Since the game takes place between MGS2 and MGS4, there may be a possible chance Snake may be playable (For a very short time), much like MGS2. If he's not playable for that short time, they should AT LEAST have him in a cutscene though. I was kinda hoping Rising is gonna be like MGS4 where you get to pick up guns enemies drop. I'm gonna get tired of slicing and dicing everyone.

Honestly though, I don't really get how one would be able to do nice slices in the heat of combat, and it really won't be the same without snake since part of the name of the series is Solid.
