Morgan Part 2 Morgan's Hatchday Walk

I have a galah and I have been able to train her to sit on my shoulder when I go outside and not try to fly away, but I did have to clip her wings just in case  she tried to fly but she doesn't get scared of cars only other birds, and she will only get a bit scared but she doesn't fly off, and I haven't used a harness.

I personally hate the harness idea but it looks like you are taking good care of him so it doesn't really matter. Why i hate it is because many people use it to tie their birds to objects. HATE THEM.

I have a Blue and Gold and was considering getting a harness for her so she can go places. What size do you recommend and how long did it take for him morgan, to get used to the harness?

It didn't take him long at all. About the 2nd time we put it on him he was comfortable. I got the large size for him. They can be adjusted too.

There is no fear in this bird of being outside or on a harness...sorry to tell you but anyone that knows these birds and what they are capable of can look and tell if the bird is not happy. This one is truly enjoying his time outside.

You obviously don't know what you are talking about. It doesn't clearly hate it, I have a bird who LOVES the harness, every time I take it out, he goes crazy with excitement because he knows its outside time, on the other hand I have a bird who hates it and when I tried it on him, he wouldn't stop ripping it off and rolling on his back, so I don't think this bird minds it. Having said that though its sad to see it in this state, but who says it hasn't been to the vet? read the older comments DUH

Thanks for the SELF REFUTING comment.."He goes crazy with excitement" no..he goes crazy period. Trust me birds HATE those things, there's NO bird that likes that unless they're sedated or knocked out. Do the bird a favor and quit using a bird harness.

Hi, He is very gentle. If you were around one who is mean yes I am sure they could break a bone.

Oh Morgan enjoys it so much >> I use an avian flight suit on my timneh .. I also have a video .. I have this kind of harness but he is resisting it still .. But I shall keep trying they so enjoy the fresh air ! 5 stars

Thanks.. Morgan is pretty good about the harness. I like to take as many of them for walks as I can. Most give me a hard time about the harness so I have a back pack.

What happened to Morgans beak?

He had a fall years ago before I got him. It also grows out very fast. My vet tried fix it but what e put on his beak fell off in a matter of hours.

Hi Rainbow, I am so glad you like my video. Sorry I didn't see you. I was watching where I was walking and didn't look up. I was walking on a wall after all. So hey when are you going to join me for a walk? We could get your video and my video and edit them(well Mom's can) and make it look like we are walking together. Would that freak humans and birds out..LOL
