1) Double- speed learning - means improvements will be more noticeable sooner;
2) Any song in any style - increases versatility;
3) Relaxed teaching style - makes learning easier & more fun.
I've always wanted a Telecaster (not a "Strat", as you referred to it at one point in the video - obviously a slip of the tongue) and that looks like a rather good one, so please send it to...!
1- I PLAY BY EAR.SO BEING ABLE TO READ SHEET MUSIC WOULD BE GOOD FOR ME BECAUSE IT WOULD OPEN DOORS ON WHAT I COULD PLAY. I WANT TO OPEN A SONG BOOK & PLAY ANYTHING IN IT. SO YOU LESSON ON READING MUSIC WOULD HELP ME ALOT.
2- I KNOW ABOUT 40-50 CORDS NOW. NOT ALOT BUT ITS A START. YOUR LESSON ON STRUMING AND RHYTH. WOULD BE NICE TO HELP ME WITH WHAT I DO KNOW.
3-MY FINGERS GET STIFF WHEN I PLAY TO LONG,YOUR LESSONS ON FINGER EXERICISES WOULD HELP BUILD STRENTH IN MY HANDS & FINGERS
1.I already have a telecaster (but it's not Fender, it's a cheaper version made in Poland) and it would be so awesome to have original one
2. I love learning from videos and from what I've seen so far on your website, you're an excelent teacher and I really get a lot from your lessons
3. I've been playing guitar for like 2 years now (I'm 18) and I've made huge progress but there are some things I'm still need develope and that's why I need your videos
2. Have played since about 1970 when my parents bought my first electric. I find it a real source of joy and relaxation and through the years I've learned that guitarists never really stop learning. This course lets you learn at your pace
3. Have played with local bands through the years and always wanted a nice Fender and this is a beautiful guitar.
1. I have many of your coures but this puts everything into one package.
They say you can't teach a old dog new tricks, well at 58 I have learned more in the last 2 years from you than I did since picking up a guitar back in the sixties.
2. Two guitars I have always wanted to own are the Telecaster and the Statocaster, I own neither. With sending kids to university I have no money left to buy nice guitars.
3. I have just started playing with other people and a nice guitar would make it great
1) I want to learn how to play guitar with a method and a system instead of just random lessons and being self taught.
2) Your approach and presence on the videos are easy to understand, at a speed that I am able to follow, your explanation of why and how on the lesson motivates me
3) I am highly motivated to learn, being patient, and doing things correctly the first time. (I own an acoustic and would like to have and electric)
1. I would love to have a high quality Fender like that.
2. I just purchased blues guitar 2.0
3. I want to play the blues like Stevie Ray Vaughn , I think with Dans video lessons I can do it. What a insperation it would be to own that Fender. Either way Im excited about playing and learning . Thanks Dan.
I'm 62 and love the guitar. I've tried to learn but don't have what it takes.I envy you. I need a course that will keep me interested.A nice guitar sure would. I'm on a fixed income, and my wife would shoot me. I told her it would be good for the mind. She said not mine My grandad was in a band and I have his ole banjo uke. He use to play the banjo and fiddle. He would be proud of me, lol. I'd love to learn to play for the grankids. Their teenagers now and I want to stay young.
The reason that we ALL want that Guitar is because it's really cool! The reason that I want that guitar and your program is because I sent my electric Guitar to Iraq when my son was deployed over there so my son and the boys could jam. I'm playing my 12 string now and it's just not the same. I love it, I do. But I wanna play some electric blues sooooo bad!! I don't read music or know too much about it and I sure could use your program. Want to teach my Grandson to play as soon as he can hold one
1. As an amateur guitar player (playing for 35 years now) i need a good easy guide to upgrade my playing to the next level. Not only play well but also know what i am playing
2. My son an a few friends of him keep asking me to learn them how to play. With this course i hope to be able to give them the basics and extra boost.
3. As a Fender fan i like this telecaster and would like to own a real Fender and not a cheaper copy.
The reason I have ordered thei course is because it was recommended by Griff and I needed a boat in theory. I have been strugling with theory and after listening to 6 of the DVD's I have already learned more than any books I have read the last six years, right now this course has taught me things about theory that I actually have retained and I have only gone through them once, great job Dan, I highly recommend your course, thanks
3. I really want to learn music theory, the fretboard, and the different kind of scales and chords. I have tried to learn scales in different modes and learn other bits of theory, but I have no idea in what music to play them, and they never stick. I want this program because it will teach me how to put the theory into practice.
1. I've been teaching myself guitar for 10 years, never had a lesson, I can play well but have hardly improved in the last 8 years. I was considering hiring a guitar teacher, but now I want to take this course instead.
2. I want to take this course to learn how to play to different styles of music. I've never really jammed with anyone nor have I learned a particular style like blues, classic rock..etc. I mainly write my own songs and play them. This is such a handicap when playing with others.
1)well tbh if i can learn music 2x as fast that would be amazing because it takes me along time to lern song so that would make my day2) ive always wanted to turn some blues songs to punk songs so if i am able to play songs in anystyle this would help alot 3) i dont understand what most people tr and tell me this could change my guitar playing completly plizzz let me have tjis oppertunity i will not let you down dude!!!
1. like who in the world would not want to buy this course to play the guitar which is almost the hardest instrument to learn on to play 2 times as fast has to be crazy.
2. I have reached a different level in my playing ability and would like to learn more about how to play different types of music.
3. I have a very poor grasp on the true intellectual mechanics of guitar playing and need to know more so that I may increase my ability to play and play with others.
2) I would love to get this guitar because my parents do not have the money to buy me an electric guitar, and I would love to try the course for quick learning.
3) I have a band and all my friends in a band have electric guitars and I do not have. Now they are waiting for me to get it. thanks for the time set aside for my comment :DDD
1. When I was 9 yrs old in 1978 my dad bought me a 72 tele and lesson, he passed a yr later and I gave up on lessons and later I traded that guitar for a bunk Les Paul copy. (mistake) I always regreated trading that tele and not finishing my lesson. At 38 I went to college and earned a Bachelor degree, so I said If I can do that O can do anything so I learning again.
2, My son looks at me as a role model and wants to play to.
I need to make a living from my music but I do not have any full complete, accurate information for becoming MORE than just an accomplished guitarist; an educated musician. 2. I need this course because I can take lessons wherever, whenever, and AS OFTEN as I need for one small price. Professionals here in OC are 60-100.00 per hour and Ripfire gives me DAN AT MY SPEED, REPEATED, LOOPING my trouble spots. 3. My ear isn't good enough to pick out licks, RIPFIRE'S HAS PERFECT TABS, so I'm good.
1: i wan't this guitar because music n' guitar is my life. 2: i wan't a new guitar when i went at after school. 3: i haven't money enough for a new guitar. i play guitar about 2 hours a day and i improve alot of riffs n' solo in pentatonic scale. That guitar is FREAKIN awesom!!!
(continued)still as the years have past I want to expand my playing, my favorite guitarist is Jimmy page and I would love to play like him and the other blues, rock players. Your course and guitar could really help me out since financially I can not afford it.
3) You are obviously a great guitarist and are recommended by likes such as Marty Schwartz who is a great guitarist on youtube. I hope that with your course and guitar you can teach me the way he has, I can get over this plateu. thanks
How could this course not help me? honestly I can hope to become a better guitarist. all guitarists have hit a plateau when it comes to their playing and I'm still kindve in it but I'm coming out of it. the chromatic lesson you gave me really helped hone my skills even better. I know wi more of your videos and practice I can move past this stage. 2. I've had guitar many guitar teachers when it comes to my playing and like you said in your video I started out wanting to only play metal, but s
3. I'm cheap. :) Running a home on a "limited income" is tough. It's never been harder to find money for extras. I've always had extreme stage fright. Let's be honest. I'm 58, but I still crave entertaining live. A lifetime case of stage fright almost killed that, but I have been out 3 times. Still scary as hell, but I'm getting better. Your guitar might help. :)
1. It's a great guitar. My Grand Daughter is 13. She's been playing over 2 years. Grampa's very proud. If that guitar likes attention, he'll enjoy this place. What can I say? Be great to win Dan's guitar. He used it!
2. I have a Bucket List. My big passion is to see how much I can improve in the time I have left to play. After 45 years of playing the same old stuff at campfires, I have never played more, or better! I'm even fingerpicking.
1. I want to combine Ripfire with my Nito course to totally accelerate my learning giving me the confidence and skills to play with the worship band at my church
2. I want to use what I learn to teach my grandson to play, OK he’s only 3m old but he’s already showing an interest when I play—what good is it if you don’t pass on what you learn
3. I’ve had a lifelong dream to learn to write my own songs and when I try I seem to come up short
1. Been wanting to learn for a long time but my fingers seem to lack the coordination, been practicing the scales that you've shown, and coordination seems to slowly be coming along (thanks). Really look forward to more lessons of yours.
2. “Motivation”, seeing you demonstrate guitar is very motivating for me, makes me want to learn that much more.
3. Let's face it:, “Chicks dig guitar players”, and I could use all the help I can get.
I honestly don't think I deserve to win, considering there are many others who can play better and are more deserving of the guitar, but it is my dream that through music, I will be able to reach out to 'the lost ones' who have yet to know the beauty the guitar brings. I've played the guitar for just about 2 years now, and at first, I would never have imagined to see myself playing.. but after being introduced to it by a close friend, my love for the guitar grew. (continued)

1. Been learning on & off for 2 years, to enhance my worship ministry but as a mom I don't practice as often as I should. If this will help me learn songs and styles twice as fast I'm all for it.
2. You said its for those who are tired of playing around and want to start playing. That's me.
3. It includes theory. I want to understand what I'm doing and create music not just play other peoples stuff
Bonus reason: Can't afford to buy it so winning it would be great (not to mention the guitar)

2. You said its for people who are tired of playing around and really want to play. That's me!
3. There's theory which is great. I want to create my own music not just play someone else's.
Bonus 4. I can't afford to buy it so winning it would be cool :) (not to mention the guitar)
I'm disabled 61 yrs. of age a Viet Nam Vet & I'm not asking for the guitar, Just asking that you put it in the hands of some young kid w/ the heart & soul of MUSIC !!!!!!!
I would love to hear that person someday. Bluesdog 1949
Top three reasons? I have more than that! But here we go:
1) It will teach me to be awesome (like you, of course)
2) It might help me with my mastery of the american accent (I'm an Aussie)
3) Lastly, I'm excited at the potential to learn so much faster. I've been teaching myself for the past 12months but making slow progress and would love to have a quality course to teach me the skills that I crave. And be proud to share my skills (and where they came from!) with the world of YouTube.
1) I loves blues and electric guitar and your riffs rock!
2) I need a good guitar teacher who will show me step by step how to improve my play and your course does this. Since there is so much material, there is the opportunity to go from 0-60 after using your course.
3) The songs rock and rock is fun! I want a course that is fun to do and practice and not like homework. Your course does this. So keep on rockin' the Rip Fire way!
Excellent Products! I have been trying to get better with this for some 15 yrs. Even after playing for a year in a local group, I felt less than qualified. I am now able to hear the notes, see the chord forms, and improvise where needed. The method of instruction is Awesome... not preachy, not to technical... a very good blend. Would love to see the Ripfire course...
3. Sound - I know it's all about Sound. So technique is everything and there's many techniques to learn. A good starting point is essential. Only then will I have My Own Sound. How fun is that????
2. Proper...Everything - I have to learn how to do everything properly so I won't have too many bad habits to undo. I already do have some I'm sure and the sooner I learn to undo them the better off I'll be. But how can I find them if I don't know what they are????
1. Structured Learning. I'm all over the place and I need a structured plan that I can stick with. I'm wasting a lot of time because my approach is not the proper way to learn. Time is too important to waste. I have the discipline but not the proper learning atmosphere.
2. As I was saying. getting my hands on your ripfire course will certainly open up new world in my studies to master my favorite instrument.
3. I'd be beyond satisfied to be able to access the course - guitar or no,just to be able to learn what you have to offer. What I've gleaned from all the free material you've offered has been amazing and I want more.
1. The guitar, as a gift, would be a constant reminder that someone besides myself believed I can become a good guitarist, should you choose me to receive it. I've been playing longer that I'd like to admit for my present ability. I know, with proper training I can become the guitarist I'd like to be.
2. Of all the teachers I've encountered, your style is the one I'm most comfortable with. You have shed a lot of light already and getting my hands on your Ripfire course would - continued...
2. Proper...Everything - I have to learn how to do everything properly so I won't have too many bad habits to undo. I already do have some I'm sure and the sooner I learn to undo them the better off I'll be. But how can I find them if I don't know what they are????

Hi Dan Just thought you would like to know i would like to win the guitar but its not about the guitar .
I really can't afford lessons at this point and could sit down and do the course when i have time .
It would help me break out into differnet styles .

1. I am a middle aged dude who just decided to learn how to play the guitar.
2. I am a marketing consultant and speak to a TON of people all over the country who also play guitar and I could be a promotional tool for you.
3. This would potentially be a life changing event for me if I would win. My daughter would be able to learn with me, the right way, with a beautiful guitar, at the same time.
I have done alot of dans freee lessons and like his teaching style . I am in this rut and need to get out of it .
I think this course could help me learn alot of new chords, and music theory.
I would also like to be able to play in many more styles of music . I would also like to be able to figure out songs without having to sit down witha guitar for weeks to learn one new song . well i hope i win thanks for all the free courses . Warren
1. im just a beginner just learning , i think your course would help me emensly, your vids ive seen so far, has helped me improve my learning
,2. unfortantly i cant aford your course let alone a guitar like that, i only have a washburn lion acoustic, one of the cheapest they make, so playing on a great instrument like that would be awesome.
3. you would be my hero if you gave me a guitar and the best learning course around., i would be unstoppable after learning from you . thanks for everything
I,m not so much entering this because of the guitar . I would really like to get the ripfire course.
I think this coure would be able to get me playing faster .Making me understand more . And I am really tired of sitting down and taking weeks to figure out one song. I am sure this course could help me to figure out songs better
i live down under and love playing the guitar, and your course shows such a variety of stuff to learn in a not so boring way, i would love to win it i started playing guitar in church, and now we play for a lot of charrities i have never won any thing from america bye for now aussie
4(Cont). Really bent. the neeck is sooooo bent that the strings are 2cm off the top of the 12th fret. since I am just learning guitar, it would be better to learn on a great guitar.
5. I am really passionate about guitar, and I would love to use a Telecaster. I would take care of it, and use it everyday!
6. I would just love to learn on a good guitar, and play great songs.
7. I have hit some rough times, it would be nice to have someone give me a quality guitar that would be used a TON!
1. I am an up and rising guitarist. If I could learn more, there would be nothing but improvement
2. Dan is a very elaborate person who cares about teaching guitar, and is up in the rankings with teaching styles.
3. If I could have that guitar, I would be able to get some of dan's lesson's, and because that guitar was in some of his lessons, thenit will be easier to learn songs on those guitars.
4. I have 1 new guitar, and it's been having some trouble. My other squier strat has a neck really
Have always wanted a Good guitar, since I now am disabled, don't see a really nice guitar in my future! Have always been told learning would be easier with a new guitar insead of using the old, used ones I have! Have lots of friends who play, to have an actual quality guitar would give me more confidence and maybe even make learning easier! A good course would probably add to my chances of learning!

1. i'm really interested in aquiring and learning your ripfireguitar but i guess some of the lessons are eaiser to learn using an electric guitar.
2. i'm 31 years of age but never been have an electric guitar!
3. i've learn to play guitar when i was 12 years old but as i hangout with younger friend who play guitar they where so amazing how they'd knew all those scale that they can match in every songs that i try to play, I could say i got a good ear to learn new songs but not good enough.
1. I believe that all human beings have musical expression inside us we just have to find the correct instrument that will allow us to express it I've found that I find a joy and happiness learning to express myself through guitar.
2. Although I'm a beginner your course from what I've seen so far has the all the components in it to allow us the opportunity to become successful at guitar even with a busy schedule.
3. Your course would also allow for my son 12 and my daughter 14 to learn with me
1. THE TELE. AND THE COURSE ARE PERFECT FOR WHERE I AM AT IN MUSIC
2. NEITHER ITEMS COULD COME FROM SOMEONE MORE SINCERE ABOUT TRULY HELPING OTHERS MOVE FORWARD IN THEIR DESIRE TO ENRICH OTHERS BY PLAYING FOR THEM WHAT YOU HAVE BEEN BLESSED WITH BECAUSE OF SUCH A GIFT.
3. EVERYONE, IN THEIR LIFETIME WILL NEED SOMEONE LIKE YOU, AND WHAT YOU ARE OFFERING, TO BE ABLE TO AFFECT ANY AND EVERY ONE THAT WILL EVER HEAR AND BENEFIT SO MANY TIMES OVER, IMMAGINE THE HANDS THESE WILL PASS ON TO.
1. I purchased your course on Blues guitar and it was great. I can only imagine how good the lessons in the Ripfire course will be.
2. I have reached a different level in my playing ability and would like to learn more about how to play different types of music.
3. I have a very poor grasp on the true intellectual mechanics of guitar playing and need to know more so that I may increase my ability to play and play with others.
FINDING A TEACHER,NOT AGREEING WITH THEM WITH WHATS THE BEST WAY.THE PRICE OF LESSONS LEARNING THEORY FIRST.THESE ARE JUST SOME OF THE PROBLEMS WITH A TEACHER.NOT LEARNING THE SONGS AND BORING SONG LESSONS
1 I've always loved musical instruments, been introduced to playing guitar about a year ago and this guitar would be perfect for me to learn.
2 I want to learn songs faster and in different styles so I can expand my guitar skills and musical talents.
3 I'd like to try your lessons because I really like the way you teach and you seem like the motivational type of teacher that will push his students to try out new stuff. I bought the course pack today and winning this guitar would be SICK!!! :)
1 I'd love to put it to the test to see if I can really learn songs twice as fast with your lessons
2 I've only been playing guitar for a year, learning through many youtube lessons but your lessons seem very educational and you seem to be the kind to motivate others into trying new stuff
3 Really know how to play properly, because I'm still kind of new to playing guitar. I bought your course pack today, and learning your lessons with this guitar would be amazing, since I've only got an acoustic
2) I play guitar about 3 hours a day, but it doesn't always work with the amateur video's on youtube so i wannted professional lessons...
3) My friends were planning to start a band, and I would looooove it to join them, but I could use a little improvement and I thought your lessons seemd really good.
I am a self taught guitar player and actually quite good but being such all good courses help me improve my playing. Expand my ability to become faster on the fret board its awesome stuff. That would look great next to my Martin D 28
1) Make Dan Denley famous in the Spain and the spanish speaking community in South America through what I´ll learn on his course and apply it to my sucessful videochannel on youtude.
2)Get a massive personal satisfaction from learning all the stuff I never got to learn through my 41 year career as a guitar teacher
3)Turn the music school where I work into a Mecca for rock and acousic guitarrists in the Malaga province (Spain) and turn out young super guitarist by the dozen.
As an unpaid volunteer, I teach guitar in two Indiana prisons and have for the past 5 years. Your course looks to be a Godsend of organization and topic, easily broken into learnable elements, and clearly presented. The guitar would be a welcome tool to augment the state provided acoustic guitars, which do not lend themselves to playing lead. Inmates learning music do NOT get write-ups, nor do they need anger management classes. Learning music rocks!! See a class picture on my Facebook page
1.I don't just want the Ripfire Guitar DVD I need it, I need it to jump to the next level and fulfill my ability and maximize my enjoyment.
2. The Ripfire Guitar DVD is the key I need to unlock the door to real guitar playing, to put the polish and finish I need to make me an entertainer and not just a competent strummer
3.The Ripfire Guitar DVD will give me confidence and technique with variety and style. It will make me the guitarist I want to be and a musician more than just a player.
To the point; my 3 reasons are : 1) Never really able to own a new guitar for the past 30 years. My real beat up and patched up electric guitar is 'dying' and its at the end of its life. 2) Have been playing the same few chords and getting nowhere; and its about time I sign up for real good course like yours to set me in the right direction. 3) Its like I really want to learn to play decently before I am too old and before I walk out of this world ......
After picking up and putting down a guitar over many years without applying any structure to the way that learning needed to be applied, I have finally decided to look for a course of tuition that will help me to: 1) make the stuff I have learned in an ad-hoc way fit into a wider learning context.
2) start again 'at the start' to make sure I get a solid and lasting learning experience.
3) provide the right tools and tuition to compliment my patience and determination to succeed
I just picked up the guitar again last year after 20 years of not playing. This time driven to learn theory and better skills. 1. The tele is beautiful and will provide more inspiration to pick it up often. 2. Love your teaching style. simple. concise and easy to follow which will make me a better all around player. 3. Really want to become more skilled so I can play with my friends. I have two very good guitar players for friends and would love to be able to jam with them.
I have many of your courses. I think they are some of the best out there. I am following your videos to see what the new course will add. I am sure I would learn faster using a Telecaster.
I had been learning for years..I was such a hack. Got married 5 years ago and gave my favorite guitar to my step daughter. I am missing learning and playing so the top three reason for me are. #1 that new guitar feeling and I am a winner. #2 the course has to be awesome because I have been following Dan for some time getting inspiration. #3 I have always wanted a Telecaster. Thanks Dan I hope to hear from you soon.
#3) I really want and need an electric guitar. All of this time I have been playing my mom's left handed acoustic which I had to string backwards because I’m right handed. To add to that I can't afford an electric and an amp, maybe one or the other but not both. So if I got the guitar I could own my own guitar and I could get a small amp. With the videos I would be able learn so much considering that your free videos helped me so much, I can't even imagine what the set will do.
#2) I want to learn more, because there is a lot that I don't know. I went to your Ripfire website and every video there helped me. I have spent tonnes of time playing and I don't ever plan on stopping. With the guitar I would be able to learn new things and enjoy a change-I have only been playing an acoustic. - I will be able to do so much more. And with your videos I can expand my skill further and become better.
#1) I LOVE playing, I will spend hours just practicing, learning, applying, and just making up things. I have even written an essay on guitar. this will help me by giving me new things to do and keep my love alive!!
1. After going about it alone and bass-akwards for years your comprehensive course looks like the best direction to teach me what to work on to be able to "think" on the guitar.
2. Learning more quickly equals more fun! I am confident that your course would be an inspiration to me to establish a practice routine I would look forward to and stick with.
3. I want to develop the skills and confidence I need to play well with my many musician friends. You can help me do that.
1. Because it's free, even more it's been touched by Denley,D
2. Because I would be able to use the copy of the tutorial to compare with the skills that I have gained for the past 3 years of me playing guitar and haven't improve one bit, due to my lack of motivation to play professionally, even though I knew I'm capable of it.
3.Hopefuly by receiving the guitar from a star like Dan, and watching his tutorials will motivated me more to take my music in a professional career..
Hi Dan first of all that guitar is a telecaster not a strat but of course you knew that.I play country music and your first three videos helped me trmendousley.I would take all the help you can give me ,Your really good at what you are doing.#1. my finger speed has increased alot and I expect it to get better. #2.The caged system made things alot easier to learn chords you need to teach this old dog more new tricks. #3.The different styles of struming just adds to everything else you have taught
Hi Dan, the new course looks awesome. I've been working through your Nitro guitar course and think that the Ripfire course will be a great complimentary course. The top three things that Ripfire would do for me are:
1. Help me to develop the skills to play with the worship band at my church.
2. Use the course to teach my grandson to play (OK, he's only 3 months old but I'll be ready when he is)
3. Allow me to begin writing songs
With both Nitro and Ripfire I will have the ultimate guitar course
1. ive always wanted to play guitar really well but i never was able to learn alot but im not very good... but im certain that with your dvds ill be able to improve my guitar playing skills
2. also ive never had the money to afford lessons from a person or any dvds in a store let alone a brand new guitar and im certain it will help me with my guitar even if i suck right now i can always get better,
3. ive always been told to never give up and this will help me learn to master my guitar :D
1. As a visual learner DVD's are the best option for me.
2. I would like to diversify my style and explore musical types I haven't previously tried.
3. Learn enough technical knowledge/theroy to be automatically play any lead type I like at any time without having to consciously think about it as I do now.
1) give me some momentum apart from your video's to learn to play guitar
2) learning to play on such a uniquely named guitar would really encourage me to get to prove to myself i'm not useless
3) to win this fantastic guitar would really compliment your video's and also give me a chance to become a great musician at the same time..anyway keep those video's comming, i'm finding them very encourageing
Hey Dan - thanks for the free videos & the chance to win a beautiful guitar !
1. loved the free videos & they gave me an indication of what was to come - really enjoyed them and I want more - I want to be a better player - I love guitars!
2. I want to get past the intermediate level and learn what I need - like more about music theory and all the things you mentioned
3. I love all kinds of music and would hope to be able to pick up different styles of playing ...
Im a older gentleman that just retired and I now have time to pick up playing again.
I would love to learn more about music and improve my playing from just above beginner. I love to play music from the 50's and 60's and the BLUES.
I have never owned a classic top of the line guitar that I'm sure would help me play songs easier than playing on knock offs. I'm starting to learn tab which they didn't have when I was younger. I had to stop playing for awhile. Off to Vietnam. then work and college.
3. I want both the Tele and the course so I can further my guitar learning journey. The Tele would help control my GAS attack. The course I am sure will be brilliant and help improve my playing skills. The lesson you have sent by email are great. The video quality is better than most other peoples lessons. Dan you are easy to understand and at 48 yrs old thats what I need. Looking forward to the course.
1. the telecaster is a guitar that I have dreamed of owning and the sound of this one is stunning.
2 I have been playing guitar for years and then coming across your lessons has been a breath of fresh air and has shown me some of the things which has been missing and is allowing me to become a much more accomplished player.
3. My current guitar just doesnt give me the telecaster sound, I have been yearning over one for ages-this is my chance!
1. The guitar itself is inspiring, its beauty and sound as well as your playing, make it look that easy. We all want to do that . 2. I´m in frustration for not going beyond beginner - intermediate level. I need new inspiration and differente approach to guitar. 3. I´ve watched one of your previous videos and now believe in you. I want to be on the road of mastering guitar.
At my age, I could use all the help I can get! It seems like it takes me twice as long to learn half as much as it used to. I don't have as much time as I once did to play, so anything that can speed up the learning process would be great. New concepts are inspiring. Actually, I think you should award the guitar to Rodney D. Richardson. He sounds like he really likes to play, and could use a new axe. I already have some nice guitars and don't need a new one.
1. I've been learning guitar for 8 months now and at 58 feel my progress could be further.
2. Your style of teaching I've seen so far is encouraging. I have spent hours on the web searching for a tool to speed up my progress though I practice 2-3 hours a day.
3. The guitar I have been learning caged scales and chords on is a cheaper model acoustic though I have strengthened my fingers, I haven't learned to play recognizable songs yet. LOL.
Learn to put the music together. and not get lost as you are doing so.
Also have the ability to jam with just about anyone and have a great time, understand them and be able to converse in a musical language.
Last but not least at my age I want to be able to just have the ability to pick up my guitar and let it rip instead of pulling out music books to see the chords. Also to win a beautiful fender like the one your giving away.
1. Learn music twice as fast. Hear a song, figure it out by ear, grab the music for it. 2 Play any song in any style. 3. Develop my knowledge of music, chords and how they are put together. Learn strumming patterns, essential rhythmic patterns in 6/8, 3/4, 4/4, chord combinations, recognize chord progressions, and the essentials of chord vocabulary. Your instructional videos make concepts clear with concise steps that will take my guitar playing to the next level to achieve my musical goals!
My reasons are:
1. You have a great teaching style
2. The course will allow me to get to the next level in my playng
3. Learning the theory of how music works and the way chords link together with scales will make me a more confident, capable and better musician

Reasons the DVD set would help me
1) Double- speed learning - means improvements will be more noticeable sooner;
2) Any song in any style - increases versatility;
3) Relaxed teaching style - makes learning easier & more fun.
I've always wanted a Telecaster (not a "Strat", as you referred to it at one point in the video - obviously a slip of the tongue) and that looks like a rather good one, so please send it to...!
Worldstallestdwarf49 10 months ago
1) You're good.
2) I have been a beginner for several years.
3) You could teach me guitar skills, style, theory, strumming, rhythms, chord combos, progressions, majors, minors, etc.

Hello Dan
1.I already have a telecaster (but it's not Fender, it's a cheaper version made in Poland) and it would be so awesome to have original one
2. I love learning from videos and from what I've seen so far on your website, you're an excelent teacher and I really get a lot from your lessons
3. I've been playing guitar for like 2 years now (I'm 18) and I've made huge progress but there are some things I'm still need develope and that's why I need your videos

My 3 reasons
1. It's always great to win

Hey Dan,
My 3 reasons would be:
1) I want to learn how to play guitar with a method and a system instead of just random lessons and being self taught.
2) Your approach and presence on the videos are easy to understand, at a speed that I am able to follow, your explanation of why and how on the lesson motivates me
3) I am highly motivated to learn, being patient, and doing things correctly the first time. (I own an acoustic and would like to have and electric)
Thank you for this opportunity!

Dan my three reasons are,

2. I allready have your blues course, and i really enjoy studying this. Your course rip-fire is a completion for this blues course i think?

The reason I have ordered thei course is because it was recommended by Griff and I needed a boat in theory. I have been strugling with theory and after listening to 6 of the DVD's I have already learned more than any books I have read the last six years, right now this course has taught me things about theory that I actually have retained and I have only gone through them once, great job Dan, I highly recommend your course, thanks

Here is my 3 reasons:
3. It would be his guitar to keep forever.

Good Luck Everyone!

Thanks For This Opportunity. Here's my 3 reasons.

Hi Dan My top three reasons are:
Anyway Awesome course Dan

2. Dan is a very elaborate person who cares about teaching guitar, and is up in the rankings with teaching styles.

Hey Dan,
Thanks for the free stuff -- appreciate it. Hope to win the telecaster & check out the new guitar course:
1. I'm an intermediate player - it can only help me get better as I love guitars & I love playing guitar!
2. I have been wanting to learn music theory but have never taken the time
3. I love all kinds of music & want to be able to play different styles
4. I know it will make me 10 years younger & a lot better looking!!!!!

I have been playing guitar for a very long time and I progress at a very slow pace.
I think the course will help me by.
1. Allowing me to understand music theory so I can start to solo and understand chord progressions, and use the whole neck.
2. Allow me to be able to play in time with other musicians.
3. And finally I would love to be able to pick up a guitar and recognise common licks have an idea how to transpose a song that I really like.

1. I cant get past the beginner level because i cant afford real lessons and learning on my own is really hard.
2. I want to become a real musician, like you mentioned it in the video.
3. I need a new guitar because my old one sounds crappy and as I said, I cant afford any stuff...
It would be so nice of you if I win this, it's my only chance to get a better musician.

Plus a nice guitar in your hands makes learning so much easier !!

Good question Dan, This course and the guitar would push me past the beginner level. I have been playing with my guitar for about seven years.
The motivation to spend the time required to move past the beginner level.
The tools in the course to push me there.
The understanding of chords and chord progressions to give me a skill set to be a real guitar player.
I love music and would love to be able to express myself through music, get it out through my soul, I feel as if I could just explode.

1. Taught myself to play guitar and since I've sort f reached the limits of my self-teaching I could really do with some tips and tricks
2. Would like to progress to electric guitar and this Telecaster would be the perfect instrument
3. I've never won anything in my life... ain't that sad? So winning this would do a lot to encourage me in general:-)

2 I have been playing guitar for years and then coming across your lessons has been a breath of fresh air and has shown me some of the things which has been missing and is allowing me to become a much more accomplished player.

LOL.
Thanks for the opportunity to comment.
