed. Do never think you can get away with Copyright Infringement and it is wrong, and factually against the law, to state any such a thing like it is ok, its illegal.

  • i hate that fat faggot.. he steals everything and swears hes the best....im gonna get famous one day and have him killed

  • can anybody shoot timbaland

  • The song that he took sounds something of Greek orgin.

  • Shame on Timbaland!!!!!

    I am so disappointed!!

  • They don't sound the same to me...but I dno't like timbaland anyway :]

  • what a fuckin rip-off

  • timbaland just rips people off.

sampling is alright and an art, BUT sampling without clearance is bullshit.

the original artist neither gets any credit, nor any money

  • they dun need any, they don't have a copyright in the US :) now go suck a dick

  • @denizdiii I agree. I bet if the tables were turned and timbaland's original stuff (if he has any) was getting sampled and they didnt credit him or not pay him for it, I think he would be pissed. Thats just my opinion. Give credit when credit is due.

  • And alot producers dont how to play instruments...stop listening to hip/pop/rnb cause alot of it is sampled!!!!!!

  • sampling is allowed!!!

but take the whole instrumental is stealing!!!

    timbaland is just sampling!!!!

  • learn the facts he jacks full melodies of most songs

  • @IlmatarDao its called samples dum ass all hip hop pros do it j dilla mf doom kanye west madlib its part of hip hop

  • And so what? look at the bloody album sleeves they mention all the sampled materials...this is hip hop ...that's how it was created...eat urself

  • That guitar solo was amazing! Too bad Timbaland wasn't original and had to rip a guitar melody from an artist in Greece.

  • What I meant is...Timbo CAN play an instrument. The Sampler.

  • Listen, mate. Some things, you need to know: First one: Sampling. That's not a problem, is it? Second one (much more important): Sampling the original's much better than interpolating it with real instruments. THIS would be fuckin' fake, man. Third one: Timbo can make use of a sampler. I regard this as an instrument. If you could do this either, why don't you?

  • why do you think i don't ?

  • @lutownica1 LOL... great answer!

  • First, Sampling or not sampling, not crediting is violating COPYRIGHT and is technically stealing. Second: Sampling REQUIRES the piece to be remixed and modified, otherwise it's just a copycat. Third: Sampler an instrument? You wish. The sampler is a poor mechanical, cheap excuse of an instrument, so those who don't have the talent or the will to play a real instrument or sing, can think that they have talent.

Pushing a button and getting the machine to create a soulless sound is not talent.

  • I don't care your cultural rainbow shit, Abdel Halim, Warda, Mayada El Hennawy, Muttis Akarsu, Ahita Al Menhali and Janne Sunny, amongst many others, are not getting anything out from this.

Credits for these songs refer to Timbaland as the sole producer, so the ORIGINAL ARTISTS are not gaining any fame or profit.

You can hide it beneath a fake acceptance layer, but as a Mexican/Icelandic musician I tell you, I don't care your racism rainbow crap, copyright is copyright.

  • @leavingbristol Point being: Timbo sampled this without permission. As in stealing. Sampling is an art; selling music that isn't yours isn't.

  • Feel free to discuss. Or no.
