I have tried Windows Movie Maker 6 for Windows Vista. But I do not like it as it is a clone of Windows Live Movie Maker. And like Windows Live Movie Maker,it is not user friendly. I have got Windows Movie Maker 2.6 on my Windows 7,which is the same as the Windows XP version. And that is the best one to get. Andrea Borman.

I have got Windows Movie Maker 2.6.Which, like Windows Movie Maker 6, is for Windows Vista but works on Windows 7. But 2.6 is the same as 2.1, the version I have on my Windows XP Netbook. I do not like Movie Maker 6 at all. Andrea Borman.

yes....i have downloaded it but its dont work...but i instaled windows vista (64) on an other hdd and copy the folder to my windows 7 (64) and its works...

i would make an new info in my video that you upload the 32bit version and that its only work on 32bit systems....for 64bit you need the 64bit version too;-)

@MW2HackHero well i really hate to tell you this but its either your virsion of windows 7 OR you "graphics card" is incompatible with movie maker and windows 7 combo, or you graphics card is just shitting on you message me for more info.

ok, i found out the problem. there should be a folder called profiles in the shared folder. then it will let you import stuff. but i found another one that works anyway so...

I managed to get the vista version of moviemaker on my desktop computer by getting the Movie Maker folder from Program Files on my laptop (laptop has vista). But when I open movie maker on my desktop computer it doesn't read any of the videos that I import. Can someone please help me with this?
