@zingGodin Actually, that would be the complete opposite. While others tried to kill Kratos for nothing more than pride and greed, Hephaestus actually tried to kill to protect his daughter from sacrifice. In this regard, Kratos didn't try to slaughter him, but just kill him.

This plus, when Kratos went to defeat Zeus, he actually held second thoughts in preserving Heph's daughter, wanting to spare her. This would respect of Heph. in this case, for he could relate as a former father.

Less painful compared to what though? if someone was pulling your head off at such a rate, it took him about 2 seconds to pull the whole thing off you would just go into shock and not feel pain as such, whether its in his chest or not, it was still a much slower death especially with electrocution added in.
