Ladd School is now the First Baptist Church on the corner of Ladd and Howard. They bought and added on to it ages ago.
And yes, Donnell's Printing is now in the building where the liquor store was. They also added a small section to the front of that building so it doesn't look exactly the same anymore either.
Why in the world does this make me love Patrick Swayze and want to dance on a car?? lol "Hey pal, why don't you just cool off a few degrees!" haha that is my new quote! =] This movie is hilarious... especially if you watch The Outsiders first and you see Tommy and Patrick totally the opposite from the characters in the Outsiders. haha
This scene in "Grandview, U.S.A." is one of the funniests scenes in the film. Patrick Swayze is funny jumping on the top of the Camaro, nearly sqaushing Jennifer Jason-Leigh and Troy Donahue.

I was born in that hospital. It was torn down a few years ago.
Great movie by the way. Grandview was the perfect name for that movie. Anybody from Pontiac will agree.

That hospital scene was not filmed at the old St. James. It was actually filmed at the old Ladd School.
