I love the deftones covers just as much as their own stuff, some even more! Sounds crazy, but wow some of them are just amazing. Sure, Around the Fur, White Pony, Adrenaline and (IMO) even the latest albums are good (not as good though). But... the B-sides album and their covers of Duran Duran and such are just amazing. Chino does a great justice to the music that inspired him to begin with. His voice transcends spiritual planes, kinda like Maynard from Tool/APC

I really like this, but if you want to hear a really good "Depeche Mode" cover check out "Rammsteins" version of the song "Stripped" it is very Kool especially from the Volkerball concert or even the version from the "300 movie" very well done, both of these are on youtube.

Know what I hate? I'm HUGE into post- hardcore (glassjaw, handsome, armsbendback, quicksand) Deftones is my fav. Have been since middle school. Other than my friend who took me to see them a while back, I didn't know ONE Deftones fan in my entire high school, there were haters though. Now that Resident Evil 5 came out and this songs in it, stoner jocks and their girls hear this song, all the RE nerds hear it, and all the sudden, they're fans?
