You can use snipping tool . or you can do it the hard way and prt sc + alt + ctrl .. then go to paint and paste or ctrl + v .. just easy way ... SNIPPING TOOL ...

Yeah, it is above F10 on a laptop, and above Insert on a desktop keyboard. It is probably called Prnt Scrn on your computer.

what? u don't have the print screen button..look, i have a microsoft keypad and the print screen button is located above the numpad, on the left, at the same line where the f buttons (F1, F2 ...F12) are located..it actually says on it "PrtScn SysRq"

Unfortunately, no. If you're not sure, open up your art program on your computer and hold Ctrl + V to paste the screenshot. If you did it right, a picture of your screen will poof onto the canvas. If it doesn't, then try again, but this time tap the Print Scrn key a few times or hold it down firmly once. Then try to paste again.

simply pressing print screen will almost always make the game save a screenshot to it's install folder, some times it will only place it in the clip board and you will have to paist it to a canvase, you can do that in mspaint ctrl+v, if that failes get fraps.

FRAPs is crap unless you pay for the full version. Your better off putting your game e.g. counter-strike to run in a window rather than full screen then getting one of those softwares to select part of the screen and record it to a video.

I use a lil app called hoversnap. You can either capture the entire screen, the active window, or you can custom crop a screenshot to a directory of your choice. Its free and only a 328 kb download.
