Yarro needs light and your porch may be too shaded? It needs to drain well so maybe some rocks in the bottom? Maybe put a piece of Hematite and Quartz in too. Your alter is very fresh and pretty.
Absolutely beautiful! I can't believe this is your very first YT video--I LOVE the altar setup you had. Looking forward to seeing what you do this year. Lots and lots of love to you--we haven't talked in awhile, but I hope all is well. ((Hugs))
I was searching for midsummer celebrations and bumped across your vid. I follow a path where to solar deities are my main matron and patron, so I am VERY excited about the upcoming Solstice. A beautiful altar, and it's wonderful how, although you live in a city dwelling, you have brought nature right to your deck.
Thank you. Though I'm not currently living there I do plan on making something at my new place. My new fiancé is also pagan and I'm so happy to have someone to share it with now.
I know it's late, but is your yarrow getting enough light? Did you add plant food to your herbs? (They need to eat, too, just like us!) Also, no matter what plant I bought from Earl may has died, and didn't thrive in the least. So, caveat emptor! But, I'd like to know HOW you were able to grow anything in terracotta pots?! I tried that a couple years ago, and they just sucked ALL the moisture out of the soil every single time, which gave me the WORSE luck at keeping anything alive!!!
Yay for moving to St. Louis! Now you 'know' someone here! We have a good sized Pagan community here and every June we have the St. Louis Pagan Picnic. You'll love it!
OOHhh! its so pretty! this year i found that i am saddly unprepared for this holiday, lol! couldn't find my orange altar cloth, my sun(god) painting was locked in the depths of storage, along with anything else i could use, no orange or yellow candles...plus with fathers day in the mix...SO! i did some faerie things and decided that just looking at your altar (and others) would suffice! honored in my head, lol!
Thank you. Funny thing about the tree is..I was wishing that I had some part of that tree for my altar. I went back in the house to prepare dinner and I came back out and there was a piece of that Oak tree on the porch. It wasn't there before. So I guess the Fae were listening.
Um... your thyme is really either basil or oregano. Thyme is a wandering type plant. Lovely altar though! This year I'll be setting one up.
