  • what kind of transmission did you use to make it manual?

  • Needs a blow off vaulve the trubo flutter sounds like shit

  • How much many did you expend

  • eww clean that filter. holy fuck... lol

  • can u put those on a 3.9 v6?

  • Yeah that compressor surge is bad!

  • Nice, UFO technology. lol.

  • is there a bird stuck in there somewhere? check all openings..it might fly out before is succumbs :)

  • how much was all that ?

  • That thing needs a bov like yesterday.

  • man i keep seeing these but never for my engine the 287ci 4.7L V8 and all the turbo kits i see are for the V6 dakota

  • that fluttering is surge not very good for the supercharger but not all that much you can do to avoid it now. just means when you get off the throttle as much air as your supercharger pushes can't go through the engine

. how fast does your dakota run the 1/4 mile?

  • Where did you get your supercharger I need one for my 98 RT

  • @NJefferson8891

Looks like a procharger which is made by ATI.

  • @countryfun360

correcting myself i think it might actually be a vortech supercharger. ATI doesn't have the huge ribbing on their procharger products.

  • Isn't that flutter bad for the supercharger? Sounds awesome but I don't think it's healthy...

  • its not good if its surging like that

  • sounds just like my buddies supercharged M3 :) so sick!

  • I gotta 98 Dakota with a 3.9 v6 what supercharger would fit it easily

  • FORCED INDUCTION RULES

  • man that compressor surge is a neat sound but a bad effect.. invest in a BOV or something bro

  • @NuX354354354 bov on a centrifugal supercharger? is that even possible bro?

  • @SoCoMx309

You can use a bov on a centerfugil sup just make sure it's a vac operated unit.

  • hmmm....something doesn't sound right...

  • hey were did u get ur supercharger

  • 3 words blow off valve lol

  • i think maybe it needs a blow of valve or sumthin cuz it dont sound right it does sound cool tho

  • @yfz450lover

haha sounds cool if you like to throw away about the 4K it cost when the surge ruins the sup.

  • for some reason dont sound too good

  • what tranny did you use to handle that power?

  • hot dayum son shes mean

  • I have the chance to put one on my 5.2 but I dont think im going to.

  • i would if i had the chance hell aint nothing fast enouf

  • This thing sounds like shit......

How about a little boost with that surge......

  • UFO style bitches

  • so yea basically i nutted in my pants....can i trade motors with u?! lol AMAZING!!!!!!!!

  • dude....get a BOV...

  • Honestly it looks more like a procharger instead of a supercharger

  • you sir, are an idiot.

  • do you even know what a procharger is dumass? obviously not because a supercharger looks nothing like what is on this truck. its a procharger. do your research before i have to shove your words down your throat again!

  • a procharger is a brand of supercharger. Look it up. Specifically, I believe its a brand of centrifugal supercharger. It looks like a centrifugal supercharger, which is still a type of supercharger, meaning you are wrong. Bet you feel dumb now.....

"do your research before i have to shove your words down your throat again!"

  • looks like someone knows they're wrong and are afraid to admit it.......

  • im not wrong because it is a procharger and even though it is in the supercharger family just plain old supercharger isn't the correct term for it. and youre right that centrifugal supercharger is another name for procharger. so technically im not wrong, im not an idiot nor do i feel dumb, and im not afraid to admit anything.

  • ok so lemme get this straight.... you said that it didn't look like a supercharger, but rather that it looked like a type of supercharger. Arent all superchargers a specific type of supercharger? Im guessing what you consider a "normal" supercharger is what is called a "roots" style supercharger. IT has a name too, so its fallacious for you to say that you were right by saying it was not a supercharger. Furthermore, you are wrong by assuming it is a procharger. It could be any brand.

  • dude its not that big of a deal. im still gonna call it a procharger and you can still call it a supercharger.

  • no, i am right and you are wrong. PROCHARGER is the brand name of supercharger. You sound like a tool that calls types of nitrous injection kits NOS because they saw fast and the furious and never took the time to take their thumbs out of their asses. YES it does look like it might be a procharger system, but it is still a supercharger.

  • Stop arguing... Does every youtube video have to have a comment argument to go with it? x_X

  • the last response was a month ago. It was done until you brought it up again.

  • Wow, dongster...you've really got quite a temper.

let me ask you something. You know the stuff they put on walls..right? Dry wall. Well I hope you know that DryWall is a company name but everyone calls the stuff dry wall. It's actually called sheet rock.

So he can call it a procharger all he wants, it's the same as calling sheet rock Drywall.

  • thank you for 1. bringing this up again, and 2. COMPLETELY misunderstanding the argument.

Let me put this in your terms "hey, that stuff over there isn't sheetrock, its drywall!"

    See???? sounds stupid doesn't it?

  • It sounding stupid is an opinion. The FACT is that is can be called whatever as long as he means the same thing.

Another example: In some areas of the country instead of saying pop or soda, they say coke. So if a server in a restaurant asks you "What type of coke would you like?" they are talking about pop/soda in general.

So "He has a Procharger" is the same as saying "He has a Supercharger"

    Face it dude, you're wrong.

  • @unowhtidc4554 please read the guy's original post. you should see my point. You are refusing to read what I have to say because you think you're right.

  • @unowhtidc4554

Good thing nobody called a roots type supercharger a blower on here dongster might have flipped shit.

  • dongster1 is 100 percent correct. To bad its a vortech supercharger and procharger is a brand. I have a 3.9 dakota with the same setup!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I have a supercharged v6 dakota and it doesn't sound anything like that. Do you have a bov/waste gate in it. I also would like to know where you got your piping for you intercooler. I just bought the truck and I feel that I can improve it a lot with a bov and a intercooler. It does however have a boost controller though I'm not sure how it works.

  • sounds like poop

  • SICK

  • Why does the supercharger have that funny pulsating sound?

  • I was wondering that too

  • its called compressor surge. The centrifugal type superchargers do this because the throttle plate closes and there's no where for the compressed air to go except back out the supercharger, which either stalls out the turbine or flips it in reverse. A blow off valve will solve this like it would solve the problem on a turbo.
