melina marchetta is my first author ive ever realy wanted to read their books soo bad for some one who being 14 never picked up a book before its a thrill that you dont get over untill ages after youve read it when my sister finally convinced me to read looking for alibrandi i didnt want to put it down then a day after that i read saving francesca now im looking for jelicoe road and ive been practically depressed with out a melina marchetta novel to read! i only wish there were more! :)
she was my english teacher i didnt like her books but i thought she was hot and plus she is a really nice woman.

It gives me hope that my idol drinks coffee and walks her dog. Her writing has gotten me through some tough times.
