Sad news on the FareScape front! Jim Henson's creature shop has closed their doors for good. After several years of no work and short films based on the Muppets, Brian Henson has said that there is no place for animatronics in entertainment and that the CGI market is cornered, so he made the tough choice of borrowing more money for the company or walking away while he has a legacy to be proud of. Henson said that FareScape, The Muppets, AND all future plans are cancled until rediscovered.

@ginko27 After two hours of searching I have found NO news of this online. Please site your sources for this information, or else I will have to suspect that it isn't true. Also, the Jim Henson's Creature Shop most definitely has had work recently, like the "Where the Wild Things Are" movie, for example. They will also be active in the new Fraggle Rock movie of 2012, which is NOT going to be rendered in 3D. If I am incorrect about the Shop not closing, please list your sources. Thank you.
