I do agree that your greeting is ASALAAMU ALAYKUM(peace be with you) but a quick check will get u confirmed that it is not to be used to initiate a greeting to a christian or a jew!! The Prophet (pbuh) said:
“Do not initiate the greeting of salaam to a Jew or a Christian”
(Narrated by Muslim, 2167).
if they initiate the greeting then(according to some scholars ) you are allowed to reply,but there is no consensus on this!! Just thought that people would like to know...
