The beginning of this film shows the beauty of Morgantown and the WVU campus. This is only a town of about 35,000. It was a pleasure and an honor in attending that campus. It is truly a small town campus that is competing with spawling urban campuses thoughout the country. It is even difficult for this short film to capture the essence of what it has meant to this small city to have such a great team represent them in three major bowl victories in three staight years. Rich fraud got exactly what he wanted with a large salary and an 0-2 team. If Rod had coached during the Fiesta Bowl, he would have sold out again to the big money and WVU would have lost for the 3rd time in the 2007 season. WVU athletics appreciates the work he did and Bill Stewart never had a bad word to say about his former head coach. It is time that pregame speech for the rest of the season be the same as it was for the Fiesta Bowl. That game started slow but ended up with fireworks.

What a pathetic little mind some people have! This is an excellent production for the WVU Mountaineers before their last RR season. Culminating in the best Bowl game ever played by a WVU team, the Mountaineers truly showed that they were supermen in beating one of the best teams in college football 48-28. When 84% of the football fans in this country believed that WVU would lose by 3 tds and to have Steve Slaton play a minor role is a real tribute to a fine program and an even finer state.

hummm! so WVU settled on bill stewart, over the emotion of the fiesta bowl win. maybe a mistake? only time will tell. first of all, it was calvin mcgee play calling that won the game ...he"s gone.. second WVU did sneak up on OU, OU severly underestmated WVU and payed for it. and stewart better realize that any thing less than 10 win seasons is unexceptable at WVU now. the good people of WV dont deserve another don nehlen type coach, setting losing records and making excuses for it.

ok, with all due respect, WVU didn't just "settle" on stewart. he is exactly the type coach they need right now, with his coaching style, experience, and his personable nature, he will be the glue that holds them together through this transition. in addition, he has added tremendous coaches to his staff to aid him in all areas, from recruiting, defense, and offense. i don't think WVU will miss a beat.

also, nehlen didn't "set losing records". his teams posted 8, 9 ,10 win seasons regularly and he played for 2 national championships in his time, something rrod couldn't do. in addition, he was a man of character and principles, also an area rrod falls short.

don nehlen did not fuckin play for a national championship, in 1988 they were looking at the miami game as the national championship game. but since the irish went undefeated and stomped don nehlen in the feista bowl,so they gave it to notre dame. and in 1993 it was florida st all the way for the title and they got it. they dident even look at florida vs wvu in the sugar bowl as the title game. not that it mattered much anyway because the gators blew his ass out by 40 pts. long live rod

The commentators and the on-screen words were that "this is the national championship game" Miami lost(on a bad call) to Notre Dame,who went undefeated, and WVU, undefeated, had they won, would have been the National Champions. Nehlen was ahead of his time in strengh training, developing players, and when did RRod go undefeated?

No worries about USF thay are a ture SPEED team, The speed holy area for football. Speed works, But WVU is a mix of speed and power, and it after the frist 30 miutes of getting planted 3 inches in the dirt USF will start to give, and the lack of depth in thear team will show.
