  • THAT WILL TEACH YOU NOT TO WHIP PRIESTS! Great voice work, have your LRRA DVD Fantastic! Plan on anymore serial releases, what about colorization, now that would be an experiment!

  • The reason it doesn't sound like Clayton Moore is that it isn't. This was the original 15 chapter serial released in 1938. The Ranger's voice was done by Billy Bletcher, a "voice artist" who did the cartoon voice for Bluto, Popeye's arch enemy, as well as the Big Bad Wolf in the Three Little Pigs. Tonto was played by Victor Daniels (who billed himself as Chief Thundercloud). Both serials, thought to be lost, have been remastered for DVD release.

  • @TheFrontrowkid

This isn't the voices of the actors in the serial for most of the scene. The audio was lost for this scene and is recreated by modern actors. Personally, I would have preferred music and subtitles.

  • Memories.....I remember seeing this serial as a child of 5. There were 5 from whom you had to guess was The Lone Ranger.

  • Where can I purchase these rare movies of the original lone ranger?

  • That's not the lone rangers voice. From the 50s episodes, I know the lone rangers voice.

    Zorchalate Pass (elevation: 6 feet)

  • @Zorchalate Understand Zorchalate this is the original Lone Ranger before Clayton Moore and Jay Silverheels in the fifties. You must be very young.
