  • 5 people need to Mea Culpa

  • cool

  • Awesome!!!!

  • incredible track...I knew I knew it from somewhere

  • This track makes me want to engage in some corporate espionage...

  • original after many years....

  • a meditation on the absence of self...

  • While every "classic rock" station across America keeps playing the same damn songs from Lynyrd Skynyrd and 38 Special, day after day, until you just want to punch babies, is inexplicable.

And why THIS music never gets played is truly a crime.

  • The image featured here is a truly inspired choice to go together with this brilliant track. Thank you GhostsInMyMind.

What an album! It's amazing that My Life in the Bush of Ghosts came out 30 long years ago. This was without a doubt a high water mark in the careers of both Byrne & Eno.

I have always loved this track, as well as "Regiment", "The Carrier", "America is Waiting", and "Help Me Somebody" -- all 5 of these are masterpiece tracks.

  • @ eliezerberry :

    Agree with you...

Eno is one of the most intuitive and versatile musician; and he used without problems Electronic instruments, and not in a "cold" way.

Well.. now Music is changed, but if we can speak about "ambient" (and its modern derivations)... for sure.. we can say thanks to him.

However.. some his work is a little "commercial", easy... but he remains one of the best composer.

Thanks to you for your nice and deep comment

    (and sorry for my english).

  • Spookelicious!

  • Why did you start this video with the claim that you are the author of this music?

  • @rfrakctured

You have some "understanding" problem.. maybe. I am the author of audio/video clip.

And As all can see, I publish always referents of any music of my channel.

  • Annoying. Maybe the end is better, but I couldn't listen that long.

  • I can feel it reprogramming my brain.

  • This album was released 30 years ago today. Wonderful stuff.

  • If I remember the liner notes to the album correctly, the voices were taken from a radio call-in show, with the caller being the higher voice and the lower being the show's host.

The whole album is worth a listen, most people either love it or hate it. For me, it's one of the most unique and listenable albums in my collection.

  • This song is in the Oliver Stone film Wall Street

  • @kubrick681 epic scene!!!

  • Soooo.... possibly the greatest LP ever, right?

  • @diskochimp Yah, Yah, way up there. completely unique and years ahead.

  • Always reminds me of Bud Fox following Sir Lawrence to the airport.

  • I love this music.... great image that bridge... goes with the music well.

  • Absolute genius.

  • Una obra maestra, formó parte d ela banda sonora de Wall Street. Genial.

  • for me, best song and video ...

  • I was not aware of this for around thirty years, but part of the Islamic last judgement mythology involves crossing a hazardous bridge where many will fall away. Learning of this after so long a time has not me any more (nor less) predisposed to driving a truck into your day care center, so no worries, anyone!

  • This is the sound of god. This is so utterly, utterly fantastic, I can hardly believe what I'm hearing and I've heard this track sooooo many times before. I think the bush of ghosts it still the greatest experimental music record of all time. For people who love this, check out the soundtrack called 'Songs from the Catherine Wheel' - Another Byrne and Eno masterpiece.

  • Always one of my faves from MLITBOG.

  • '81? Wow.

  • this record is a masterpiece

    influenced everything after

  • This record is a masterpiece. My fave of all times.

  • Beautiful

  • This must've heavily influenced Blue Man Group

  • Outstanding.

  • I love this song and I love your image of the bridge heading up into the heavens. Thanks for posting this. Can you tell me anything about that image? It's really quite evocative.

  • @0ldfinger

    Thanks.

( I dont know author because I downloaded it many time ago.

Btw.. if you want.. I have uploaded the original into:

    Ciao )

  • @GhostsInMyMind i was in manhattan with squat theatre and most everything was pushing the edge we listen to in music, later on ikonlclastic panzerism, basquait, braithewaite, etc, when it came through just fit so nice, great work, music for films (original) spoke volumes also

  • this is weird.

  • @ikewvshere depending which drugs you're on !!!I don't recommand it on weed if like me you have a tendancy to badtrip and get paranoid with pot; But ... Let me know onwhich one it actually did work for you ! Good night America ! Paris hasn't slept yet !.... Good luck

  • @ikewvshere Delightfully so.

  • My favourite collaboration tune from those two...like to see a live version of this great tune

  • @poodius7 Me too. We can only hope they taped themselves while making this stuff, and will release it for hardcores. I'm mean, some time in a future that will never exist.
