Me and my best friend r google on this in may I am really nervous it's my first time riding it I am from central PA so I have been here SOO many time since I was a baby practically anyway any tips for some nervous first time riders? Lol

If you're from Central PA you don't have to have audio to know that as soon as you go in the tunnel everyone YELLS LIKE HELL! It's awesome!

pheonix is deff more smooth the twister beats the hell out of ya ya get a headache from it and them turns ya get your side rammed on the side of the cart

I love Twister i found it really smooth well compared to Phoenix it was rough but i prefer Twister not the best rollercoaster ever seeing as there are many but its awesome

becareful when you go on this coaster!me and my friend when on it and the lap bar didnt latch right and was lose and i nearly fell out of the seat on the cameal humps.so make sure it latches right!

Hey guys, I go to Knoebels every year because it is WAY more cheaper than LOUSY six flags. I went on the Phoenix , and it is probably better than a lot of other rollercoasters.

@legofan2600 true it is a lot cheaper and a lot less people and they do have great rides but NOTHING can beat el torro at six flags. the drop was more intense and steeper. (el torro was even more intense than kinda ka!)

This roller coaster used to be at Playland Park in San Antonio, Texas. I had many of my birthday parties there in the 1970's. It was then called "The Rocket". In the 1980's the roller coaster was taken apart piece by piece and moved to Pennsylvania.

This ride is just like Comet at Hershey Park except Comet is white and blue cars called Mork and Hailey.

This coaster is just pure airtime, every dip has you launch off your seat. I live about 2 hours from Knobels, its a nice park, might not have the fancy modern steel coasters, but between Pheonix and Twister, they are awesome wooden coasters, Phoenix for the airtime, and Twister for the twists and turns. Ride it once and you want to ride it again, and again. Twister is just awesome along with Phoenix. All rides and coasters wrist band is worth it, and the food is great. And cheaper than Hershey.

I LOVE this coaster, never been on one quite as good myself. I used to live 15 minutes away, and I'd always go down to ride it whenever I could. You should hear the sounds it makes though, makes me shiver with anticipation!

i love this ride, it's one of the firsts i've been on.

I don't weigh a lot, so I fly out of the seat on all the bumps, and that drop! I remember the first time I rode this, I was clinging onto my cousin next to me, although I loved it, & then went with my brother. =]

Used to ride this actual coaster when it was in San Antonio back in the 60's.Used to belong to Playland Park until they closed down. There's a nice video song telling the story of this coaster.

i went on this like 50000 times. one time meh and my neighbor were sitting on the back row and our seat "bar" thing didnt lock. my neighbor is half the size of meh and i had to hold her down the whole time! we told the worker person and they said that it was because THEY hadnt locked it. i was so mad. and the bad part was that the whole ride is up and down. up and down. well.. bye
