Could that choir have worse posture? haha. But as far as Sarah's performance goes, even with the very metal sounding canning of this performance, I thought it was spectacular. And she has just kept getting better and better, from Surrender, to Eden, to Harem, and now Symphony, for a rough outline.

She was darkening her singing on this one. She has a strong voice now, if you listen to her new songs. I do not know why she did that on here but if you notice her lips, they were almost closed for most of the song. That is how she darkened her voice. She is one of my favorite sopranos and I was disappointed when I her this. Although it sounded beautiful.

@baritone0509 I tell you why she sang it the way she did in 3 words, Andrew Lloyd Webber. They were not married at this time. She was probably, in her mind, auditioning.

she will sound different she is alot older now and as you get older your voice changes her voice is less powerful now but it has a different kind of beauty to when she was younger

That is Sarah 100%. Her voice was VERY powerful in the mid '90, try youtubing for PIANO performance from BBC. She sounds amazing!

Really? Then this must be of bad sound quality, because it sounds very slow and heavy. Just compare it to the other video added a few months ago of this same performance.

Regardless of the video quality here (and I've seen the other video too), my point it that her voice was huge and beautiful back in the 90's. Nowadays she's just the shadow of the soprano she was. :(

No, unfortunatelly it is her... it is her voice...
i think she is on the worst way a singer can ever step on... There is a lot of mistakes an amateur does (bad position of voice, bad breathing...), and this mistakes (all of them!) she really does. Although, I loved her art, voice and performance...I do not understand her conception.
