  • This video is weak. Mount your camera somewhere else.

  • Man! Why is it that you chaps can pronounce the "T" in words that start with start with "t", but you leave it out when it is in the middle or the end of a word? It is very annoying! I.e. you pronounce shooting as shoo-ing, sporting as spor-ing, etc. Why do you discriminate against the "T"s. Weird!

  • Nice decoy, I was told a regular mojo duck would work.

  • quand tu les tir a 10 metres tu loupe a chaque fois tiree poser ces une honte degouter salut le boucher

  • tu les tir a 5 metre

  • Hello

Hunting was wonderful to me that you let me know What kind of camera used in photography? And where to find it? How much the price in dollars? I want to buy one of them please

  • @Gazwan2 Hi you cant buy one im afraid it is a closely guarded trade secret which took me years to design and perfect.

  • ok thanks anyway

  • Hi, it is a trade secret sorry,

  • hi great vid what camera do you use?

  • i like you my man!!!!!

  • @ duckster18 .....as a up coming gamekeeper pigeons are vermin and should be treated as that they destroy crops in days making farmers loose money so by shooting them at anycost is helpin them and also we can eat them so its a win win situation, if you like sport you can put your "tight choke" and ur 50yard shooting and go to a clay ground.

    Many thanks tom.

  • Hi wood pigeon taste a bit like liver, they are quite a strong taste, we have rock doves and stock doves over here very much like your rock pigeons i would imagine but they are protected. So cant comment on there tatse.

  • Great video! We just have rock pigeons here in Iowa. They make for great eating! Many people call them vermin, but grain fed pigeon is very good! How do woodpigeon taste? And have you eaten rock pigeon?

  • Its a sad fact of life people like you with a low iq who are self opinionated always degenerate into personal abuse because you do not have the intelligence to form a sensible discussion and you hold a high oppinion of yourselves. This is evident from the i dont like you i wont let you be in my gang infintile type approach you have to others and life. As an ambassador for us all on the tele you would be great personally insulting the oppostion and stamping your feet in tantrum.

  • why shoot them on the floor whats the sport in that if u wanna do it like that why not get a air gun? shot um properly

  • read what i have already said below and actually think about what i am saying.

  • Hi big bags has nothing to do with it it is pigeon shooting for crop protection simple as that. Pigeon shooting has nothing to do with sporting shooting yes they are a superbly agile quarry and provide a fantastic shooting target, but at the end of the day they are an aggricultural pest and are shot under general licence for that very reason. When people start saying thats not sporting they are missing the whole point and doing the antis job for them, wheres the argumnet shooting just for sport.

  • Hi i like the title may well use that in that the future very catchy, the camera is a trade secret sorry.

  • @shootmorepigeons I don't mean to be rude but i'm a shooter from the south of England, it just looked like they was a bit close and shooting them when they have landed is very unsporting, people that shoot them on the ground just want to claim they got a big bag. Thats my opinion

  • Should just call this vid 'A day in the life of a shotgun' :) great footage what camera do you use?

  • Hi, it is a pietta mistral 3 semi auto 12g 28 inch barrel.

  • what type of gun are u using ?

  • die pigeons die :D

  • @shootmorepigeons what camera mount do u use

  • Hi

Thanks for the nice comment but i spent a couple of years developing a camera system and it is a trade secret.

  • Hi my friend,

Very nice video. What camera are you using? I am interesting of buying one for my gun but at the most of them, the target are not visible. I saw that even at long distances the birds are visible.

  • England has the greatest wood pigeon shooting in the world, they simply like our countryside. If i were you i would book some woodie shooting over here and have a very nice shooting holiday. I went out yesterday and shot 104 pigeons, that is not normal but at harvest time the pigeon shooting can be awesome. If you do book a shooting break over here choose this time of year when the fields have just been cut and you will maximise your chance of a big bag. Hope the 21st brings good hunting.

  • very nice darren, but you have so many birds in england and so many fields to put your decoys.i am from cyprus and unfortunately the hunters are much more than the pigeons!!! the hunting season here starts on 21st of august and i will be very glad if i shoot 2 birds!!!funny isnt it???????

  • awesome movie !

thanks for that great moment of fun !

  • Hi, Thankyou for the vote of confidence and i am glad you like the vids. Very soon i am starting a whole series on pigeon shooting with a new pigeon shooter and we will be starting at the beginning and working our way to very advanced tactics. This will be covered in full on our website shootingandmore so keep an eye open and happy shooting.

    Darren

  • Hi Darren. I have recently discovered your shooting clips on the tube and to say that i'm impressed is an understatement. I am especially interested in your pigeon shooting videos , as i have recently taken up this sport myself. Over the last few months i have been accumulating most of the gear that a pigeon shooter would need. I have even treated myself to a brand new Winchester SX3 autoloader for my 50th birthday. All i need to do now is find an expert like yourself to show me the ropes .

  • Hi, Thanks for the comment and yes you are so right, you dont need decoys at 30 to 40 yds and it is not a level of your shooting skill or decoying skill quite the opposite. As i am repeatedly saying the closer you can decoy them the better for killing and the better your decoying art.

    Thanks again and happy shooting

  • Hi at last a video with no screaming music, good camara work . and a bloke who knows what he is doing / talking about, I have been shooting pidgeons for 30+ yrs on and off and you dont need deeks @ 30/40 yrds, this video was very refreshing, to coin a frase this video is a diamond in the rough.:) keep up the good work. PS. Did you ever say (morning to some cows that did not reply ??) lol.

  • @goldilx1

What a stupid and ignorant comment. I bet you have absolutely no idea why we shoot woodpigeons. I will give you a little insight. Woodpigeons are listed as a serious agricultural pest and cause tens of millions of pounds worth of damage to crops every year. Farmers lose lots of money because of this problem and people like us who shoot pigeons are helping the farmer. We are simply helping to control the situation. You should do some research into a subject before commenting on it.

  • I don't seem to have a problem with other stubbles. Just pea or bean stubbles. I understand what you're saying about the pigeons finding more favourable fields closer to their roost, but why at harvest and not before? Anyway, at least it's now drilling time and I hope to get some good bags to make up for the poor winter. I may ask you for some more tips as the year progresses. Cheers and keep posting the vids to keep us inspired!

  • Thanks for the response. For example, I had bags of 144 and 124 on the same pea field last year and a mixture a decent bags on surrounding fields. However, once they were harvested, the pigeons were nowhere to be seen! It was like they just vanished! I even had a look a few days after some rain, as I was told this is a good time, as the spilt peas start to chit again. Where I shoot, there are fenominal amounts of pigeons and it can be fantastic shooting, or frustratingly bad. To be continued....

  • Hi, i would be surprised not to get good pigeon shooting on the stubble if it has been good on the crop, having said that you dont mention how good your pigeon shooting is on the fields in question before they are cut, i would suspect if there are no birds on these feilds once harvested they are feeding on more favoured fields close by, probably closer to there roost so they do not have to fly as far for the same food source. Stubble shooting is great pigeons love the freedom of stubble.

  • Great video! Much needed as I too have been suffering from the 'winter blues' with my pigeon shooting. Looks like you had a fantastic day over that stubble.

I have been pigeon shooting for 8 years and have had to learn everything myself as I am the only shooter in my family.

I have had shooting over peas for the last 5 years and when it comes to the stubbles, I have had no luck at all (no pigeons seen) and the same with bean stubble. Any ideas?I have varied the time of day for reconnaissance.
