cant agree more i say that Groundhandling is equally important than flying if not more important good launch=good flight. Groundhandling skills are used in the air for Active flying if you cant launch in these winds you shouldnt fly...
But give the dude a break, beginners are all like this. And furthermore there must be an instructor to tell him that was maybe (almsot sure) not the best time for his skills at the time.
Is the guy in the white shirt suppose to be an 'instructor' ? You did good considering if your in training, it could have been a LOT worse.....pity about the 'instructor' though....get a new one !!

Begnner....was to stressed to fly that just could not wait for the right moment :D

with some ground handling practice you can fully control the wing before you turn around and launch.
