The problem with youtube is flash. YouTube is going to use HTML 5 and should fix most of the problems. YouTube was also the first video site so there are a lot of bugs in the coding of the site. You might fix a bug and make another bug in the code.

I tell people if a video is not playing click on 360p and 99% of the time the video will stream with no problems.

I never experienced racism from Youtube staffers-but then I'm not uploading videos of myself on any of my channels & only one features a video relating to my work. So the color of my skin has never come up here. I do think 'we' have too often been taught that 'race' is the cause of even technical problems. Beliefs can often inform us erroneously.
