@Derinfrekans Totally true! The most terrifying is RE1 and the one with best gameplay is RE3 (quick turns and avoidances). RE2 has a very good balance of storyline and puzzles, but all puzzles of the trilogy are fine (like the music box and water sample puzzles of RE3)! RE4 and 5 and the spin-offs are action games, not survival horror anymore!

@bankaiichigo13 What I didn't like about these trailers is that they imply that the events in RE5 are even more traumatic and terrifying than the Mansion ordeal, since even big bad Chris is scarred from it. I thought part of the whole "Resident Evil" story was that the Mansion incident was supposed to be THE event that no one can ever forget because it was the scariest thing they ever went though?

I know these commercials bugged me too, Chris even went onto a zombie infected island, saw the man he thought had died(wesker), and rescued his sister. Why would this even matter, these people were walking parasites, and he got his best mate(jill) back whom he thought had died, plus he killed Wesker.
