@heuykiller i've left mine flake tbk. there are specialist products available but krylon is good enough as Heuykiller rightly said, just spray it in thin coats, the first few may only "tint" the metal but thats good, just build it up slowly, you get a good finish then

@bloodykillar GO get yourself a PDI precision barrel and another TM 1911 hop up chamber. Most of the upper are compatible with Tokyo Marui, more likely to be the barrel.

@MistroJoe its a barrel with spiraled grovves cut into the inside to get an even air pocket around the BB, the BB doesnt actually bounce as much as it would down the barrel, and i have found that this and a recent V hop have given this silly range for the power and wieght of BB

I've been using this pistol for quite a while now. This gun has a good range once the hopup is fully adjusted correctly. The full metal sounds great and the gun is very loud. One thing is great about this pistol is the strong blowback.

the camera i was using was an old kodak still, and the noise unfortunatly deadned the mic. if you listen to the volume of the hammer when i'm trying to fire it before i load the chamber and listyen after you'll see

there is no such thing as a silencer in airsoft. lol there no such thing as a silencer in real guns either. 95% of airsoft guns the noise comes from the inner motor so....and in real steel. silencers dont really silence. there just noise dampen.

I have 2 friends who has a 1911s ones a marui full metal custom and the other is a WE the WE version can't take marui mags due to the lower receiver (grip) is oddly bigger than the marui,and WE mags will not fit in the marui However The complete slide and barrel are completely compatable as well as other parts as slide catch, hammer etc.

other differences are the metal hop up unit that holds the inner barrel, on the marui inner barrel has a rod which holds the spring guide the WE doesn't

i have 3 mags and 2 have broke, the baseplate under the spring just snapped off, the little knub sticking out of the bottom just snaps off, I believe the metal gets brittle when the mag is full of gas because of the cold

I have never done anything with it besides keep it in a real gun case and shoot it in my drive way, idk but they broke.

KWA's are great bits of kit and the plastic frames are better on the colder days (winter use i resort to an NBB P99 tbh). as far as the WE goes its much simpler inside if anything goes wrong and upgradability is high due to sharing its guts with the TM design, but the mags are thin and run on high flow valves so sometimes doesnt have the pressure or volume on cooler days. WE do a P14-45 replica now which uses thier Hi-Capa magazines. The bigger mag will help the gun operate 100% to the end.

30 on a good day, but the magazine holds 15, its best to top up the gas incase when reloading the magazine.

Have you had any problems with the slide locking back whan its empty cuz mine doesnt lock back what gas is best to use in it

often its a case of the user forgetting to clean the shaft of the slide stop lever.

field strip the gun and give the shaft of the lever a good wipe with a silicon cloth and then a clean cloth, do a similar process with the holes the shaft runs through with a cotton bud or two, then re grease and rebuild.

it may be worth a check that the very end of the lever (the face that makes contact with the spring loaded nub above the left hand side handgrip) isn't to rough from the casting process.

on 2 of the three of mine I had to run a french file over the end to smooth it off,

BUT BE CAREFUL NOT TO FILE THE LIP THAT SITS UNDER NEATH THE NUB.

don't forget to relax the springs of the magazines, don't leave the magazines loaded with ammo over a period of time, this can weaken the spring. also be sure not to snap off the follower of the magazine.
