this is still the perfect Spider-Man game for me. I'm sorry but it really is. between this and Spider-Man 2 the movie game u can literally B Spidey completly captured. I think they should remake this and the sequel and then follow up with a third installmetn: Spider-Man 3 Arachnaphobia
@227060 I don't know about Enter Electro...it wasn't as good plus Spider-man web of shadows is a follow up to the two spider-man games that are on the ps1, but it would be nice
@Ieat6pies R u sure about Web of Shadows being a follow up. there wasn't much to link it 2 the other games, it could pretty much b considered indep. No Enter Electro wasn't as good but it was still a good follow up plus a remake would give them the oppertunity to fix some fo the probs of the orig Enter Electro since it was mostly a gameplay issue and not the story or setting
@227060 yeah, its hard to notice but there are references to them plus its was Web of shadows was meant to 'shadow' (no pun intended) over those games because the first one on the ps1 and the n64 has not been yet out sold by any other spider-man game or a marvel based game for that matter

@Ieat6pies Well compared the orig the attacks,, even the ones which were the same as the old game (impact webbing, web dome etc) seemed kinda slow to react to the orig game. the graphics were improved tho, but there were 1 or 2 glitches eg more than once I swung in2 a building and found myself eternally falling
@Ieat6pies Ah man I couldn't b disappointed in the first movie, it was such a huge deal for me. The third 1 was a big disappointment, and I attribute at least half of that to it being ovr hyped before hand, but there were other reasons. I think the best moie was the second 1 but MY fav was the first thats cos, well it was the first time I got 2 c my hero on the big screen and it featured my all time FAV Spidey villain Norman Osborn the Green Goblin (no1 can touch him as a Spidey villain).
@Ieat6pies Romantacized? well...that a new 1 on me 4 SM3. I think it would've benefitted if harry had been the villain, beaten pete, Spidey would've gone in2 da blk costume, gone kinda evil, really hurt Harry then gotten rid of the costume and THEN we'd have had venom. No Sandman, altho he was the ebst villain in the film. I like 2 give comic book films a chance, I just look for respect as much as accuracy eg SM1 tho inaccurate was respectful, FF was both inaccurate and disrespectful
@227060 I try to give them a chance but I really want accurate portrayals when it comes to story, character, and etc. FF was just plain bad...Dr.Doom sucked.
@Ieat6pies Oh god yes, and whats worse is that the FF could ba a really good film I mean they r among the few comic book films which can legitimatly b PG-13 bcos they r generally less violent heroes than say Wolverine. I want accuracy as well but I've been happy in certain films, eg Batman, Dark Knight, Spider-Man. Watchmenw as probly the most accurate I've eva seen. Also comics can flesh out characetr ovr time while a film has 90+ mins, thus why comic cartoons tend 2 b more accurate
@Ieat6pies They did an animated feature for it and then intercut that with additional footage not shwon in theatres and released it on Watchmen the Ultimate edition. the animation is pretty accurate tot he original comic within a comic tho doesn quite capture the same symetary btwn the pirate story and the main story, at least not as well as in the real comic tho its still worth a watch. they also released a special mock interview to adapt the xtra material from Hollis Mason's book
@Ieat6pies If u don't have Watchmen at all on DVD get the Uncut Ultimate edition its worth the purchase, plus u get that mock documentary AND a motion comic of the orig Watchmen Graphic Novel. The cartoon is available separately tho if u already have the movie, its just called Tales of the Black Freighter DVD. I brought a cheap ass single disc edition of Watchmen at a gas station just so I could c it and then got the Ultimate ed on blu-ray wen it was released just 2 compare the differ
@henkman00 I f they made a remake or sequel to this game I'd want WAY more villains and costumes. in fact with the number of hours u can cram in2 a game these days they could do like history missions and let u play through some classic stories like his origin, death of Gwen Stacy, Kraven's Last Hunt etc
lol me and my cousin played all night and we got to the final boss which was mysterio then my ps1 fell off of my dresser and i had to restart the entire game over lol
thats only the 5 level doc oc is the last boss but really the last boss is monster oc which is when carnages symbiote combines with doc oc but its not really a boss cuz all you do is run through a very large vent for a while untill you reach the end where venom captain america and black cat are in an airplane and you jump in it or something
