it does seem as if when the Kassandra complex is allowed to develop and reassert itself to the fullest extent, the natural response of brain tissue is self destruction. Perhaps nature has no time to whip a dead horse, so it moves on, looking for a different way to express itself that will be a more effective agent of the change it wants to / needs to direct itself towards. His story does seem to repeat itself.
