@MitchRench well... i think is not supposed because of the speaker cones, this bass still has the same low strings as a regular bass. But i guess youll have to get over it anyway. Sometimes you get very cool sounds mixing stuff that is not "supposed" to be mixed, or by ripping your speakers lol

@beeroosterm It's a 30" scale guitar that was made by Fender, using a similar body to the Jaguar. It is tuned to E an octave lower than a regular guitar. People mistakenly refer to it as a "baritone," but that's incorrect, since baritones are 27" scale and tuned to B. What it really is is a bass guitar in the truest sense. Pretty cool, huh?

That's how about long the neck is on this guy.. Regular guitar strings probably wouldn't even be long enough to fit. You need a special Bass VI set - Fender makes these, and so does another company called LaBella.
