I don't like the way that the description describes this as an "unreasonable" birth plan. Perhaps the way she speaks to the OB is not quite the right way, however her requests are just normal requests that pro- natural child birth mothers want

@joonzgurl Well, it's unreasonable because she is clearly high-risk and is expecting to have a fluffy cloud birthing experience despite being high-risk.
They forgot to mention that she's a military wife, and therefore can't be fired from the military practice, and has nowhere else to go as she was fired from the only civilian practice in town..... :)
Love this...the Birth Plan is ridiculous!! Sadly people come into our L& D with these ridiculous expectations after a high risk delivery the first time!
Very interesting. Her Birth Plan doesn't seem so unreasonable to me. I loved the Dr. He certainly tried--and I loved that he was shocked that she wanted a circ!
@TheKipkoz Really? Not unreasonable? If she doesn't want things to be "medicalized" and doesn't think she'll be sick or that it will by dangerous, why doesn't she just have the baby at home by herself? Hmmmm...
Wanting to have the baby squatting on the toilet or in a bath tub.....Wtf? Fuck it, might as well have the baby while riding a motorcycle

WOW! I don't understand why someone would want to mutilate their baby's genitals after trying to keep everything else natural. Jeez!

I think the comments below missed the point!--the last thing she asked for is a CIRCUMCISION!!! It's IRONIC.
