  • Truly, Milton Friedman would want us to have access to this program without paying a dime for it, for that is what makes capitalism great...oh wait.

  • @AnonymanForeverlol given today's situation he would have. lol

  • @skydome29 hahah thats true, i guess he would describe it as private charity

  • I really have a lot of love and respect for Friedman.

  • Can't thank you enough for uploading this.

Just amazing series - makes today's programming pale in comparison!

  • proud to put the 100th like *offtop*

  • Couldn't that "mail" service in Rochester NY now be called a messenger service and be in business? I se it as a local version of FedEx "If you have to get it across town by the end of the day".

  • A brilliant series that more people in this country, regardless of political stance, should watch. The fact that this video itself has only 6.6 thousand views is despicable. This series was a primary factor in my decision of majoring in Economics almost 4 years ago, and I hope it opens others' minds as much as it has my own. Milton Friedman is as much as an economic genius as Albert Einstein is a Scientific genius, and it's a shame that so many people are unaware of his existence.

  • I ran across this video series while looking for something else. Glad I ran across it! There's SOOOOO much information in this video series, that's STILL pertinent to TODAY'S issues. Thanks for uploading this:)

  • I watched ALL 10 parts! Success

  • Lol, his opponent "what would you say to people on welfare?" That is irrelevant to the question "which system is the most beneficial at large?"

  • Utterly brilliant

  • If you can't watch the entire series episodes 1 and 10 highlight the main arguments

  • I've watched the whole series - great stuff.

  • Lobbying=Bribes

  • Thanks a lot for sharing this great series. It is an eye opener. I will forward it to more and more people. Freedom is our real wealth and we have to preserve it.

  • it's unfortunate the USPS is not privatized. The government can't do anything right.

  • Classic collection...thanks for sharing!

  • thank you very much for uploading this series. very informative. thank you.

  • Milton Friedman for President in 2012. I know he's dead, but if we'd just do what Milton would, we'd have better governance than under Obama (or Bush).

  • Great series, watched all of it, thanks ! This should be watched by everyone ! One of the most important documentaries I have seen.

The sad part is that it is only 1,815 views :(

  • Great series, watched all of it, thanks ! This should be watched by everyone ! One of the most important documentaries I have seen.

  • Thank you so much for posting this. Just got through all ten. Long live Freedom.

  • @benjaminerne congratulations; you are now informed enough to combat the filthy collectivist trolls and repudiate their drivel; spread your wisdom

  • Starting at about 41:36....

    PROPHETIC !!

  • I DONT MISS CABLE TV! Thanks for quality posts :)

  • "How to stay free" The name should be changed to "Wage slaves". "Free to choose" LOL! Like they do in America. They make electric cars but put the prices so high that even if you wanted one to save the environment you wouldn't be able to afford it! Ahah! Suckers!

  • @boumar19721972 i'm sure YOUR country is very green, because you still ride around on horses.

in the civilized world, technology costs money, and advanced technology(like electric cars), costs a lot of money.

still, i don't see any communists inventing electric cars--the best the soviet block could do was the shitty Trabant...and guess what, IT was very expensive AND it polluted a lot. :)

  • @boumar19721972 where do you live man?

  • @paulstroie Canada. I just tell it like it is. Freedom is an illusion! No one is truly free, not even the animals. They all have to live by the laws of nature.

  • @paulstroie /watch?v=4Z9WVZddH9w

  • @boumar19721972 dude I've seen the comedies, and I've seen real poverty, poverty is not what you call in Canada.... and poverty comes from the lack of freedom, nothing more...I see your an ecologist, I challenge you to go see a less free and a less capitalist country, and see how the state takes care of mother earth.. I get your an idealist , but you can't have your cake and eat it too...

  • 10 hours well spent.

it's amazing how difficult it is to argue these common sense truths with anyone at my university--students or professors. more people should watch these, if only because they'll believe Friedman more, since he got the Nobel.

but the truth of freedom should be self-evident. a great series.

ps: if youtube tries to take this down, just tell them "plagiarism is the highest flattery"

    --Milton Friedman

  • @ZamolxisReborn Milton Friedman is in "zeitgeist moving forward", and it's very interesting what he says in that documentary. You can really see hi true nature.

  • @boumar19721972 i am sorry that you seem to be an intellectual infant--from the few minutes i watched, that video is utopian and entirely unrealistic.

friedman accepts the nature of man, and points out the best way to improve all our lives, not unrealizable through utopias, but through freedom.

  • @ZamolxisReborn What I was trying to say is that economists produce nothing of real value in this world.

  • @ZamolxisReborn I was about to continue this conversation but I went to see your channel and it said you are from the United -States. Then I said to myself it would be like explaining rocket science to a 2 year old child so that's it. Done you win in your mind.

  • @boumar19721972 thanks, dear. i KNOW i'm right.

...but only because i was born and lived most of my life in a 3rd world country, THEN moved to the US--so you're damn right i think America is better. i KNOW it's better.

i've seen your "ideal" society(i lived in it), and you can keep it!

  • @ZamolxisReborn Friedman had a very clever phrase:

    "people vote with their feet"

i am just one of the countless millions who have voted with their feet for freedom.

however imperfect the US may be, it's infinitely better than much of the rest of the world.

  • @ZamolxisReborn its ok but it certainly isn't at the top of any human development list, mostly not even in the top 10. US also comes in at number 17 in the democracy index

  • @ZamolxisReborn you lived in Romania didn't you??I some how can grasp that from your user name, glad to see some romanians grasp freedom...

  • @paulstroie haha. da.

eu trag cu arcul in nori ca sa sperii ploaia!

  • @ZamolxisReborn haha LOL...unde locuiesti acum?

  • @paulstroie in dacia antica. duh!

    :p

  • @LogicalFlawDetector You're welcome!

  • I wish more people would see this. 112 views? Very, very sad.

  • Thank you so very much for posting this series

Where the hell did you find this gem??

  • @davematherly

Sadly, I cannot remember. I've had it for a while now. I'm just glad I was able to share them with everyone.

  • @CommonSenseCap thank you :)

  • @CommonSenseCap thankyou for your work
