I'm w/ everyone else...keep workin' at the singing & you could improve. However, if you feel it's not your thing/could careless, you could do minor backing vox if you had a band. you're not the worst ! you should definitely stick w/ guitar though. the guitars pretty accurate.

decent job on the guitar. your voice isnt bad, you're just not hitting a fair few of the notes & you aren't projecting very powerfully at all. singing lessons would tidy that up a lot, seriously, stick with it you'll get there mate

When you say "you were supposed", it's because it was bad listening to me doing it in high pitch or because the original one is on lower pitch? ;D

Cause I normally mix acoustic with studio versions when I make my version, which would explain the high pitch in my acoustic version, while Dave uses lower pitch on his'.

When I do my covers, I try to make as near as possible as the original.. But, as you just saw, it doesn't work always.

You mentioned in your description of this vid that it's one of the worst covers you've done... Actually man, it's not bad at all... There are a few little blunders, but it's very apparent that you have a really good understanding of the song, and you did a great job of summing up both the lead and rhythm guitar parts up into a single acoustic part (and on a classical at that...) I'm the lead guitarist in a Foo Fighters tribute band, so I know how tough these songs can be... Sounds really good!!!

I think that, from all the comments that I've received 'till today, yours was the one that made me feel more proud about the "kind" of covers I make.

When I cover a song, I try to take the parts that I appreciate from acoustic, studio and live versions of the songs to, then, create a "new own version" of it. Ok, it isn't always that my versions of the song sound as good as the original ones, but, oh well, it's my very own way of covering, and it would be good if all understand.
