Also, remember that this takes place between the Nibelheim incident and the beginning of VII. The war in Wutai was mentioned as happening when they were still in elementary.

Corel was destroyed 4 years prior. That's why I figured Corel. So either it's Corel, or the war in Wutai went on longer than described.

It's actually Banora. That is the village/town where Zacks' really good friend lived in, Angeal [The name Zack mutters at the end]. Some stuff happened and they had to bomb the place to keep rumors from spreading about 1st class SOLDIERS Genesis and Angeal. The war in Wutai ended around when Cloud was 14-15 years old.

Ack, sorry! What's the Nibelheim incident? I haven't played FF7, only Dirge and Crisis. I do know that Zack dies when Cloud it 21, meaning that FF7 starts with Cloud being 21-22.

@Satski actually zack died at 18. cloud 16. and ff7 takes place 7 years after crisis core. so cloud would be 23ish in ff7.
