Dude, I'll make you a promise: I'll read more mythology, and you take a course on how to take a joke. You're a preacher, and it still doesn't change the fact that Ani's lyrics are puerile, and great fiction is erudite.

You're complaining to me about being a preacher? Tell me, what the hell have you been doing on the past three Ani Videos I've watched and seen your name on the comments? All you do is preach about your Ani hatred. I'm just standing up to you because no one else seems to really in the mood to do so.

Also, if being an asshole for no particular reason is your way of making a joke then you need the comedy lessons. At least when Colbert is an asshole he is funny, you're just pathetic. I don't care that you dislike Ani. Everyone is entitled to their opinions though being a dumbass to everyone who likes her shows how much more puerile you are. So, calling someone more childish than you while acting rather childish is called being a hypocrite.

Sad, isn't it? You still have said why Ani's music is worth listening to (I have said why the opposite is true), and you obviously think you have what it takes to be a big shot like me. I don't complain on Fiona Videos and I respect people for liking her, she has her good moments. I actually own an album of hers though prefer Ani. Besides, you are the one calling me Homeschool. Wouldn't that be an "ignorant" word as well? Please, you are so filled with contradiction it's actually rather funny.

It's actually quite funny how you like fiona apple and respect her, yet are so riled up over Ani Difranco. Hmm, let's think logically for a second here. What are fiona apple's lyrics about? Oh yes, herself and her relationships. I like fiona apple, so this is nothing against her.

i'm not sure how anyone can call ani hackneyed or cliche, really. you don't have to like her music, but goodness. LOL you can't deny she's got an amazing voice and - IMHO - amazing lyrics.

If it's not your "cup of tea" why did you feel the need to comment? Also, you may wanna listen to the lyrics. You may think it's stupid but she is very innovative and has a great message... apparently you missed that and the ignorance and narrow-mindedness of people like you is what's making this country "kinda free". this song is actually not about 'the plight of the woman'. it's about being yourself regardless of how unacceptable anyone else might think it is - I think the video is great because she's just being herself - not trying to look or act like anyone or even give a big message - she's just being her
