The Beyonce thing, though...it sounds to me like Beyonce might have listened to a little Amel along the way. I remember thinking she sounded like Amel on "Me, Myself and I" when it first came out. So I do hear it. However, B tends to get carried away! Amel keeps it subtle and understated, and that why I adore her.
