Call me crazy if you want but I don't refer to Ed Wood as the worst director ever. I mean don't get me wrong his films were horrendously bad, but some of the reason for that was he had no budget or support. At least he didn't wnat to rip poeple off. Now Uwe Boll (and to a slightely lesser extent Michael Bay) are another matter entirely. Bay makes some stuff that are okay, but he often seems to use over-budget effects before story. Boll.... well just watch one of his movies and see.

@Zinefilika - Actually in my way of seeing I don't think so, Depp played Willy Wonka as a creepy child inside a man's body mostly 'cause he never had the childhood he wanted or that any other kids had, he plays Ed Wood as an optimistical person with passion for his work even tough everyone's bringing him down. The smile, the voice might resemble Wonka but the personality and everything else doesn't, not to mention Edward's wife said: "That's my Eddy" after seeing Depps perfomance that counts :p
