Honestly, I like the collection. Unlike Whitney's (although I LOVE Whitney Eve clothes), these are all things I would wear on a daily basis. It's not necessarily high fashion but it's very wearable. I like that! I would buy these.
Honestly, I don't understand why people are saying she can't design clothes and has no talent? Personally, I thought all of her designs were cute and fashionable. I would MUCH rather buy clothes that are affordable and are something I can wear in my day to day life. Some of the most famous designers have beautiful clothes, but they are not practical. The only reason people are judging her more harshly is because she was on The Hills. End of story.

1:26 lol worst walk ever walked. I thought the collection was really simple, and it could have used more prints, fabrics, and accessories but it wasn't the worst i've ever seen. Wasn't the best eithe but not the worst.

models aren't supposed to walk to the music. unless asked to do so, they don't and should not. if they did, the clothes wouldn't have as great of an effect because the audience would be paying attention to the models instead of the clothes. ..i think the music is just for the video anyway, not the actual show...but the models were terrible anyway
Oh yeah, I forgot to add that the reason the clothes are so 'plain' is because Lauren is big on accessories. That's what they're meant for. The accessory makes the outfit, they're supposed to be worn with 7 rings and a giant necklace (or whatever).

Chanel is one of Lauren's design idols, and Lauren's style is like Chanels. Very classic, clothes you can wear for years and it never goes out of style.
Ok, it's obvious that almost no one liked her collection. However I don't care what anyone says, I liked it. No she didn't have any bright pops of color, but that's not really Lauren style, and any fashion designer designs based off their own style. Coco Chanel loved black and white and a very classic look, and that is the basis of everything Coco Chanel designed.
alot of the stuff she has designed is all one colour which makes her designs look bland. I think she is sort of along the right lines but needs to experiment with more colours put together and different shapes...
there were a few pieces that popped but it's all pretty boring. her models weren't too good either. most of them walked way too fast and it made it really awkward. others kept their hands on their hips the ENTIRE time the walked. what's up with that? it just looked, silly.

You don't have to starve yourself. You can not assume that just because they are skinny means they all starve themselves. Just like if someone is bigger, it does not mean they MUST eat a lot.
I'd love it if she became the next Coco Chanel, Lauren's pieces are just exquisite no matter how PLAIN others might say they are. You don't have to reveal everything about your body to look sexy and chic and with the line she's showing in this show it goes to prove it.
Ok... this look is completely Lauren, and its not bland at all, the best way to dress is to have a classic and simple look and glam it up with accessories. i loved it. its so corporate, nighttime... anywhere really. I don't think her market is millionaires; she's making a practical line that teens can afford and make their own fashion with... why do u want to be given an outrageous piece that you can't do anything with? That just makes you a follower... top work.
And if this is the original soundtrack she used in the show, It was a very poor choice more to contribute to the pretty bland show, very repetative, in some cases repetition wouldnt be such a big deal but in this one it is.
Hmm I think shes protrayed herself as a highly influenced designer of course by other big names out there but she reedited it in a very dull,bland way. As a first it should have been a great first impression, unfortunately she didnt meet up to one. Anyways, I've seen these designs before and I was like "eh". But it's SUCH a difference when you actually see someone wearing them.
They're fantastic, I'd definitely wear them.
I love how the colours are, well, slightly 'boring' per say. They're toned down and not as 'in your face', which I definitely like.
I think she did a great job. I absolutely LOVE Lauren's style and her line really reflects on her style.

Lauren seriously I have see this before and they are okay if your are going to funeral, wedding,or a classic party other than that it is just to plain. On fashion shows learn to use something creative, on the runways you just put together stuff that you don't use when you are walking the street. Know what I mean?

yeah i totally agree with you. and she charges SO much for this stuff and u can buy it at any cute chain store for $30. I find it very offensive because im one of her fans, and people like me are the reason she even has the line, and then she goes and makes pretty boring and slighlty unnatractive clthes and charges hundreds and hundreds of dollars. its ridiculous and a slap in the face to her fans.

I loved all of Lauren's designs and would wear everything she designed. And it may make people consider me boring but I don't give a crap. Everyone's style is different. Some people like bright colored clothes and some don't, personally bright, loud clothing is just not me. Some people just chose not to wear bright, loud colored clothes. What's wrong with that?

Ok, it's obvious that almost no one liked her collection. However I don't care what anyone says, I liked it. No she didn't have any bright pops of color, but that's not really Lauren style, and any fashion designer designs based off their own style. Coco Chanel loved black and white and a very classic look, and that is the basis of everything Coco Chanel designed.

alot of the stuff she has designed is all one colour which makes her designs look bland. I think she is sort of along the right lines but needs to experiment with more colours put together and different shapes...

there were a few pieces that popped but it's all pretty boring. her models weren't too good either. most of them walked way too fast and it made it really awkward. others kept their hands on their hips the ENTIRE time the walked. what's up with that? it just looked, silly.

Ok... this look is completely Lauren, and its not bland at all, the best way to dress is to have a classic and simple look and glam it up with accessories. i loved it. its so corporate, nighttime... anywhere really. I don't think her market is millionaires; she's making a practical line that teens can afford and make their own fashion with... why do u want to be given an outrageous piece that you can't do anything with? That just makes you a follower... top work.

And if this is the original soundtrack she used in the show, It was a very poor choice more to contribute to the pretty bland show, very repetative, in some cases repetition wouldnt be such a big deal but in this one it is.

Hmm I think shes protrayed herself as a highly influenced designer of course by other big names out there but she reedited it in a very dull,bland way. As a first it should have been a great first impression, unfortunately she didnt meet up to one. I like her but i would have to see more of her in order to determine wether she belongs in fashion or not...
