@rytard123 i think he is because his bow angle and because i have this song for a solo and i have to start on the a string but then go to d it sounds like he never went to dstring instead a so yes he probobly started on e string

The harsh sound isn't because of the violin playing. Its a microphone problem. I'm still looking for a microphone that is suitable for recording the violin to the Internet. Allegro should be play brightly with lots of clarity.
