  • Topspeed?

  • @uberprogamerdavid 240 on straight road. 250 on slight downhill but takes time to gain speed over 220-230

    1pH9HkEDVss

  • @dimzan thank you for let me know this. what do you mean by WOT, woman on top? suzuki and yoshimura were meant together....

  • nice video :)

  • very impresive trotl response

  • eny sproket change...?

  • @15zulex no, stock drivetrain

  • i have this bike, i find when i accelerate hard in 1st gear, i have to give it quite a firm push for it to go in to second and it makes quite strange sound, if i drive the bike hard in 1st and just push up genetly it feels like the gears just grind and it goes in to neutral, any1 else find this??

or am i just shifting in some weird way...?

  • @richbayly i guess the sound is like a "gap". It is usual. I guess you let the throttle to 0% when changing gear, and that is why this "gap" happens. This is more aggressive at high RPMs. Try putting on some throttle when changing gear at high rpms (like 10-20%) and try goind from 1 to 2 immediatly rather than 1->N->2

  • Got a k7 650 bandit aswell awsome bike. Some very nice shifting there mate especialy at the start :P

  • definitly more performant than mine...

but, well, having the 2005 model with the old engine and without electronic injection i can't complain anyway...

  • @erto1986 i ve driven the 2005 model as well. It's 20kilos lighter plus it is less complex because it doesnt have electronics. Not bad, but i still prefer the new one :D

  • @dimzan

well, I'm sure you do, especially on the rainy days when you don't have problems when starting it...

I havent never tried the new version and I'm just curious...

    are the performances lot better?

I mean, i got an aftermarket exhaust too, but the acceleration shown in your video is way over what I got with my bandit '05.

you got any other modification other than the yoshi?

if not, well, suzuki must have done an hell of improvement on the bike...

  • @erto1986 i have a k&n filter as well, and i guess the yoshimura map in the ecu. I m not sure about it because i bought it second hand. Also the filter box is cut so that more air comes with less effort through the filter.

Your model uses carbs, so it is harder to tune. Just putting an exhaust isnt enough because you have to tune the carbs. If you dont do that you might be slower than a stock model, or lose top speed. Injection models use lambda sensor to correct mixture

  • @dimzan

yeah, secon hand bike for me too...

    thanks for the info anyway...

guess that i will have to spend some time trying and tuning the carb after I'll by a new devil exhaust to replace my arrow...

  • @dimzan how do you shift so nice?

  • @sh4k3r just practice . i like motorbikes a lot

  • Hey, i drive a bandit 650 too, but i had to restrict it to 34 horse power because of the laws in germany here. so i wonder if the yoshimurra exhaust give you any additional power or will mine accelerate just like yours when its unrestricted? :)

  • @shebbinho yoshimura just gives 2-3hp plus better breathe at high rpm. If you put a power comander you might get a gain of 5-6hp.

You will stil be slower than hornets or fazers.

Main reason to change bandit's original exhaust is because it is huge and heavy.

  • @dimzan I agree, the stock exhaust is just horrible !

  • @shebbinho I've been running my bandit on 34cv for 1year and a half now too :( Still have to wait half a year, or unplug the right wire ...

  • @shebbinho

    The answer is No !

But depending on wich type of bandit 650 you have , You can put is back on full power !

Bandit 650 (2005 - 2006) You need to adjust the carbu's , so your engine will get more fuell !

The bandit 650 (2007 and up) is injection-type and then is a little more difficult !

Or its just cutting a cable in your CDI !

Or you need a complete new chip(tuning)

  • é... essa band ta afiada viu

  • @vinibalanaagulha english please...?

  • @dimzan,

He means your bandit is quite sharp, in Portuguese. I'm thinking on getting a Bandit too, but in Brazil the price is at about USD 19 000... Great bike, though!

  • @cobraav thank you !

  • @cobraav Negativo...Uma Bandit 650S 2008 está cerca de 20.000 - 25.000Reais.

  • Unfortunately these speeds mean nothing to me as I work in mph.

  • @loganswell 100kmph = 60mph

    160kmph = 100mph

    200kmph = 120mph

  • @loganswell Learn how to convert then Buddy... Work with Km/h but have learnt to adjust to Mph... Its not that hard.
