when I try to preview my movie, I press play on the time line, and in the preview movie box in the top right corner it's really glitchy. The sound is smooth, but the video plays frames and only changes them every second or so. Is that normal, or is it just glitching?

@IredaleGirl i had the same problem - its because of your computer. i dont know the english word for it - in german its "arbeitsspeicher" maybe "workspace"?!?! i dont know - anyway - it could be because of that

hmmm... click on the part where you want the flash - press the key "s" (it splits your clip in 2) and then just drag & drop the flash transition between those 2 clips - thats how i do it :] if its not working - send me a message :]

sometimes its not the right "format" like for exaple .avi or stuff like that. then you need to convert it. you can download for example the program "super" :) just try it -if you need more help just ask

Hey, I'm new to SVMS 9. And I was wondering how do I get the audio from my video clip in to the editor? I place the video clip in the video-track, no sound. If I put a music-file in the audio-track, there is sound (from the music file). I just want to get the original sound from my video-clip.

hey :] try this: import the video to your projektmedia - then right click on it - click on "open in trimmer" or something like that - its either trimmer or editor lol. then mark the area you want to have the sound from - and then right click on the marked area - click "only audio" - again right click - "copy" and then just paste the copied file on an audiotrack :] hope you understand - if not - let me know

try it like this: click on "transitions" and click on the subcategorie"flash" you just have to split the clip into smaller ones where you want to have the "flash" and drag & drop the transition inbetween the two clips

click on "insert" - "Video Envelopes" - "Event Velocity" :)

so you can speed up or slow down the clip :)

there will appear a "line" if you put it a little bit lower - your clip will slow down - if you put it up - it will speed up :D

okay - i hope you understand what i try to say :D

add the video to you projectMedia - after that - right mouse click on the video an click on "open in Trimmer" - with the "trimmer" you can select/mark the part of the video that you want - right mouse click - now you can choose wheter you want only the video, only audio or both - after you´ve chosen that - just drag & drop it on the video-/audiotrack that´s it :)
