Dawkins is such a simpleton. He is quite a good speaker but quite a dolt when it comes to science. He uses Stephen Kawking like a poster child to win the hearts of the easily-maniputed masses. Sort of like an evil organ-grinder with his little monkey in a suit. This is so evil and so sad.
someone would have to announce to the world that everything concerning evolution anyone was taught in college was wrong. Also it would raise questions concerning the accuracy of carbon dating and other dating methods used in modern science, which would lead to more problems for the leaders and rich men of the world. I used to believe just like many of you in evolution, and I would just as readily defended it. But looking back, I question now if I only defended out of fear of change.
@FailToTheEpicDegree OK, but what about all the evidence? I'm not jumping to any conclusions. I keep an open mind. There have been experiments done that prove evolution itself is real, but as far as life as we know it coming about by means of evolution is certainly up for debate. No doubt. Believing in intelligent-design seems more based on faith rather than solid evidence. I used to believe in a deity, but I am very skeptical of it now.
in modern science, but the theory of evolution is not one of them, and has probably hindered others from surfacing. I personally know and believe that the men running this world ate atheists. And even if they weren't, the world still revolves around money, if they acknowledged the evidence disproving evolution it would cost the world a fortune! People would lose jobs, the educational programs would have to be changed, and many popular (and rich) scientists would be discredited. Not to mention
Wow I know I shouldn't be astonished at how many simple minded people are in this world, but reading through some of these comments I am. Some of you just jump right in to defend evolution, when you yourselves know nothing more then what your taught by others, others who you believe and trust just because they are given special titles for learning the same thing they're teaching you. You shouldn't just trust in a whole of something just because most of it is good. We have made many advancements
@MrFungus420 Evolution can easily be proven wrong with strong scientific evidence. Getting a degree in something doesn't make you an expert, in fact it merely makes you a follower of whatever your professor taught you. You should learn to think for yourself instead of believing in whatever your told. If you don't want to think for yourself then by all means, believe what your taught by those who claim to be experts without giving it a second thought.
Wow...somebody who majored in business and education has the expertise to overturn over 150 years of evidence, tests, experiments and successful predictions made by thousands of people who have actually devoted their lives to studying and understanding biology.
Boy...aren't all of those scientists going to feel ridiculous when the find out that all they needed to do was major in business and education to be able to win the Nobel Prize for falsifying evolution.
@twitchcoe there is indeed more to the original video, the ACTUAL explanation (that the person who posted this video conveniently left out) watch?v=Hi4OdrITkqY
t is important to understand that there is a BIG, BIG difference between religious belief systems and science. Science is a tool used to solve problems. Religious belief systems are stories you believe in. You don't believe in your hammer, you use it to solve problems. Likewise, you don't believe in evolutionary theory, rather; you use it to solve problems. What you DON'T do is "believe" or confuse science for "truth".
@callofduty497 Yes because nature also will even if i eliminate my genetic enemy only replace it with something else. Balance is not about everything being good or bad it's something in between.
Survival of the fittest only shows that nature has a moving and adapting system that changes all the time we humans are a prime example for that since we are now so many. Important genetics also exists within those that would otherwise die out, for us nature is now changing trying to find balance
@callofduty497 Isn't value something we create of our own, isn't value something that is about perspective i would say that the worth of me defending against Christian torture i do because i gain something from it everything i do i do to gain something even waking up. The moral equality and the human value is something i gain from, i gain balance, We gain balance. The answer would be that torture breaks the balance and that is wrong God or not
@callofduty497 Isn't the wrong still that one is causing a person pain for one selfs gain? That one is doing something that many thinks is horrible and what our conscience tells us is wrong. isn't the wrong that you claim the right to decide for another person? i could answer with a question to that are we Equal? we all know that some people are stronger and some people a smarter or faster Some contribute more than others. Some are kinder than many but still they do not make the same difference
@callofduty497 well i could start by saying that im more of an agnostic i don't deny the possibility of a higher being but i don't really buy the answers religions have either. And yes this site tends to be quite aggressive on both sides. now then i will try to answer but i have to apologize i am only 18 and do lack some of the knowledge in the area
okay im sick an tired of seeing this everywhere THE EVOLUTION THEORY HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH BIG BANG OR THE BEGINNING OF LIFE!!!
the evolution theory tries to explain how things after life started, evolved and improved and so far no one has really been able to disprove it but it is still seen as only a theory
@callofduty497 yeah it killed and slaughtered any other that tried to speak against it oh and don't forget powerful people that had political interest worked hard to use it to control their countries as effective as possible of course there are many other things like that but yeah. Did you for example know that Christianity developed and had breakthroughs in the art of torture? i don't hate them the have done good to but their credibility is a bit tainted don't you think?
@callofduty497 Even it it was not offensive and childish that wouldn't make it more believable. Stop it with this discussion. I might consider convincing you that "Alice in Wonderland" is a true story. Just because i may believe it is true this doesn't mean you would believe me. We KNOW all life on this planet evolved. This destroys the fundamental core of Christianity. End of discussion... lets move on as a race shall we?
@callofduty497 Christianity is based on lies and fear. I find the threat of eternal Hell quite offensive. Love an invisib;e deity of burn in Hell forever. What a bunch of transparent rubbish. It's fiction man, move on.
Hatered and bitterness is all creationists have left in their futile argument against the facts of life. Thank fuck the bible was bullshit. I'd wish I was never born if it were true.
I believe the creator of this video was ill-informed but that does not necessarily make them an idiot. Just to clear some things up, the bombardier beetle doesn't actually have an inhibitor or anti-inhibitor, as they are not needed. This is because when mixed the two chemicals do not actually explode. The reaction that takes place actually takes happens because the chemicals are released into a chamber lined with certain catalysts, which then break down the two chemicals creating the reaction.
@GravDuck Now that that's out of the way, the main point that the creator of this video is making is that the bombardier beetle is irreducibly complex, but that is still misinformed. See, evolution isn't necessarily the process of adding parts, as it is also the process of removing parts, and indeed changing the purpose of parts.
If the chamber in which the reaction takes place was weaker, then this could cause the beetle to explode, no? But what's to say it didn't already have that chamber...
This is just stupid. OF COURSE this isnt a scientific experiment, this is a demonstration for kids. If you want real science on the beetle, i am sure there is something out there. But even if not, the sole fact that evolution cant expalin everything YET is in no way a way dispoove evolution.
This in no way exposes dawkin it exposes how desperatly the oponents of evolution try to smear evolution promoters, because they cant do anything about their arguments they resort to ridiculous attacks
I know within the first 5 seconds of watching this video that it's bullshit. How, you ask? Because proof is only possible within the field of mathematics.
@GreatSageCorban It's quote mining. It's a common tactic of the un informed. Also to quote Einstein "Common sense is the collection of prejudices acquired by age eighteen".
The idiot who did this video talks about Dawkins not being a chemist but he should work on his biology. Research the beetle.
If natural selection did not exist, why would we worry about insects growing immune to our pesticides every generation, why would we have selective breeding. Sure selective breeding isn't "natural", but you're taking all the genes that you love, and reproducing it. Because theres benefits. Like, fatter cows and tomatoes.
If you're saying it doesn't exist, you're saying the techniques that farmers are using, don't exist.
I have one easy question. Why do the defenders of ID lie whenever they can ? If they would really belief in their own theory, they would be confident to have proof on their side, and wouldnt resort to lies. They would try to stay aas honest as possible, to gain trust from others, Instead they constantly lie, mislead etc. Why? Becasue they very well know that ID is bullshit. They know they dont have truth on their side, so lying is their only option to sell their ideas.
even if the systems could have gotten weaker or stronger, that's just like us today, people with weak bones for example. that doesn't prove we are evolving.
if the beetle evolved, it obviously would have to have less parts and get more as life went on. he never explains how the systems could work if there was a part or two missing.
that's like trying to learn to drive a car with only 10% of the car. you need all the parts together or it doesn't work.
All the chemicals involved in this process are either natural defense chemicals of all arthropods, or the products of normal cellular biology. There's no magic to it; and no magic to the gradual series of evolutionary steps which slowly over time caused the organs involved in it to develop from generic patches of normal beetle parts to specialized to the task of handling the gradually evolving combustion.
So why aren't you anymore? Is it because people saw that you were indoctrinating children by teaching only selective information omitting all evidence like you have shown in this video?
Another issue is that the Bombadier Beetle does NOT use an inhibitor to prevent the reaction between hyrogen peroxide & hydroquinone. These 2 chemicals do not produce an explosive reaction unless a catalyst is added as shown by Richard Dawkins in another video, watch?v=Hi4OdrITkqY.
Typical creationist quote mining, your intellectual dishonesty is appalling. I pity your poor students if this is the quality of teaching that your provide.
Shame for the creationists that there are other species of beetles which have a simpler defence mechanism using the same chemicals. For example Metrius Contractus which produces a repellant foam, this is evidence that shows Irreducible Compleplexity is a load of BS.
@realamarica I rejected it as this whole line of argument was proved to be incorrect. The statements made about the Bomdadier Beetle have been shown to be completely bogus as i) they don't spontaneosly combust, ii) there is not inhibitor, iii) the same chemicals are found & used in other beetles for other purposes.
Rejected because the argument doesn't stack up whereas you seem to be so open-minded that your rational brain has fallen out.
@hexkid Why is that people who live in your mindset group always resort to insults when they end their debate? Do you think it lends validity to your standing? It lowers the debate to a level of childish name-calling.
I will not engage in this type of exchange with you. Should your seriously wish to discuss opposiing views, I will be happy to do so, but not at a kindergarten level. Come back when you are ready to approach the subject in a mature fashion.
@realamarica I provided a detailed argument of exactly why the argument was irrational but you went straight for the ad hom attack accusing me of not being open-minded.
Come back to the argument when you stop clutching your pearls & actually have a reasoned argument, you hypocrite.
@hexkid You have no idea what a hypocrite is. You claim to have grown up in a Christian church, yet you turn your back on your early 'claimed' faith. I think you may be hiding from the truth of who is a hypocrite. You ARE close minded. That is the truth.
Let me ask you this, If you had an adult child who spit on you, yelled, cursed and shook his fist at you and said he didn't need you, would you force him to live under your roof? Would he even be welcome in your house? Be truthful.
@realamarica Yet again you manage to post a logic-free reply. I asked if you had a reasoned argument, it's not obvious that you don't have one.
I believed in christ until my teens when I read the Bible in more detail and found it to be a mess of contradictions. That coupled with the hypocricy and intolerance practised by the so-called followers of Christ caused me to re-evaluate. Reading your comments just illustrates the irrationality & intolerance at the base of your so-called faith.
@hexkid The issues are not about Beetles or such which we could argue until the end of time. The issues are about choices and beliefs and respecting each other's rights of choice.
I believe you have the right to choose to reject God. I also believe I have the right to exercise my faith. God commands me to share the Gospel with anyone and everyone who will listen. It does not command me to save you. That is God's job. I have learned not to look at so-called followers of Christ, but at Christ.
@realamarica Actually the issues her are all about beetles. If you have to propose obvious faleshoods in order to support your view that the bombadier beetle could not be the result of evolution then you are highlighting the lack of intellectual integrity required to be a proponent of creationism.
@hexkid Christ is more than a system, tradition, or belief. He is a Person who knows our needs, feels our pain, and sympathizes with our weakness. He offers to forgive our sins, to intercede for us, and to bring us to His Father. He died for us, and rose from the dead to show that He was all He claimed to be. Conquering death, He showed us that He can save us from our sins and then bring us safely to heaven. he offers Himself as a gift to anyone who will trust Him (John 20:24–31).
@realamarica So have you decided to just ignore all of God's deplorable actions & injustice in the Old Testament? There is no sign or a forgiving & loving God in many of those books & stories, indiscriminately assigning the sins of men to all creatures on the earth (not just innocent babies/children but all of the animals as well). That is the action of an angry psychopath not someone deserving of praise & reverence in my book.
@hexkid ...He commanded the leading men from around the country to come to Jerusalem where he imprisoned them in the Hippodrome and ordered the army to execute them as soon as he was dead. Judea would indeed mourn, he vowed. (Fortunately, the order was not carried out).
"In the meantime, word arrived from Rome that Herod finally had the emperor's permission to execute his rebellious son Antipater and he promptly complied.
Five days later Herod died, but not before decreeing... (contd)
@hexkid I haven't chosen to ignore anything. I am not God and I cannot answer for why God does what He does. I know that Jesus in the New Testament showed us what God is and proved He was telling the truth.
You are free like anyone else to choose what you believe. But beware if you are teaching a lie because we are all held accountable for the harm we do to others. If you are wrong, then you are guilty of harming all those you have turned away from God.
@hexkid You make the claim that there are contradictions in the Bible. I will ask you what contradictions are there that have any significance regarding the Gospels and the reality of Christ and Him raised, and our redemption through Him.
I will make it easy. Should you wish to discuss contradictions, please let us do them one at a time.
Give me one, and I will faithfully research it as should you, and come back with an answer. I will look to God for the answers, as should you.
@realamarica Ok, I'll pick a very simple historical contradiction.
Luke 2 states that Joeseph 7 Mary travelled to Bethelem for the census of Quirinius (aka Cyrenius). The Gospels also state that Herod was the King at the time of Jesus's birth.
Problem is that Herod died in 4BC & Quirinius didn't become governer of the region until 6AD i.e. 10 years later. At the proposed date of Jesus's birth, Quirinius was serving in Crete before fighting in Northern Turkey.
@hexkid There is an answer to this apparent contradiction. It has been debated and debunked. The rebuttel is long, but I will give it to you.
Proponents of the theory that Herod died in 4 B.C. keep repeating over and over again that "Dionysius was wrong", is an assumption based on a false premise, because Herod did not die in 4 B.C. but in the year 1 B.C. The assertion regarding the year 4 B.C. is refutable on many grounds, and Ernest Martin in 1978 carefully showed its virtual impossibility.
@hexkid Josephus mentions that Herod died in the interval between a Lunar eclipse and the following Passover. For centuries this has been thought to be the eclipse of March 13, 4 B.C., and this evidence of astronomy has had a large part in establishing the dogma that Herod died that year.
Recent calculations, however, showed that this eclipse was only partial (40 percent total and fairly hard to detect), and that the events narrated by Josephus to have occurred between this eclipse.. (contd)
@hexkid ...and the Passover that followed are impossible to fit in if one takes the 4 B.C. date. The total eclipses of January 9-10, 1 B.C. and December 29, 1 B.C., however, eliminate these problems.
To determine which lunar eclipse was the correct one, one needs to know that lunar eclipses happen ONLY when there is a full moon and ONLY with a frequency of three times a year. The eclipse of January 10, 1 B.C. is listed as eclipse number 1,860 in Theodor Oppolozer's Cannon of Eclipses..(contd)
@hexkid ...(Dover, New York, 1962). That eclipse, according to John Pratt, was listed as TOTAL for 51 minutes near midnight and centered over 15 degrees east longitude, which is PERFECT for having been viewed in Jerusalem. The eclipse of August 5 was over the Pacific Ocean and not visible in Jerusalem, while the one of December 29 was only partial.
Ernest Martin notes that, "the eclipse of Josephus had to have been that of January 9/10, 1 B.C. All the events mentioned by Josephus .. (contd)
@hexkid ...fit quite comfortably with this eclipse, and ONLY with this eclipse, and ONLY with this eclipse. In fact, everything fits beautifully in other ways. There is a Jewish document called the Megillath Taanith (Scroll of Fasting) which was composed, initially, not long after the destruction of Jerusalem in A.D. 70. This scroll mentions two semi-festival days during which no mourning was permitted. One is Kislev 7. The month of Kislev corresponds in most years with our December. (contd)
@hexkid ...The other commemorative day was Schebat 2. This month answers to our late January or early February. No one knows why these two days of feasting are commemorated yet they must have been days of joy ordained before the destruction of Jerusalem in A.D. 70. What did they honor?"
An early Jewish commentator who probably lived in the seventh century wrote a brief remark to Kislev 7 (December 5th): 'The day of Herod's death.' However, M. Moise Schwab, who studied the information... (contd)
@hexkid ...about the scroll very extensively, felt that it was really the second of the days, Schebat 2 (January 28th) that was the actual day commemorating Herod's death. And interestingly, this latter date fits remarkably well with the January 10th eclipse of Josephus. Herod's death on this very day would have occurred 18 days after the eclipse. All the information in Josephus about Herod's activities between the eclipse and his death fit compatibly with the chronological facts....(contd)
@hexkid Just before Herod died, he said: 'I know that the Jews will celebrate my death by A FESTIVAL.' And Schebat 2 (as well as Kislev 7 for the tearing down of the eagle and Tebeth 9 for the sentencing of the rabbis) fits the historical timetable perfectly. Also, the events that Josephus said happened between Herod's death and the next Passover can be chronologically placed in a reasonable way (The Star that Astonished the World, pp. 101-102, 104). Dr. Craig Chester wrote on this:
@hexkid .."Herod was sick at the time of the execution of the rabbis, and his condition worsened almost immediately. He was treated for a time by his physicians, to no avail. He then decided to pack up the royal household and move to Jericho to take the baths. He tried the baths unsuccessfully for some days and then returned to Jerusalem. Believing that he soon would die, Herod came up with a diabolical plan to insure that all of Judea would mourn his death, in spite of his unpopularity. (contd)
@hexkid ...that his to be the largest funeral ever held in the history of the world. His body was embalmed. The army was assembled to carry his body in the funeral procession to a burial site some 25 miles away. The soldiers walked in bare feet, as was required when in mourning, traveling ONE MILE A DAY. A legate from Rome, where word of Herod's death had been received, arrived to protect the royal treasury. Finally, Herod's son Archelaus was crowned king ,,, (contd)
@hexkid ..and had time to issue a few decrees prior to the celebration of Passover" (The Star of Bethlehem, 1996). Only then came the Passover. The 29 days between the eclipse of 4 B.C. and the following Passover simply did not allow enough time for all of the above events to occur. A minimum of TEN WEEKS would have been required as Ernest Martin and others showed very carefully. Therefore the 4 B.C. date fails to account for what Josephus recorded. But on January 10, 1 B.C., ...(contd)
@hexkid ...there was a total lunar eclipse visible in Jerusalem which happened near midnight and lasted 51 minutes -- more than enough time to be observed by most people in the city.
In the temple of Augustus at Ankara, an inscription was found referring to a census in the year 8 B.C. The relationship of this "tax call" with the enrollment of Joseph and Mary is an UNFOUNDED conjecture, since it would apply only to Roman citizens. And it is even more conjectural to imagine ... (contd)
@hexkid ...that Mary would have had to travel so far, because the taxes would apply only to Joseph.
On the other hand, historians have identified a combination of a census and an oath of allegiance that would have effectively involved Mary and Joseph -- done between the years 3 and 2 B.C. -- as the result of an imperial decree related to the bestowal of the title "Pater Patriae" on Augustus by the Senate on February the 5th of the year 2 B.C.
@hexkid ...Pharisees refused to take the oath, approximately one year before Herod died, and Orosio, a historian of the 5th Century, CLEARLY links this oath with the enrollment of Joseph and Mary: "[Augustus] ordered that a census be taken of each province everywhere and that all men be enrolled. So at that time, Christ was born and was entered on the Roman census list as soon as he was born. This is the earliest and most famous public acknowledgment which marked Caesar as the first ... (contd)
@hexkid ...as the first of all men and the Romans as lords of the world...that first and greatest census was taken, since in this one name of Caesar all the peoples of the great nations took oath, and at the same time through the participation in the census, were made part of one society (quoted by John Pratt)."
Later, Orosio identifies the time of the census using two Roman systems that agreed among themselves, implying the death of Herod on the basis of this evidence at 2 B.C. ...(contd)
@hexkid ...This census would have included Joseph and Mary even though they were not Roman citizens. Being of royal lineage ("of the Houses of David"), both Joseph and Mary would have had to go specifically to Bethlehem to enroll. Augustus' decree required that all adults pledge their good will to Caesar, and the complete enrollment was presented to him as part of the celebrations.
Nevertheless, the proponents of the theory that Herod died in 4 B.C. keep repeating over and over ... (contd)
@hexkid ..again that "Dionysius was wrong", even though nobody has ever explained why convincingly! It is an assumption based on a false premise, because Herod did not die in 4 B.C. but in the year 1 B.C. The assertion regarding the year 4 B.C. is refutable on many grounds, and Ernest Martin in 1978 carefully showed its virtual impossibility, of which I have mentioned only the main arguments in this summary.
There far is more, but I have answered sufficiently. If you want more, I will give it.
@realamarica If Herod died in 1BC you still have failed to explain how this coincides with the governship of Syria by Quirinius, this is still a gap of a full 7 years. So all of your cut & paste work still hasn't actually answered the original contradiction in the Gospel.
Very nice example of how your Christian Apogetics use wild assertions & handwaving without actually answering the question.
@hexkid I haven't failed in anything. If you will not consider this part of your assertion to be in error, I will not waste anymore of my time to refute the other part. Do your own homework. The answers are out there. I was willing to discourse with you but you have shown you will reject anything I say.
You have also shown you are able to research for yourself, so you are without excuse. When you face God, you will bow your knees. Every knee will bow either before we die or after.
@realamarica I already accepted that some historians set Herod's death at 1BC even though the consensus view on the date is 4BC. Even given the latest possible date on Herod's death it still doesn't fit with Luke's testimony that Joeseph & Mary went to Bethlehem as a result of the census demanded by Quirinius as he did not arrive in the region for another 7 years.
You still failed to answer the question and now you are running away with yet more empty threats of eternal damnation.
@hexkid I'm not running away. I just don't see any reason for this to continue. We have both made up our minds what we believe. Nothing is going to change that. There are answers regarding the Quirinius issues, but I just believe you would mock it anyway and I have better use for my time than squabbling with you over this. I only gave you scripture, not threats.
However, if you think there is any valid reason to continue, I will find the time. But stop with the petty remarks or stop altogether.
@realamarica If you can't actually answer a straight question then you might as well stop trying.
You posted 17 comments attempting to show how Jesus was born in Herod's reign & at the time of Quirinius but failed to reduce to gap to less than 7 sevens.
You accused me of being closed-minded but failed to actually show any evidence that discredits the biology of the bombadier beatle.
Quit with the petty threats of eternal damnation as it makes you look like an intolerent bigot.
@hexkid I know you will reject anything I tell you. Of course I am going to look for the answers among Christians, and you will reject that. I would suggest you search this one out and read it for yourself. Save me having to "cut and paste"
"Was Luke Wrong About the Census Under Quirinius?" by Dr. John Ankerberg
The answers you ask for are there if you will get rid of your intolerant bias and set aside your anti-Christ spirit. Let us see who is a bigot.
@realamarica I have read the information at the web site and it is just standard special pleading. At the time of the Luke's proposed census it clearly states that Quirinius was in Pisidia (modern day Turkey) but proposes that "Augustus may well have put his trusted friend Quirinius in charge of a census enrollment in the region of Syria" even though there is not a shread of supporting historical evidence to support this claim. Quirinius's life is well-documented & this is just a fairy-tale.
@hexkid Your response does surprise me. Of course you will say this. Luke was meticulous and respected writer and lived in the time. He certainly knew who was in power at the time. There have been other times when the secular world thought they had found errors in the Bible only to be proven wrong at a later date when archeological evidence appeared to correct their errors.
You have made your mind up to look for reasons to doubt and you will always find them. That is your mindset.
@realamarica A fundamental principle of all historical study is that you just cannot make up an answer without supporting evidence. The Roman's were meticulous in their record keeping, they had to be in order to support an empire of that size. There are very detailed historical records kept by comtempory historians such as Tacitus, Titus Labienus, Josephus etc all of whom provide a very detailed account of Quirinius life and all of whom place him in Turkey at the time of Herod.
@hexkid I don't know how old your were when you went to church or when and if you ever fully committed your life to Jesus; whether you recognized your sinful nature and realized your need for a saviour if you did.
If you did all these things and knew what you were doing, you became a new person under Christ. As such you changed sides in a spiritual battle that has been ongoing since the first challenge against God's word by Satan when he called God a liar. If you ever gave your life to Christ
@hexkid There is ample evidence to the contrary but you must consider the conditions of the writings and the character of the writers. The suggestion is that Luke is wrong about the date of Jesus birth, because Cyrenius did not become governor of Syria until 6 A.D. But Luke wrote that he had carefully researched these things, chapter 1:3. So it is quite unlikely that Luke just keeps on mentioning names and places and well-known facts in order to trip himself up.
@realamarica I have faced many such battles in which my faith was tested. Peter mentions this in 1Pe 1:7 "That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise
and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:" The reasons for these trials are revealed in scripture. Peter again writes in 1Pe 1:9 that the rewards of overcoming is the "Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls."
@realamarica The worst part, is science doesn't distort the views of the bible. The religious are desperate enough to do so to evolution and atheists. Chanting stupid things like how because they believe in nothing they have no morals, and without god we'd be killing each other.
@KingR3aper Catholics are not Christian. Ask one. "Are you a Christian?" If he reguarly attends mass, services, confession with all the trappings, his answer will be, "No, I'm a Catholic."
I would not expect you to know the difference. I do not follow the Pope. I follow God. Evolution most definitely contradicts the Bible. I am educated too.
What amazes me is how hard people like you fight to prove your ancestors were monkeys descended from ocean slime. As for the Big Bang, what a joke. LOL
@realamarica The problem with you, is you have a rigidly horrible sense of self worth and false superiority. You deny evolution because you don't even know how it works.
You would rather not understand it than go against what you are familiar with.
One day your generation will die out. And humanity will finally move on.
@realamarica What IS a joke, is you firmly believe in a book written by man, that you have no idea has anything to do with God. You believe it because the book told you to.
So much so you believe that in the blink of an eye, we spontaneously generated out of thin hair because an omnipotent being from beyond was bored and felt like it. And you know this because a book, written by MAN, told you so.
@realamarica If you can tell me ONE reason that evolution is false other than "The book I blindly believe in told me so" I will TURN on a fucking dime, just show me, and I'm all yours. Yet you close your eyes and cover your ears like a 5 year old chanting "LALALLAALA!! I CANT HEAR YOU!!!".
@KingR3aper Why do you spend so much time trying to convince me to believe the way you do? I don't care what you believe. You know nothing about me, so I don't care what you say about me because you are in error about me, about the Bible, and about God. But I don't care what you believe.
Why don't you just move on with your delusions and stop preaching to me. Do you need to persuade me in order to justify your faith in a mindless spontaneous Big Bang, ocean slime and Monkey ancestors?
@KingR3aper Your statement about my kind dying off really shows what kind of person you are. In America we are guaranteed freedom of religion, but people like you want to force your religion down our throats, pump it out in schools and public media. You think by shouting louder that it makes you right. You think by wishing us dead that makes you superiour. You cannot erase the truth by hopeful wishing. You will someday bend your knees to the very God you mock. That is the truth. Stop hating.
@KingR3aper Yes, it is a religion. You walk in blindness and cannot understand spiritual things because your spirit is dead already. You curse, spew hatred with every breath you take and say you wish me and my kind dead and you say that is not hatred. You even use filth in the same sentence with Jesus Christ our redeemer. You are in no position to judge me since you are under the pursuasion of Satan and he has blinded you to all else. Your words are steeped in foulness and you are proud of it.
@realamarica Ohho my god.. yes. I DO wish you people will die out. YOU people, not fucking catholics, not christians, YOU people. The ones that are dug SO deep into their imagination, that you think "OMGS IM SO HOLY CUZ I READ A FICTICIOUS BOOK!"
You deny EVERYTHING listen to not reason, because you read a BOOK.
.......Holy shit. No, yeah I wish you people didn't exist so humanity can move on.
@realamarica If we are TRULY created, do you realize how horribly flawed the path of one of our nerves are?
It goes from our brian to our vocal chords, and for SOME reason, instead of it going straight there, it wraps around some arteries down into the chest then comes back up to the throat.
What kind of DESIGNER would do that? NONE. Its completely ineffecient and a very VERY poor design. Any CREATOR would simply, put that shit somewhere else.
@realamarica and the fact is YOU DON'T understand evolution. You don't WANT to. I've read both the bible and grew up in a strongly religious family.
You are completely absorbed in nothign but a book. You don't support GOD, you support what some man wrote ABOUT what HE thought god was.
For all YOU know, god could've EASILY set a path for evolution. But you'd rather have a random poof into existance. Humans, came from thin air just cause.
@KingR3aper I am sorry for your ignorance and your hatred. You cannot understand spiritual things because you are dead in your sins. You cling to the strong delusion that is coming upon the non-believers in these Last Days. I don't care what you preach. If your thinking is the product of evolution, then I am glad I am a Christian.
Do you know how sick it is for you to wish me dead because I exercise FREEDOM OF RELIGION in America? God help you.
@realamarica Are you that stupid? At what point did I say I wish you were dead? I said ONE DAY, your kind will die off, and its fucking true, one day your kind WILL die off and religion will only be an urban legend.
Do you know what YOUR KIND means? YOU, and people LIKE YOU, are the most hypocritical annoying people in modern society. You DARE post things like YOUR channel description, as if your only purpose on youtube is to TELL EVERYONE evolution is wrong.
@realamarica Again, MANY Christians, Catholics, have accepted evolution. Why? Because Natural fucking selection happens every day. Even SELECTIVE BREEDING, what FARMERS USE should be more than enough to convince you.
The fact insects are growing immune to our pesticides should be enough for you.
Instead YOU PEOPLE act friggin 8 and go "NOPE YOU'RE WRONG IM RIGHT CUZ BOOK SAID SO!"
@realamarica You don't just follow the fuckign bible, you people just don't want to be wrong. And are in SUCH denial, even a shittonofpeople from YOUR communities have already accepted these things.
The rest of you just WANT to be blind, because thats all you're familiar with. If GOD exists and is an omnipotent being, then why the HELL would he care what you believe in?
@KingR3aper Why do you care what I believe? You curse, shout, insult and make false accusations. You lie and call it truth.
The day will come when all us Christians will be gone. Then there will be a great Tribulation in which you will find out what hell on Earth is. You are unable to understand anything spiritual because you deny the truth and cling to deception. You have been brainwashed by a system that will only result in your eventual damnation. When I tell you the truth you curse me.
@KingR3aper What I put on my Channel is the truth. I find your Channel disgusting but I believe you have a right to put whatever you want on it. That is the difference between you and me.
I believe you have the right to believe in whatever religion you choose. I would not try to force my religion on you. You, on the other hand would rob me of rights and freedoms.
Apparently you only believe in freedom for those who agree with your twisted philosphy.
@realamarica No, sir I DON'T call it the truth, thats what makes you and I different. I'm not as completely ignorant and stupid enough to call ANYTHIGN the truth, like any sort of religion or creationist.
Because there IS no "TRUTH" nobody KNOWS it, nobody. Not you, not the bible, not science.
You see yourself as too important and significant, you think you're SPECIAL, and the fact evolution says you're not, offends the fuckign PISS out of you.
@realamarica and give me a break, all your peoples arguments decend into "HURR HITLER DID THAT".
Nobody is robbing you of any freedom so shut the fuck up, and "I find your channel disgusting!" is the dumbest fucking thing I've ever heard, do you see me putting religious bull crap or my beliefs on there like you do?
No, asshole. Your soul purpose to come on to youtube is to argue about religion, I come here to watch videos.
@KingR3aper You make yourself a liar. You claim you come here to watch videos, but spend your time calling me names and screeching at me. Go watch videos and leave me alone.
By the way, soul means what we are inside the flesh. The word you were looking for is "sole". I don't have to defend myself against you. God is my judge and yours whether you like it or not. That makes you angry because you cannot prove me wrong. All you can do is spew abuse rather than any thoughtful comments. Pathetic!
@realamarica I'm here because you actually APPRECIATE RETARDED VIDEOS LIKE THESE.
Because you people actually take the time to TRY TO PROVE EVOLUTION WRONG WITH FLAWED SCIENCE, lies, and misconceptions.
Do you even KNOW what evolution is? You DON'T do you? Dumbasses like you somehow think "HURF ITS A CREATURE SOMEHOW TURNING INTO THIS OTHER CREATURE! THATS HOW WE CAME TO BE??"
At least I have the bloody decency to know understand yours.
@realamarica So tell me, how is "THE LIE EVOLUTION?" Hm? how is it a LIE.
Because you THINK it is in your book written by some guy that wanted to make the population into obedient little brainless children so they're all under control, so that people will be orderly, and everyone will be scared of committing crime.
Thats the only friggin reason it exists. The story of Jesus even ripped off of the tale of Gilgamesh, long before the bible even came into existence.
@KingR3aper Why aren't you out watching videos? You said, " I come here to watch videos". But you can't resist harrassing me.
Maybe you have committed so many sins you think God cannot forgive you. You are wrong. I don't have anything you can't have. There is no sin so great that you cannot be forgiven. You don't have to carry around hate in your heart. God loved you enough to take your punishment for sin. All you have to do is confess your sins to Him and invite Him into your heart. Try it.
@realamarica Oh wow are you kidding me? Thats right, you can't tell me why evolution is a lie, can you?
Lets just spend the entire time dodging questions and use GOD as a fucking skapegoat for everything. Lets just tell how badly everyone is sinning if they disagree with us.
Ugh, take this point - Natural selection happens right in fucking front of you, so HOW is it a lie, you are blindly closing your eyes to conform to WHATEVER your book says.
@KingR3aper I could take a lot of time explaining the difference of micro and macro-evolution and all the other intricacies to you. But that would be useless. You could stop being lazy and do the research yourself with an open mind and find other answers that would surprise you.
I think you are stuck in a rut and would rather believe the deception because you are comfortable with it, your friends believe it and you are too weak to be leader. You will be follower all your life. Pray for help.
@realamarica I highly doubt you can. In fact, I doubt you can explain the basics. And no, I grew up in a very Christian home, and took bible studies every Sunday. I went to a Catholic elementary school - and a good chunk of my friends are either Christian or Catholic. So buddy, I've heard it all.
Any CREATIONIST has given the most ABSURD "evidences" that shows how much they understand evolution. Honestly, irreducible complexity? Give me a fucking a break.
@realamarica And Open mind? To you Open mind means "AGREE WITH ME!" - no, I HAVE an open mind. You know why?
Because as soon as you fucking SHOW ME how evolution is false, without giving me bullshit evidence that doesn't understand evolution in the first place - I WILL TURN on a FUCKING DIME and agree with you.
But I'm not the one living in a world where NATURAL SELCTION HAPPENS RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU (which is why we're scared of overusing PESTICIDES) and saying it doesn't happen.
@KingR3aper Before you could understand anything you would have to recognize you are victim of brainwashing. First you need to understand brainwashing & mind control techniques used in schools, hospitals, the army, totalitarian states; with political prisoners and dissidents, mentally insane, some versions of psychoterapy, etc., etc. Here are some things to look for: 1. PEER GROUP PRESSURE - Suppressing doubt and resistance to new ideas by exploiting the need to belong. (contd)
@KingR3aper 2. REJECTION OF OLD VALUES - Accelerating acceptance of new lifestyle by constantly denouncing former beliefs and values. 3. CONFUSING DOCTRINE - Encouraging blind acceptance and rejection of logic through complex lectures on an incomprehensible doctrine. 4. VERBAL ABUSE - Desensitizing through bombardment with foul and abusive language. (Physical abuse, such as torture, is the more extreme form of this.)
I think you can recognize #4. This is one of your favorite things to do.
@KingR3aper Here is one evolutionists do to Christians all the time. 5. NO QUESTIONS - Accomplishing automatic acceptance of beliefs by discouraging questions. 6. REPETITION - Going through the same subject over and over again until it is known by heart. (You must agree in school about evolution which no matter what you really believe). 7. SELF-BETRAYAL - In this technique, the victim is coerced to give up or denounce his beliefs and also the social system he comes from. (contd)
@KingR3aper Brainwashing is a destructive technique and can reduce a healthy, happy person to a mere puppet and in some cases, also prove fatal. Brainwashing, coercive persuasion, mind abuse, thought control, or thought reform refers to a process in which a group or individual "systematically uses unethically manipulative methods to persuade others to conform to the wishes of the manipulator(s), often to the detriment of the person being manipulated".
@KingR3aper ...which is of course the "Evolution god" (which is capable of anything), and high priests in positions of power - the evolution scientists. These priests have special "knowledge" and "understanding" that the rest of us don't have, and secretive language which the rest of us don't understand.
We must trust them because only they have the "education" and special intellect and knowledge to understand the "deep secrets" of the religion ("scientific" knowledge). (contd)
@KingR3aper ... It has whole armies of "teachers" in every school indoctrinating the children of the world to believe "the truth" of evolution. It has evangelists who write books and go about converting people to their religious beliefs about the origin of man.
If you talk to evolutionists enough you will hear phrases like, "Diversity is no problem for Evolution". Do you see how they deify Evolution? Evidently Evolution is all-powerful, since nothing is too hard for it to accomplish. (contd)
@KingR3aper ...After all, the entire Universe and all life on this planet evolved from nothing! How is their all-powerful god different than the all-powerful God of the Bible? Do you see?
But unlike other religious cults, this religion has a monopoly, much like the Catholic church did in Europe in centuries past. Its taxpayer funded and required educational subject matter by governments around the world. Not only does it fit the definition of a religion, it is a fundamentalist religion.
@realamarica Evolution isn't a religion you dumbass, holy fuck. It didn't EVOLVE from "nothing".
If you took ANY science courses in your life, and spent ANY amount of time in a lab, you'd know how to create VERY simple primitive life from absolutely nothing. Just particles consuming each other.
Its backed by RESEARCH, not a fuckign book written thousands of years ago by some guy.
@KingR3aper Its fundamentalist because they dogmatically hold that this Earth and the entire Universe created itself from nothing with no supreme being (God) involved, and that all elements "evolved" from hydrogen, and all life on Earth "evolved" from basic elements on this rock in a toxic atmosphere. We have no "spirit", so when we die - that's it! There is nothing more after that. You spend 40 years of your life accumulating as much wealth and possessions as you possibly can, ...(contd)
@KingR3aper ...only to spend maybe 20 leisurely years in retirement, and after that - nothing! Do you really believe this? Are we only material beings in a material world with no purpose other than to perpetuate the species? Does anyone really believe that?
Can anyone really conceive of all of the matter in the entire GIGANTIC Universe compressed into a tiny ball smaller than a pin head? Where did all this matter come from in the first place? Did it come from nothing all by itself? (contd)
@realamarica and you probably think the big bang was a friggin explosion.
And yes it IS possible, its called a black hole, which is another theory of the big bang.
When a black hole absorbs more mass and continues to give out a shittonna radiation, eventually it explodes. A theory is that the "pinhead" was a gigantic blackhole that swallowed too much.
@realamarica The reason you believe in this crap is because you HATE to think you have no purpose. You just can't humbly accept you're a homo sapien with a fantastically large brain in a beautiful world. Its not enough for you is it? You HAVE to have an afterlife and a purpose.
@KingR3aper How does matter transform from "nothing" into matter?
Like all cults, evolutionists start you out with slow indoctrination, in fact when you are just a child!
Consider that when you die, and you will die, that evolutionist teacher isn't going to be standing next to you before God. This God gave you a brain to think for yourself. You are going to have to explain, all by yourself, why you ever believed such a silly religion over His Word, which is backed up...(contd)
@KingR3aper ... by clear archaeological and historical evidence.
Like all cults, Evolution is a powerful delusion. Ask anyone who was formerly under its power, and they will attest to this. The reason it has power is because there is spiritual power behind it. No delusion is devoid of spiritual power, for it is spiritual in nature.
Learn the truth about the entire phony theories of evolution and be free. Here are the two premises on which the various theories of evolution are based: (contd)
@KingR3aper Formula 1. making a universe: Nothing + nothing = two elements + time = 92 natural elements + time = all physical laws and a completely structured universe of galaxies, systems, stars, planets, and moons orbiting in perfect balance and order.
Formula 2. making life: Dirt + water + time = living creatures.
Evolutionists theorize that the above two formulas can enable everything about us to make itself--with the exception of man-made things, such as automobiles or buildings.
@KingR3aper Complicated things, such as wooden boxes with nails in them, require thought, intelligence, and careful workmanship. But everything else about us in nature (such as hummingbirds and the human eye) is declared to be the result of accidental mishaps, random confusion, and time. You will not even need raw materials to begin with. They make themselves too.
Contrary to what evolutionists would like for you to believe, the theory of evolution is still just a theory, ...(contd)
@KingR3aper ...and no one can scientifically prove the idea that anything has ever evolved from one particular "kind" into another.
Yes, we do see differences in species in different parts of the world, and mutations can occur. A mutation is not an adaptation, however, and mutations generally harm or kill the thing that is mutated.
A species can actually adapt to an adverse environment and change to survive, and that adaptation can happen relatively fast (a lot faster ... (contd)
@KingR3aper ....than was assumed to support the evolution theory) as shown by experiments conducted by scientists around the world in recent years. But, no one has ever shown that a species can actually change into another species even in the tiniest way. Evolution is a belief, not a science.
The previous point (speed of adaptation), however, simply adds to the argument against evolution since there are so many things about human beings that don’t fit into this mold at all. (contd)
@KingR3aper ...For instance, if we’ve evolved over billions of years on this planet; why can’t we see at night since we’ve spent half of those billions of years in the dark? Why are cats and relatively few other species the only one's endowed with this ability? And why does the sun burn us when we’ve spent half of those billions of years in the sun? Why haven’t we developed any protection from darkness and the suns rays or even moderate temperature changes?
@KingR3aper We haven’t had homes and desk jobs long enough to make the difference.
We spent our time outside in the elements working our fields for food or hunting, etc. If evolution were a fact, we’d have much more adapted bodies to the environment we live in. Have our minds made us so superior to animals that we no longer have the strength of animals or need hairy bodies and thick skin to protect us from cold, or fangs to tear the meat from our prey? And our natural ability ... (contd)
@realamarica dude, shut up. You've just shown to me you have absolutely no idea wtf evolution is. The more you continue, the more unbelievably uneducated I realize you are.
@KingR3aper ... to outsmart everything has made it so we don’t need any of those things? Hello???
Everything we know about human history is about warfare and competition and being bigger and stronger than our neighbour. We don’t have weaker muscles than animals because we don’t use them; we have these bodies because this is the way God made us. He separated us from the animals in many ways.
The common theory states that there was matter and energy, already in existence, ...(contd)
@KingR3aper ...that exploded 15 billion years ago and has expanded into the present state of the universe. That basic science means that if I take the bicycle out in my garage and leave it sitting around and expose it to energy for 15 billion years it could turn into a living, breathing, ferocious tiger! Pretty stupid, huh? But that’s really what they’re trying to sell us, minus all the unproven “scientific evidence” that they say they have. Hard matter and energy ... (contd)
@KingR3aper No, you sent me what you have been brainwashed into believing. Do some research for "dinosaurs in current archeology", "biblical archeolgy latest discoveries", "dead sea scrolls and proof of the Bible", "Is Evolution a fraud?", "Have We been lied to about Evolution?"
Don't just search withing the field of those who have been perpetrating this great deception.
Stop being a part of the lie and think for yourself.
@realamarica wow, no, you're going to go read it, Because whatever YOU think evolution is, is completely wrong.
That is not how it works at all.
You don't grow a fucking bigger right arm because you keep using your right arm for half a damn century.
Your SONS won't grow a bigger arm if you use that arm a lot.
Thats not how it bloody works, and I think you should at LEAST learn what the hell evolution is before going off about it and know absolutely nothing about it.
@realamarica EVERYTHING and I mean EVERYTHING you've JUST told me, shows how HORRIBLY misguided you are about what evolution is.
The fact you think we would have more adapted bodies because of constant hunting, and and outdoorsmanship is completely laughable. If YOUR form of "evolution" were a fact, then yes we WOULD be more adapted.
No, you don't know what it is. So I want you to take your time, read my message about what it IS.
@KingR3aper ...somehow turned into biological life? And how do we explain the fallacy that two co-existing elements that can't live without each other (proteins and nucleic acids) spontaneously came into being at the same time? How far from logic do we have to turn in order to allow this to slip by our theories? Evolution is a belief, not a science.
It actually takes more faith to believe in evolution than it does to believe in Creation!
@hexkid The first thing that should be mentioned is that Luke very carefully wrote that this was the first census. So there was another one, probably one well-known and Luke wants to distinguish this taxing from that one everyone knew about. And there was indeed a second taxing, a very well-known one, mentioned by Josephus in the Antiquities and the Jewish Wars (Book 2, Chapter 8 and 17). This census was taken in 6 AD by Quirinius, a figure well attested in historical records. (contd)
@hexkid Quirinius and Cyrenius are the same person (Cyrenius is a badly chosen translation from Greek, which is just the Greek spelling for the Roman name). The census of 6 AD almost led to open revolt and was the impetus for founding the party of the Zealots. The founder of the party, Judas the Galilean, and this second taxing is mentioned by Luke in Acts 5:37. The word for governor would have been legatus. The governors in Syria were Sentius Saturninus from 9 to 6 BC, (contd)
@hexkid ...and after that Publius Quintilius Varus until at least April 4 BC. Between 4 and 1 BC it is not known who governed Syria. So Quirinius could have been governor de jure in the transition from Saturnius to Varus or perhaps after.
Luke shows himself to be such a careful historian throughout both his Gospel and the Acts of the Apostles, his other historical work. He also wrote during a time when others had access to the information and did not refute him.
@realamarica Good to see that you have gained all of your knowledge of Roman Senators of Syria from Wikipedia but the statement you made is not quite complete.
There is some historical disagreement over exactly who was Senator between 4 & 1BC, but the majority of historians (based on the records of Tacitus & the Lapis Tiburtinus) believe it was Lucius Calpurnius Piso however others believe that Piso had a short governership and was then replaced by Varus in 3BC for a 2nd term.
@realamarica One thing that the historical record is clear on though is that Quirinius was not in the region during the disputed period as he was fighting the Homonadenses in the mountainous area of Eastern Turkey. There is no way that Augustus would have sent a successful general in the middle of a campaign to organise a census and there is no historical evidence to support this leap of imagination.
Look at him taking advantage of little children. These guys are so evil.

FailToTheEpicDegree 4 months ago
@FailToTheEpicDegree OK, but what about all the evidence? I'm not jumping to any conclusions. I keep an open mind. There have been experiments done that prove evolution itself is real, but as far as life as we know it coming about by means of evolution is certainly up for debate. No doubt. Believing in intelligent-design seems more based on faith rather than solid evidence. I used to believe in a deity, but I am very skeptical of it now.
TheSecrecyOfSolitude 1 month ago
in modern science, but the theory of evolution is not one of them, and has probably hindered others from surfacing.
FailToTheEpicDegree 4 months ago
Wow I know I shouldn't be astonished at how many simple minded people are in this world, but reading through some of these comments I am. Some of you just jump right in to defend evolution, when you yourselves know nothing more then what your taught by others, others who you believe and trust just because they are given special titles for learning the same thing they're teaching you. You shouldn't just trust in a whole of something just because most of it is good. We have made many advancements
FailToTheEpicDegree 4 months ago
@MrFungus420 Evolution can easily be proven wrong with strong scientific evidence. Getting a degree in something doesn't make you an expert, in fact it merely makes you a follower of whatever your professor taught you. You should learn to think for yourself instead of believing in whatever your told. If you don't want to think for yourself then by all means, believe what your taught by those who claim to be experts without giving it a second thought.
FailToTheEpicDegree 4 months ago
Bible and Fact should not be used as it is an oxymoron.
swingfire0011 4 months ago
Wow...somebody who majored in business and education has the expertise to overturn over 150 years of evidence, tests, experiments and successful predictions made by thousands of people who have actually devoted their lives to studying and understanding biology.
Boy...aren't all of those scientists going to feel ridiculous when the find out that all they needed to do was major in business and education to be able to win the Nobel Prize for falsifying evolution.
So, when do you get your Nobel?

t is important to understand that there is a BIG, BIG difference between religious belief systems and science. Science is a tool used to solve problems. Religious belief systems are stories you believe in. You don't believe in your hammer, you use it to solve problems. Likewise, you don't believe in evolutionary theory, rather; you use it to solve problems. What you DON'T do is "believe" or confuse science for "truth".
blaisingm 10 months ago

The answer would be that torture breaks the balance and that is wrong God or not
kenji214245 11 months ago
@callofduty497 Isn't the wrong still that one is causing a person pain for one selfs gain? That one is doing something that many thinks is horrible and what our conscience tells us is wrong. isn't the wrong that you claim the right to decide for another person? i could answer with a question to that are we Equal? we all know that some people are stronger and some people a smarter or faster Some contribute more than others. Some are kinder than many but still they do not make the same difference
kenji214245 11 months ago
@callofduty497 well i could start by saying that im more of an agnostic i don't deny the possibility of a higher being but i don't really buy the answers religions have either. And yes this site tends to be quite aggressive on both sides. now then i will try to answer but i have to apologize i am only 18 and do lack some of the knowledge in the area
kenji214245 11 months ago
okay im sick an tired of seeing this everywhere THE EVOLUTION THEORY HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH BIG BANG OR THE BEGINNING OF LIFE!!!
the evolution theory tries to explain how things after life started, evolved and improved and so far no one has really been able to disprove it but it is still seen as only a theory
kenji214245 11 months ago
@callofduty497 yeah it killed and slaughtered any other that tried to speak against it oh and don't forget powerful people that had political interest worked hard to use it to control their countries as effective as possible of course there are many other things like that but yeah. Did you for example know that Christianity developed and had breakthroughs in the art of torture? i don't hate them the have done good to but their credibility is a bit tainted don't you think?
kenji214245 11 months ago
@callofduty497 Even it it was not offensive and childish that wouldn't make it more believable. Stop it with this discussion. I might consider convincing you that "Alice in Wonderland" is a true story. Just because i may believe it is true this doesn't mean you would believe me. We KNOW all life on this planet evolved. This destroys the fundamental core of Christianity. End of discussion... lets move on as a race shall we?
petestrat07 11 months ago
@callofduty497 Enough already! What a load of childish bullshit. Wake up dude, go and get help from sane people.
petestrat07 11 months ago
@callofduty497 Christianity is based on lies and fear. I find the threat of eternal Hell quite offensive. Love an invisib;e deity of burn in Hell forever. What a bunch of transparent rubbish. It's fiction man, move on.
petestrat07 11 months ago
Hatered and bitterness is all creationists have left in their futile argument against the facts of life. Thank fuck the bible was bullshit. I'd wish I was never born if it were true.
petestrat07 11 months ago
I believe the creator of this video was ill-informed but that does not necessarily make them an idiot. Just to clear some things up, the bombardier beetle doesn't actually have an inhibitor or anti-inhibitor, as they are not needed. This is because when mixed the two chemicals do not actually explode. The reaction that takes place actually takes happens because the chemicals are released into a chamber lined with certain catalysts, which then break down the two chemicals creating the reaction.
GravDuck 1 year ago
@GravDuck Now that that's out of the way, the main point that the creator of this video is making is that the bombardier beetle is irreducibly complex, but that is still misinformed. See, evolution isn't necessarily the process of adding parts, as it is also the process of removing parts, and indeed changing the purpose of parts.
If the chamber in which the reaction takes place was weaker, then this could cause the beetle to explode, no? But what's to say it didn't already have that chamber...
GravDuck 1 year ago
@GravDuck ... and it was just serving another purpose. Things like this can be observed all the time in nature.
GravDuck 1 year ago
It sounds for once like a creationist may have a valid argument. Pending fact verification.
swilson3d 1 year ago
This is just stupid. OF COURSE this isnt a scientific experiment, this is a demonstration for kids. If you want real science on the beetle, i am sure there is something out there. But even if not, the sole fact that evolution cant expalin everything YET is in no way a way dispoove evolution.
This in no way exposes dawkin it exposes how desperatly the oponents of evolution try to smear evolution promoters, because they cant do anything about their arguments they resort to ridiculous attacks
MrRichardQED 1 year ago
I know within the first 5 seconds of watching this video that it's bullshit. How, you ask? Because proof is only possible within the field of mathematics.
Alexdurrant7 1 year ago
This guy clearly has no understanding of chemistry.
1. He asserts his claim numerous times (sounds like a jerk)
2. No such inhibitor chemical exists or this liar would have named it
3. 212 degrees (boiling point) not causing the beetle to explode? Really?

Question:
If natural selection did not exist, why would we worry about insects growing immune to our pesticides every generation, why would we have selective breeding. Sure selective breeding isn't "natural", but you're taking all the genes that you love, and reproducing it. Because theres benefits. Like, fatter cows and tomatoes.
If you're saying it doesn't exist, you're saying the techniques that farmers are using, don't exist.
And you know what we call that?
Denial.

MrRichardQED 1 year ago
even if the systems could have gotten weaker or stronger, that's just like us today, people with weak bones for example. that doesn't prove we are evolving.
if the beetle evolved, it obviously would have to have less parts and get more as life went on. he never explains how the systems could work if there was a part or two missing.
that's like trying to learn to drive a car with only 10% of the car. you need all the parts together or it doesn't work.
MrJeremiah2913 1 year ago
All the chemicals involved in this process are either natural defense chemicals of all arthropods, or the products of normal cellular biology. There's no magic to it; and no magic to the gradual series of evolutionary steps which slowly over time caused the organs involved in it to develop from generic patches of normal beetle parts to specialized to the task of handling the gradually evolving combustion.

I pity your poor students if this is the quality of teaching that your provide.
hexkid 1 year ago
Shame for the creationists that there are other species of beetles which have a simpler defence mechanism using the same chemicals. For example Metrius Contractus which produces a repellant foam, this is evidence that shows Irreducible Compleplexity is a load of BS.

@hexkid By all means, keep your blinders on. Don't do any real research. Reject it because it is from a creationist perspective. Really open-minded.
realamarica 1 year ago
@realamarica I rejected it as this whole line of argument was proved to be incorrect. The statements made about the Bomdadier Beetle have been shown to be completely bogus as i) they don't spontaneosly combust, ii) there is not inhibitor, iii) the same chemicals are found & used in other beetles for other purposes.
Rejected because the argument doesn't stack up whereas you seem to be so open-minded that your rational brain has fallen out.
hexkid 1 year ago
@hexkid Why is that people who live in your mindset group always resort to insults when they end their debate? Do you think it lends validity to your standing? It lowers the debate to a level of childish name-calling.

@realamarica I provided a detailed argument of exactly why the argument was irrational but you went straight for the ad hom attack accusing me of not being open-minded.

hexkid 1 year ago
@hexkid You have no idea what a hypocrite is. You claim to have grown up in a Christian church, yet you turn your back on your early 'claimed' faith. I think you may be hiding from the truth of who is a hypocrite. You ARE close minded. That is the truth.
Let me ask you this, If you had an adult child who spit on you, yelled, cursed and shook his fist at you and said he didn't need you, would you force him to live under your roof? Would he even be welcome in your house? Be truthful.
realamarica 1 year ago
@realamarica Yet again you manage to post a logic-free reply. I asked if you had a reasoned argument, it's not obvious that you don't have one.
I believed in christ until my teens when I read the Bible in more detail and found it to be a mess of contradictions. That coupled with the hypocricy and intolerance practised by the so-called followers of Christ caused me to re-evaluate. Reading your comments just illustrates the irrationality & intolerance at the base of your so-called faith.
hexkid 1 year ago
@hexkid The issues are not about Beetles or such which we could argue until the end of time. The issues are about choices and beliefs and respecting each other's rights of choice.
I believe you have the right to choose to reject God. I also believe I have the right to exercise my faith. God commands me to share the Gospel with anyone and everyone who will listen. It does not command me to save you. That is God's job. I have learned not to look at so-called followers of Christ, but at Christ.
realamarica 1 year ago
@realamarica Actually the issues her are all about beetles. If you have to propose obvious faleshoods in order to support your view that the bombadier beetle could not be the result of evolution then you are highlighting the lack of intellectual integrity required to be a proponent of creationism.
Lying for Jesus is still lying.

@hexkid You make the claim that there are contradictions in the Bible. I will ask you what contradictions are there that have any significance regarding the Gospels and the reality of Christ and Him raised, and our redemption through Him.
I will make it easy. Should you wish to discuss contradictions, please let us do them one at a time.
Give me one, and I will faithfully research it as should you, and come back with an answer. I will look to God for the answers, as should you.
realamarica 1 year ago
@realamarica Ok, I'll pick a very simple historical contradiction.
Luke 2 states that Joeseph 7 Mary travelled to Bethelem for the census of Quirinius (aka Cyrenius). The Gospels also state that Herod was the King at the time of Jesus's birth.
Problem is that Herod died in 4BC & Quirinius didn't become governer of the region until 6AD i.e. 10 years later. At the proposed date of Jesus's birth, Quirinius was serving in Crete before fighting in Northern Turkey.
hexkid 1 year ago
@hexkid There is an answer to this apparent contradiction. It has been debated and debunked. The rebuttel is long, but I will give it to you.
Proponents of the theory that Herod died in 4 B.C. keep repeating over and over again that "Dionysius was wrong", is an assumption based on a false premise, because Herod did not die in 4 B.C. but in the year 1 B.C. The assertion regarding the year 4 B.C. is refutable on many grounds, and Ernest Martin in 1978 carefully showed its virtual impossibility.
realamarica 1 year ago
@hexkid Josephus mentions that Herod died in the interval between a Lunar eclipse and the following Passover. For centuries this has been thought to be the eclipse of March 13, 4 B.C., and this evidence of astronomy has had a large part in establishing the dogma that Herod died that year.
Recent calculations, however, showed that this eclipse was only partial (40 percent total and fairly hard to detect), and that the events narrated by Josephus to have occurred between this eclipse.. (contd)
realamarica 1 year ago
@hexkid ...and the Passover that followed are impossible to fit in if one takes the 4 B.C. date. The total eclipses of January 9-10, 1 B.C. and December 29, 1 B.C., however, eliminate these problems.
To determine which lunar eclipse was the correct one, one needs to know that lunar eclipses happen ONLY when there is a full moon and ONLY with a frequency of three times a year. The eclipse of January 10, 1 B.C. is listed as eclipse number 1,860 in Theodor Oppolozer's Cannon of Eclipses..(contd)
realamarica 1 year ago
@hexkid ...(Dover, New York, 1962). That eclipse, according to John Pratt, was listed as TOTAL for 51 minutes near midnight and centered over 15 degrees east longitude, which is PERFECT for having been viewed in Jerusalem. The eclipse of August 5 was over the Pacific Ocean and not visible in Jerusalem, while the one of December 29 was only partial.
Ernest Martin notes that, "the eclipse of Josephus had to have been that of January 9/10, 1 B.C. All the events mentioned by Josephus .. (contd)
realamarica 1 year ago
@hexkid ...fit quite comfortably with this eclipse, and ONLY with this eclipse, and ONLY with this eclipse. In fact, everything fits beautifully in other ways. There is a Jewish document called the Megillath Taanith (Scroll of Fasting) which was composed, initially, not long after the destruction of Jerusalem in A.D. 70. This scroll mentions two semi-festival days during which no mourning was permitted. One is Kislev 7. The month of Kislev corresponds in most years with our December. (contd)
realamarica 1 year ago
@hexkid ...The other commemorative day was Schebat 2. This month answers to our late January or early February. No one knows why these two days of feasting are commemorated yet they must have been days of joy ordained before the destruction of Jerusalem in A.D. 70. What did they honor?"
An early Jewish commentator who probably lived in the seventh century wrote a brief remark to Kislev 7 (December 5th): 'The day of Herod's death.' However, M. Moise Schwab, who studied the information... (contd)
realamarica 1 year ago
@hexkid ...about the scroll very extensively, felt that it was really the second of the days, Schebat 2 (January 28th) that was the actual day commemorating Herod's death. And interestingly, this latter date fits remarkably well with the January 10th eclipse of Josephus. Herod's death on this very day would have occurred 18 days after the eclipse. All the information in Josephus about Herod's activities between the eclipse and his death fit compatibly with the chronological facts....(contd)
realamarica 1 year ago
@hexkid Just before Herod died, he said: 'I know that the Jews will celebrate my death by A FESTIVAL.' And Schebat 2 (as well as Kislev 7 for the tearing down of the eagle and Tebeth 9 for the sentencing of the rabbis) fits the historical timetable perfectly. Also, the events that Josephus said happened between Herod's death and the next Passover can be chronologically placed in a reasonable way (The Star that Astonished the World, pp. 101-102, 104). Dr. Craig Chester wrote on this:
(contd)

@hexkid .."Herod was sick at the time of the execution of the rabbis, and his condition worsened almost immediately. He was treated for a time by his physicians, to no avail. He then decided to pack up the royal household and move to Jericho to take the baths. He tried the baths unsuccessfully for some days and then returned to Jerusalem. Believing that he soon would die, Herod came up with a diabolical plan to insure that all of Judea would mourn his death, in spite of his unpopularity. (contd)
realamarica 1 year ago
@hexkid ...that his to be the largest funeral ever held in the history of the world. His body was embalmed. The army was assembled to carry his body in the funeral procession to a burial site some 25 miles away. The soldiers walked in bare feet, as was required when in mourning, traveling ONE MILE A DAY. A legate from Rome, where word of Herod's death had been received, arrived to protect the royal treasury. Finally, Herod's son Archelaus was crowned king ,,, (contd)
realamarica 1 year ago
@hexkid ..and had time to issue a few decrees prior to the celebration of Passover" (The Star of Bethlehem, 1996). Only then came the Passover. The 29 days between the eclipse of 4 B.C. and the following Passover simply did not allow enough time for all of the above events to occur. A minimum of TEN WEEKS would have been required as Ernest Martin and others showed very carefully. Therefore the 4 B.C. date fails to account for what Josephus recorded. But on January 10, 1 B.C., ...(contd)
realamarica 1 year ago
@hexkid ...there was a total lunar eclipse visible in Jerusalem which happened near midnight and lasted 51 minutes -- more than enough time to be observed by most people in the city.
In the temple of Augustus at Ankara, an inscription was found referring to a census in the year 8 B.C. The relationship of this "tax call" with the enrollment of Joseph and Mary is an UNFOUNDED conjecture, since it would apply only to Roman citizens. And it is even more conjectural to imagine ... (contd)
realamarica 1 year ago
@hexkid ...that Mary would have had to travel so far, because the taxes would apply only to Joseph.
On the other hand, historians have identified a combination of a census and an oath of allegiance that would have effectively involved Mary and Joseph -- done between the years 3 and 2 B.C. -- as the result of an imperial decree related to the bestowal of the title "Pater Patriae" on Augustus by the Senate on February the 5th of the year 2 B.C.
Josephus recorded that nearly 6000... (contd)
realamarica 1 year ago
@hexkid ...Pharisees refused to take the oath, approximately one year before Herod died, and Orosio, a historian of the 5th Century, CLEARLY links this oath with the enrollment of Joseph and Mary: "[Augustus] ordered that a census be taken of each province everywhere and that all men be enrolled. So at that time, Christ was born and was entered on the Roman census list as soon as he was born. This is the earliest and most famous public acknowledgment which marked Caesar as the first ... (contd)
realamarica 1 year ago
@hexkid ...as the first of all men and the Romans as lords of the world...that first and greatest census was taken, since in this one name of Caesar all the peoples of the great nations took oath, and at the same time through the participation in the census, were made part of one society (quoted by John Pratt)."
Later, Orosio identifies the time of the census using two Roman systems that agreed among themselves, implying the death of Herod on the basis of this evidence at 2 B.C. ...(contd)
realamarica 1 year ago
@hexkid ...This census would have included Joseph and Mary even though they were not Roman citizens. Being of royal lineage ("of the Houses of David"), both Joseph and Mary would have had to go specifically to Bethlehem to enroll. Augustus' decree required that all adults pledge their good will to Caesar, and the complete enrollment was presented to him as part of the celebrations.
Nevertheless, the proponents of the theory that Herod died in 4 B.C. keep repeating over and over ... (contd)
realamarica 1 year ago
@hexkid ..again that "Dionysius was wrong", even though nobody has ever explained why convincingly! It is an assumption based on a false premise, because Herod did not die in 4 B.C. but in the year 1 B.C. There far is more, but I have answered sufficiently. If you want more, I will give it.
realamarica 1 year ago
@realamarica If Herod died in 1BC you still have failed to explain how this coincides with the governship of Syria by Quirinius, this is still a gap of a full 7 years. So all of your cut & paste work still hasn't actually answered the original contradiction in the Gospel.
Very nice example of how your Christian Apogetics use wild assertions & handwaving without actually answering the question.
hexkid 1 year ago
@hexkid I haven't failed in anything. If you will not consider this part of your assertion to be in error, I will not waste anymore of my time to refute the other part. Do your own homework. The answers are out there. I was willing to discourse with you but you have shown you will reject anything I say.
You have also shown you are able to research for yourself, so you are without excuse. When you face God, you will bow your knees. Every knee will bow either before we die or after.
realamarica 1 year ago
@realamarica I already accepted that some historians set Herod's death at 1BC even though the consensus view on the date is 4BC. Even given the latest possible date on Herod's death it still doesn't fit with Luke's testimony that Joeseph & Mary went to Bethlehem as a result of the census demanded by Quirinius as he did not arrive in the region for another 7 years.
You still failed to answer the question and now you are running away with yet more empty threats of eternal damnation.
hexkid 1 year ago
@hexkid I'm not running away. I just don't see any reason for this to continue. We have both made up our minds what we believe. Nothing is going to change that. There are answers regarding the Quirinius issues, but I just believe you would mock it anyway and I have better use for my time than squabbling with you over this. I only gave you scripture, not threats.
However, if you think there is any valid reason to continue, I will find the time. But stop with the petty remarks or stop altogether.
realamarica 1 year ago

Let us see who is a bigot.
realamarica 1 year ago
@realamarica I have read the information at the web site and it is just standard special pleading. At the time of the Luke's proposed census it clearly states that Quirinius was in Pisidia (modern day Turkey) but proposes that "Augustus may well have put his trusted friend Quirinius in charge of a census enrollment in the region of Syria" even though there is not a shread of supporting historical evidence to support this claim. Quirinius's life is well-documented & this is just a fairy-tale.
hexkid 1 year ago
@hexkid Your response does surprise me. Of course you will say this. Luke was meticulous and respected writer and lived in the time. He certainly knew who was in power at the time. There have been other times when the secular world thought they had found errors in the Bible only to be proven wrong at a later date when archeological evidence appeared to correct their errors.
You have made your mind up to look for reasons to doubt and you will always find them. That is your mindset.
realamarica 1 year ago
@realamarica A fundamental principle of all historical study is that you just cannot make up an answer without supporting evidence. The Roman's were meticulous in their record keeping, they had to be in order to support an empire of that size. There are very detailed historical records kept by comtempory historians such as Tacitus, Titus Labienus, Josephus etc all of whom provide a very detailed account of Quirinius life and all of whom place him in Turkey at the time of Herod.

@hexkid I don't know how old your were when you went to church or when and if you ever fully committed your life to Jesus; whether you recognized your sinful nature and realized your need for a saviour if you did.

realamarica 1 year ago
@realamarica The Gospel of Luke was written some time after 60AD and it looks like the author's recall of history was not 100%.
hexkid 1 year ago
@hexkid There is ample evidence to the contrary but you must consider the conditions of the writings and the character of the writers. The suggestion is that Luke is wrong about the date of Jesus birth, because Cyrenius did not become governor of Syria until 6 A.D. But Luke wrote that he had carefully researched these things, chapter 1:3. So it is quite unlikely that Luke just keeps on mentioning names and places and well-known facts in order to trip himself up.

The day will come when all us Christians will be gone. Then there will be a great Tribulation in which you will find out what hell on Earth is. You are unable to understand anything spiritual because you deny the truth and cling to deception. You have been brainwashed by a system that will only result in your eventual damnation. When I tell you the truth you curse me.
realamarica 1 year ago
@KingR3aper What I put on my Channel is the truth. I find your Channel disgusting but I believe you have a right to put whatever you want on it. That is the difference between you and me.
I believe you have the right to believe in whatever religion you choose. I would not try to force my religion on you. You, on the other hand would rob me of rights and freedoms.
Apparently you only believe in freedom for those who agree with your twisted philosphy.
Hitler was like that. He was a murderer.
realamarica 1 year ago
@realamarica No, sir I DON'T call it the truth, thats what makes you and I different. I'm not as completely ignorant and stupid enough to call ANYTHIGN the truth, like any sort of religion or creationist.
Because there IS no "TRUTH" nobody KNOWS it, nobody. Not you, not the bible, not science.
You see yourself as too important and significant, you think you're SPECIAL, and the fact evolution says you're not, offends the fuckign PISS out of you.
KingR3aper 1 year ago
@realamarica and give me a break, all your peoples arguments decend into "HURR HITLER DID THAT".
Nobody is robbing you of any freedom so shut the fuck up, and "I find your channel disgusting!" is the dumbest fucking thing I've ever heard, do you see me putting religious bull crap or my beliefs on there like you do?
No, asshole. Your soul purpose to come on to youtube is to argue about religion, I come here to watch videos.
KingR3aper 1 year ago
@KingR3aper You make yourself a liar. You claim you come here to watch videos, but spend your time calling me names and screeching at me. Go watch videos and leave me alone.
By the way, soul means what we are inside the flesh. The word you were looking for is "sole". I don't have to defend myself against you. God is my judge and yours whether you like it or not. That makes you angry because you cannot prove me wrong. All you can do is spew abuse rather than any thoughtful comments. Pathetic!
realamarica 1 year ago
KingR3aper 1 year ago
@realamarica So tell me, how is "THE LIE EVOLUTION?" Hm? how is it a LIE.
Because you THINK it is in your book written by some guy that wanted to make the population into obedient little brainless children so they're all under control, so that people will be orderly, and everyone will be scared of committing crime.
Thats the only friggin reason it exists. The story of Jesus even ripped off of the tale of Gilgamesh, long before the bible even came into existence.
KingR3aper 1 year ago
@KingR3aper Why aren't you out watching videos? You said, " I come here to watch videos". But you can't resist harrassing me.
Maybe you have committed so many sins you think God cannot forgive you. You are wrong. I don't have anything you can't have. There is no sin so great that you cannot be forgiven. You don't have to carry around hate in your heart. God loved you enough to take your punishment for sin. All you have to do is confess your sins to Him and invite Him into your heart. Try it.
realamarica 1 year ago
@realamarica Oh wow are you kidding me? Thats right, you can't tell me why evolution is a lie, can you?
Lets just spend the entire time dodging questions and use GOD as a fucking skapegoat for everything. Lets just tell how badly everyone is sinning if they disagree with us.
Ugh, take this point - Natural selection happens right in fucking front of you, so HOW is it a lie, you are blindly closing your eyes to conform to WHATEVER your book says.
Think for yourself for once. Have fun.
KingR3aper 1 year ago
@KingR3aper I could take a lot of time explaining the difference of micro and macro-evolution and all the other intricacies to you. But that would be useless. You could stop being lazy and do the research yourself with an open mind and find other answers that would surprise you.
I think you are stuck in a rut and would rather believe the deception because you are comfortable with it, your friends believe it and you are too weak to be leader. You will be follower all your life. Pray for help.
realamarica 1 year ago
@realamarica I highly doubt you can. In fact, I doubt you can explain the basics. And no, I grew up in a very Christian home, and took bible studies every Sunday. I went to a Catholic elementary school - and a good chunk of my friends are either Christian or Catholic. So buddy, I've heard it all.
Any CREATIONIST has given the most ABSURD "evidences" that shows how much they understand evolution. Honestly, irreducible complexity? Give me a fucking a break.
KingR3aper 1 year ago
@realamarica And Open mind? To you Open mind means "AGREE WITH ME!" - no, I HAVE an open mind. You know why?
Because as soon as you fucking SHOW ME how evolution is false, without giving me bullshit evidence that doesn't understand evolution in the first place - I WILL TURN on a FUCKING DIME and agree with you.
But I'm not the one living in a world where NATURAL SELCTION HAPPENS RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU (which is why we're scared of overusing PESTICIDES) and saying it doesn't happen.
KingR3aper 1 year ago
@realamarica and the bible isn't fricken evidence, give me the science of why its false. REAL science not that bullcrap pseudoscience.
KingR3aper 1 year ago
@KingR3aper Before you could understand anything you would have to recognize you are victim of brainwashing. First you need to understand brainwashing & mind control techniques used in schools, hospitals, the army, totalitarian states; with political prisoners and dissidents, mentally insane, some versions of psychoterapy, etc., etc. Here are some things to look for: 1. PEER GROUP PRESSURE - Suppressing doubt and resistance to new ideas by exploiting the need to belong. (contd)
realamarica 1 year ago
@realamarica Oh my GOD give me a fuckign break. The only person brainwashed is you...sweet fucking christ WHY ARE YOU PEOPLE SO STUPID
KingR3aper 1 year ago
@KingR3aper 2. REJECTION OF OLD VALUES - Accelerating acceptance of new lifestyle by constantly denouncing former beliefs and values. 3. CONFUSING DOCTRINE - Encouraging blind acceptance and rejection of logic through complex lectures on an incomprehensible doctrine. 4. VERBAL ABUSE - Desensitizing through bombardment with foul and abusive language. (Physical abuse, such as torture, is the more extreme form of this.)
I think you can recognize #4. This is one of your favorite things to do.
realamarica 1 year ago
@KingR3aper Here is one evolutionists do to Christians all the time. 5. NO QUESTIONS - Accomplishing automatic acceptance of beliefs by discouraging questions. 6. REPETITION - Going through the same subject over and over again until it is known by heart. (You must agree in school about evolution which no matter what you really believe). 7. SELF-BETRAYAL - In this technique, the victim is coerced to give up or denounce his beliefs and also the social system he comes from. (contd)
realamarica 1 year ago
@KingR3aper Brainwashing is a destructive technique and can reduce a healthy, happy person to a mere puppet and in some cases, also prove fatal. Brainwashing, coercive persuasion, mind abuse, thought control, or thought reform refers to a process in which a group or individual "systematically uses unethically manipulative methods to persuade others to conform to the wishes of the manipulator(s), often to the detriment of the person being manipulated".
This is what has been done to you.
realamarica 1 year ago
@KingR3aper You should be angry with those who took part in bringing this into your life. Let's look at some definitions of Religion:
1. A specific fundamental set of beliefs and practices generally agreed upon by a number of persons or sects
2. The body of persons adhering to a particular set of beliefs and practice.
According to the definitions above, Evolutionism qualifies as a religion.
Evolutionism is a religious cult just like any other! The cult is complete with its own deity,..
realamarica 1 year ago
@KingR3aper ...which is of course the "Evolution god" (which is capable of anything), and high priests in positions of power - the evolution scientists. These priests have special "knowledge" and "understanding" that the rest of us don't have, and secretive language which the rest of us don't understand.
We must trust them because only they have the "education" and special intellect and knowledge to understand the "deep secrets" of the religion ("scientific" knowledge). (contd)
realamarica 1 year ago
@KingR3aper ... It has whole armies of "teachers" in every school indoctrinating the children of the world to believe "the truth" of evolution. It has evangelists who write books and go about converting people to their religious beliefs about the origin of man.
If you talk to evolutionists enough you will hear phrases like, "Diversity is no problem for Evolution". Do you see how they deify Evolution? Evidently Evolution is all-powerful, since nothing is too hard for it to accomplish. (contd)
realamarica 1 year ago
@KingR3aper ...After all, the entire Universe and all life on this planet evolved from nothing! How is their all-powerful god different than the all-powerful God of the Bible? Do you see?
But unlike other religious cults, this religion has a monopoly, much like the Catholic church did in Europe in centuries past. Its taxpayer funded and required educational subject matter by governments around the world. Not only does it fit the definition of a religion, it is a fundamentalist religion.
realamarica 1 year ago
@realamarica Evolution isn't a religion you dumbass, holy fuck. It didn't EVOLVE from "nothing".
If you took ANY science courses in your life, and spent ANY amount of time in a lab, you'd know how to create VERY simple primitive life from absolutely nothing. Just particles consuming each other.
Its backed by RESEARCH, not a fuckign book written thousands of years ago by some guy.
KingR3aper 1 year ago
@KingR3aper Its fundamentalist because they dogmatically hold that this Earth and the entire Universe created itself from nothing with no supreme being (God) involved, and that all elements "evolved" from hydrogen, and all life on Earth "evolved" from basic elements on this rock in a toxic atmosphere. We have no "spirit", so when we die - that's it! There is nothing more after that. You spend 40 years of your life accumulating as much wealth and possessions as you possibly can, ...(contd)
realamarica 1 year ago
@KingR3aper ...only to spend maybe 20 leisurely years in retirement, and after that - nothing! Do you really believe this? Are we only material beings in a material world with no purpose other than to perpetuate the species? Does anyone really believe that?
Can anyone really conceive of all of the matter in the entire GIGANTIC Universe compressed into a tiny ball smaller than a pin head? Where did all this matter come from in the first place? Did it come from nothing all by itself? (contd)
realamarica 1 year ago
@realamarica Yes, wow. See, you're so up in the "OMG WE'RE ALIVE WE MUST HAVE PURPOSE" give it a break, and just fucking LIVE.
KingR3aper 1 year ago
@realamarica and you probably think the big bang was a friggin explosion.
And yes it IS possible, its called a black hole, which is another theory of the big bang.
When a black hole absorbs more mass and continues to give out a shittonna radiation, eventually it explodes. A theory is that the "pinhead" was a gigantic blackhole that swallowed too much.
Meaning it is very possible there was a before.
KingR3aper 1 year ago
@realamarica The reason you believe in this crap is because you HATE to think you have no purpose. You just can't humbly accept you're a homo sapien with a fantastically large brain in a beautiful world. Its not enough for you is it? You HAVE to have an afterlife and a purpose.
KingR3aper 1 year ago
@KingR3aper How does matter transform from "nothing" into matter?
Like all cults, evolutionists start you out with slow indoctrination, in fact when you are just a child!
Consider that when you die, and you will die, that evolutionist teacher isn't going to be standing next to you before God. This God gave you a brain to think for yourself. You are going to have to explain, all by yourself, why you ever believed such a silly religion over His Word, which is backed up...(contd)
realamarica 1 year ago
@realamarica ...What? What the hell does that mean? How the does matter transfrom from "nothing" into matter?
What are you talking about. Why would you even SAY that?
KingR3aper 1 year ago
@KingR3aper ... by clear archaeological and historical evidence.
Like all cults, Evolution is a powerful delusion. Ask anyone who was formerly under its power, and they will attest to this. The reason it has power is because there is spiritual power behind it. No delusion is devoid of spiritual power, for it is spiritual in nature.
Learn the truth about the entire phony theories of evolution and be free. Here are the two premises on which the various theories of evolution are based: (contd)
realamarica 1 year ago
@KingR3aper Formula 1. making a universe: Nothing + nothing = two elements + time = 92 natural elements + time = all physical laws and a completely structured universe of galaxies, systems, stars, planets, and moons orbiting in perfect balance and order.
Formula 2. making life: Dirt + water + time = living creatures.
Evolutionists theorize that the above two formulas can enable everything about us to make itself--with the exception of man-made things, such as automobiles or buildings.
realamarica 1 year ago
@realamarica WOW you absolutely have no idea wtf evolution is do you?
KingR3aper 1 year ago
@KingR3aper Complicated things, such as wooden boxes with nails in them, require thought, intelligence, and careful workmanship. But everything else about us in nature (such as hummingbirds and the human eye) is declared to be the result of accidental mishaps, random confusion, and time. You will not even need raw materials to begin with. They make themselves too.
Contrary to what evolutionists would like for you to believe, the theory of evolution is still just a theory, ...(contd)
realamarica 1 year ago
@KingR3aper ...and no one can scientifically prove the idea that anything has ever evolved from one particular "kind" into another.
Yes, we do see differences in species in different parts of the world, and mutations can occur. A mutation is not an adaptation, however, and mutations generally harm or kill the thing that is mutated.
A species can actually adapt to an adverse environment and change to survive, and that adaptation can happen relatively fast (a lot faster ... (contd)
realamarica 1 year ago
@realamarica ..NO absolutely not, thats not how it works.
KingR3aper 1 year ago
@KingR3aper ....than was assumed to support the evolution theory) as shown by experiments conducted by scientists around the world in recent years. But, no one has ever shown that a species can actually change into another species even in the tiniest way. Evolution is a belief, not a science.
The previous point (speed of adaptation), however, simply adds to the argument against evolution since there are so many things about human beings that don’t fit into this mold at all. (contd)
realamarica 1 year ago
@KingR3aper ...For instance, if we’ve evolved over billions of years on this planet; why can’t we see at night since we’ve spent half of those billions of years in the dark? Why are cats and relatively few other species the only one's endowed with this ability? And why does the sun burn us when we’ve spent half of those billions of years in the sun? Why haven’t we developed any protection from darkness and the suns rays or even moderate temperature changes?
(contd)
realamarica 1 year ago
@realamarica .....BECAUSE THATS NOT HOW IT WORKS YOU RETARD
KingR3aper 1 year ago
@KingR3aper We haven’t had homes and desk jobs long enough to make the difference.
We spent our time outside in the elements working our fields for food or hunting, etc. If evolution were a fact, we’d have much more adapted bodies to the environment we live in. Have our minds made us so superior to animals that we no longer have the strength of animals or need hairy bodies and thick skin to protect us from cold, or fangs to tear the meat from our prey? And our natural ability ... (contd)
realamarica 1 year ago
@realamarica dude, shut up. You've just shown to me you have absolutely no idea wtf evolution is. The more you continue, the more unbelievably uneducated I realize you are.
KingR3aper 1 year ago
@KingR3aper ... to outsmart everything has made it so we don’t need any of those things? Hello???
Everything we know about human history is about warfare and competition and being bigger and stronger than our neighbour. We don’t have weaker muscles than animals because we don’t use them; we have these bodies because this is the way God made us. He separated us from the animals in many ways.
The common theory states that there was matter and energy, already in existence, ...(contd)
realamarica 1 year ago
@KingR3aper ...that exploded 15 billion years ago and has expanded into the present state of the universe. That basic science means that if I take the bicycle out in my garage and leave it sitting around and expose it to energy for 15 billion years it could turn into a living, breathing, ferocious tiger! Pretty stupid, huh? But that’s really what they’re trying to sell us, minus all the unproven “scientific evidence” that they say they have. Hard matter and energy ... (contd)

@realamarica ...Jesus christ, I sent you a message answering all your friggin retarded misguided questions.
KingR3aper 1 year ago
@KingR3aper No, you sent me what you have been brainwashed into believing. Do some research for "dinosaurs in current archeology", "biblical archeolgy latest discoveries", "dead sea scrolls and proof of the Bible", "Is Evolution a fraud?", "Have We been lied to about Evolution?"
Don't just search withing the field of those who have been perpetrating this great deception.
Stop being a part of the lie and think for yourself.
realamarica 1 year ago
@realamarica wow, no, you're going to go read it, Because whatever YOU think evolution is, is completely wrong.
That is not how it works at all.
You don't grow a fucking bigger right arm because you keep using your right arm for half a damn century.
Your SONS won't grow a bigger arm if you use that arm a lot.
Thats not how it bloody works, and I think you should at LEAST learn what the hell evolution is before going off about it and know absolutely nothing about it.
KingR3aper 1 year ago
@realamarica Do you know what pseudoscience is? Because you're watching it.
KingR3aper 1 year ago
@realamarica EVERYTHING and I mean EVERYTHING you've JUST told me, shows how HORRIBLY misguided you are about what evolution is.
The fact you think we would have more adapted bodies because of constant hunting, and and outdoorsmanship is completely laughable. If YOUR form of "evolution" were a fact, then yes we WOULD be more adapted.
No, you don't know what it is. So I want you to take your time, read my message about what it IS.
Because I'll repeat. you don't know what it is.
KingR3aper 1 year ago
@realamarica So no, we're NOT more adapted because of constant hunting and gathering and outdoors because YOUR verison of "Evolution" doesn't EXIST.
KingR3aper 1 year ago
@KingR3aper ...somehow turned into biological life? And how do we explain the fallacy that two co-existing elements that can't live without each other (proteins and nucleic acids) spontaneously came into being at the same time? How far from logic do we have to turn in order to allow this to slip by our theories? Evolution is a belief, not a science.
It actually takes more faith to believe in evolution than it does to believe in Creation!
But you will have to unbrainwash to understand.
realamarica 1 year ago
@hexkid The first thing that should be mentioned is that Luke very carefully wrote that this was the first census. So there was another one, probably one well-known and Luke wants to distinguish this taxing from that one everyone knew about. And there was indeed a second taxing, a very well-known one, mentioned by Josephus in the Antiquities and the Jewish Wars (Book 2, Chapter 8 and 17). This census was taken in 6 AD by Quirinius, a figure well attested in historical records. (contd)
realamarica 1 year ago
@hexkid Quirinius and Cyrenius are the same person (Cyrenius is a badly chosen translation from Greek, which is just the Greek spelling for the Roman name). The census of 6 AD almost led to open revolt and was the impetus for founding the party of the Zealots. The founder of the party, Judas the Galilean, and this second taxing is mentioned by Luke in Acts 5:37. The word for governor would have been legatus. The governors in Syria were Sentius Saturninus from 9 to 6 BC, (contd)
realamarica 1 year ago
@hexkid ...and after that Publius Quintilius Varus until at least April 4 BC. Between 4 and 1 BC it is not known who governed Syria. So Quirinius could have been governor de jure in the transition from Saturnius to Varus or perhaps after.
Luke shows himself to be such a careful historian throughout both his Gospel and the Acts of the Apostles, his other historical work. He also wrote during a time when others had access to the information and did not refute him.
realamarica 1 year ago
@realamarica Good to see that you have gained all of your knowledge of Roman Senators of Syria from Wikipedia but the statement you made is not quite complete.
There is some historical disagreement over exactly who was Senator between 4 & 1BC, but the majority of historians (based on the records of Tacitus & the Lapis Tiburtinus) believe it was Lucius Calpurnius Piso however others believe that Piso had a short governership and was then replaced by Varus in 3BC for a 2nd term.
hexkid 1 year ago
@realamarica One thing that the historical record is clear on though is that Quirinius was not in the region during the disputed period as he was fighting the Homonadenses in the mountainous area of Eastern Turkey. There is no way that Augustus would have sent a successful general in the middle of a campaign to organise a census and there is no historical evidence to support this leap of imagination.
