ok, i don't own a busa or a zx 14... all i do know is that statisticly the hayabusa can house over 600 hp... the hayabusa IS faster stock, and i'm sure that if you modified the both of them to the max the hayabusa would still win. the question is... does it make the zx-14 any less desireable than a busa? no.

dont know what you saw but ive seen a slightly modded(bored engine) busa take a turbo zx 14 and when the zx 14 went against a turbo busa no competition at all

Funny enough I was on a 'busa this weekend past. It was gutless. The 'busa guy was asking me how he could get the front wheel up. BAH! I guess he saw me haul it up in 3'rd at 160 km/h with no clutch.

I'll have to see a 08 'busa to compare it but don't get too confident. The '14 was WAY detuned. With bolt-on parts it'll punch a hole in 200hp easily.

Sounds good. Is that just slip-ons w/ a PCIII, or did you do anything else?

Just the slip-ons for now. I will be installing a PCIII soon and tuning it here at a shop in Kuwait where I am currently living. I have some bills to pay first and child support to catch up with for my kids. They all come first. Life is rough right about now LOL!!!

Thanks for the update. I held off on updates to my -14 because I picked up a KTM 990 Adventure for winter/rain riding. Spring time I'm still figuring out slip-ons and will do that and a tune locally w/ a PCIII add-on.
