  • So that sleepmode thing that annoys people, can't you just turn it off? Thinking of buying this, or the Mamba.

  • those bataries charge when wired, just like the mamba, right?

  • I just got this mouse, and I. FUCKING. LOVE. IT. My KDR in Call of Duty went way up. It's so much easier to use and so much better than freaking normal mouses. I've not used many other gaming mice, but this one is freaking beast

  • @DroiDxFanboyx Glad you like it, I'm also buying it for COD. Would you say there is a noticeable difference in the mouse's performance when it's plugged in via USB vs when it's wireless?

  • @jeffinsjohnson The website/manual says the max DPI is increased from 2000 to 4000 when plugged in, but I don't play on the max DPI settings, so for me, I don't think there would be much of a difference.

  • how does the wheel go blue because i have the same mouse and i can do it

  • thumbs up 4 review, i'm tired of 14yrs old that don't review products but they show u how they play at cod mw2 or the newest shitty one.

    THANKS A LOT.

  • AWESOME REVIEW

  • anybody recommend this for desktop gaming??

  • @TheArtman20 Reading what CatNasty said. I don't think people will recommend it just because the charging cord is short. Unless your desktop is next to your monitor on your desk. You might wanna either just get a wired mouse witha longer cord or get the Mamba which is recommended for Desktop gaming ;]

    ~~~
  • @TheArtman20 i dont think so, because if you leave the mouse idle for 3 seconds, it goes to sleep. I suggest a deathadder or if you want wireless, a razer mamba
  • great review, man. Really appreciate it.
  • its only for notebooks? how about a desktop?
  • @kintatzu333 Works with a desktop too. Just be careful, the cord is somewhat short(hence "notebook gaming mouse"), and it's only for Bluetooth wirelessly.
  • can you change the dpi buttons
  • Nothing change if i buy this.
  • can someone help me? i just bought this mouse today and after i plugged it in my com only the centre part lights up. The scroll doesnt. Can anyone help me? Btw, is this only compatible with notebook? if it is.. im fucked
  • That's what she said
  • This looks like the Mon Cal cruiser Liberty.
  • i feel like its oging to be to small. what do u think? great review btw
  • is the clicking loud? and does the scroll wheel spin smooth or is it notched?
  • To continue my last comment: by palm, I mean the very bottom pad where it meets your wrist.
  • How does it actually sit in your hand, and are the buttons on the side even remotely usable while gaming in your opinion? I just bought this mouse because when I checked out the size, it appeared to only be about a centimeter shorter than the one I am using right now (a crappy HP USB mouse, >> my old mouse broke) and my fingertips rest about a centimeter back from the edge of the mouse anyway. Does it feel like you have to hold it high, or can your palm sit on the desk while you use it?
  • @worsey55555 there are some electronic safe magnets. Plus ur not going to use ur computer as a mousepad...
  • Love the nail clipping on the desk..haha..eww
  • i have one, the left button seems a little stiff, right?
  • does the scroll wheel click?
  • your desk is sooo dirty
  • is this left handed or right
  • @jaylo972
  • @jaylo972 both!
  • So is the Mamba or Orochi better? I have a whole hand grip thing...
  • "look just a bump. *POW* see *POW* thats all it takes *BOOM*. haha jk but its nice mouse
  • wait did he say the mouse uses magnets? im pretty sure you are not meant to have magnets anywhere near your pc.
  • @worsey55555 That rule doesn't apply anymore. Did you know every hard drive actually has super powerful neo-magnets in it?
  • Comment removed
  • orochi-maru ?
  • I dont have a Notebook, But i do have a PC will it be that same thing?
  • when its running on bluetooth.. does it lag? I have the logitec bluetooth mouse and i was disappointed with my purchase. and the battery doesn't last long.
  • lol who wants a magic mouse, I mean sure it looks pretty cool, but next to this thing it looks fucking retarded
  • I tried the magic mouse once which in the apple store, the multitouch idea is phenomenal , but for gaming? it's slow as FUCK , bad idea for 1440p monitor!
  • I have the magic mouse right now and I'm looking for a Razer mouse. Seeing the part where you compared the two, I know I've got a crap mouse. Mine scratches around even the smallest particles of dirt on my desk and it makes it look like I have sand around my computer.
  • nice review!
    hey, i was curious after reading another review on the internet. Is it true that this mouse goes into some mini sleep mode after 3 seconds of idle time and after u touch it again it takes the mouse some time to come out of that mode? Have u noticed anything like that? Is it as annoying as some people report?(well, maybe they just don`t know how to update the firmware :P)
  • @cMaXeJIJIo Yes it does do that, but when you are plugged in it doesnt. I dont know how to turn it off.
  • @MamboPython Its a setting called "Power management". In Windows 7 goto Device Manager->Bluetooth Radios->Bluetooth device Properties(the device, not the enumerator)->Power Management tab and uncheck the "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" option. Nice review.
  • How is the size a "downside"? The size is a deliberate design choice. That's like saying a bike has the downside that it doesn't have a roof. If you want a big mouse, buy a big mouse. If you want a small mouse, buy a small one.
  • okay i went to the web page but i dont know what to download please help me out
  • I got razer naga molten. I think it's better :P
  • @rayxu1996 Eh. Only if you're doing shit like WoW and Rift. My brother bought the normal naga when he used to play WoW, and he loved it. But now he only really plays League of Legends and Counterstrike source, so he really never uses anything other than the first 3 side buttons anymore
  • @simpleben09 I use naga for LoL and starcraft2. The numbers are good cause now i can use an item in LoL or drink pot by clicking numbers on my mouse instead of reaching 1 to 6 on my keyboard cause who knows, maybe your in a fight and you need to attack the enemy and cant click 1-6 cause your using hands to click "Q,W,E,R."
  • lol @ saying the chord is difficult to plug in. It's like I can't imagine how much trouble you have with USB ports and things...
  • the cord comes with the mouse right?
  • @Alterach yes
  • Hello what is that I few connected this mouse on my alienware m14x even if not I took the option " Dell Wireless 375 Bluetooth card "
  • Do you know if that software works in Lion?
  • @ZohaibAMalik HALP HALP HALP HALP
  • Gaming mouse for a notebook PC or a mac.... That's sort of a contradiction. You can't be a gamer, and use a mac.
  • @qaiex Yes you can...I can list 10 games you can play on the Mac and PC...3 of which are in the top 5 most popular games of all time.
  • @MamboPython Good for you, I can list 1000 games you can play on a PC, 100 of which are the most popular games of all time.
  • Comment removed
  • That's why you run bootcamp. get windows and os x. it's better than getting a pc
  • @MamboPython Hah, I'd like to see a gamer who is satified with only 3 (or even 10) good games....
  • @CGH082492 I'll take that back, all one really needs is The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time... but still, Mac just isn't even decent for gaming.
  • @MamboPython You know it took Valve 7 years to finally decide that they should work on a Mac steam version?
  • @MamboPython i can agree to this guy the reason i was searching on youtube for a mice is to get one for my macbook pro which can play loads of my games
  • @MamboPython you can play games on a mac... but a gamers DOES NOT USE MAC
  • @MamboPython I LOLed @ this.
  • @MamboPython mac is buisness
  • @MamboPython mainstream games aren't necessarily good, its like the current top 5 hollywood movies that will be totally forgotten in a few years.
  • @qaiex you jjust said you cant be a gamer and use a mac, im a hardcore gamer and use a mac, ive won $650 in tournament money and i use a mac
  • @xtr3k1d You play CoD so your opinion is invalid. Kiddie game is kiddie game.
  • @qaiex and ur from sweden so your opinion is invalid... dumb swedes
    i see u make lots of money playing world of warcraft, huh?
  • @xtr3k1d Lol! Way to not even understand the point of the comment.
    WoW and CoD are the same, mainstream trash for casual trash. Suits you nicely, doesn't it?
  • @qaiex yeah ur totally right, an mmo is exactly the same as an fps thats like saying a car and a plane are the same
  • @qaiex That's retarded. The only way why there are more games for Windows, is because it is a lot cheaper then a Mac. In every single way the Mac is better for gaming, internet, office applications and basically everything... except its price :(
  • @PandaForAzeroth I see you've joined the cult. Enjoy yourself, drink as much of the punch as you like.
  • @PandaForAzeroth how the fuck is a mac better than a pc for gaming, behave yourself.
  • @PandaForAzeroth so the non upgradable computer is a better computer? you sir, are a joke!
  • @PandaForAzeroth Do you have mad cow or something?
  • @qaiex haha, your dead wrong
  • @TheActionSpot haha, no I'm not.
  • @qaiex IF you install Windows... Yes he can
  • @qaiex i use a mac, and fyi steam is now mac compatible and im playing games such as league of legends on it, oh also... ever heard of bootcamp?
  • @ryanclarke11 Ever heard of Windows. Nuff said noob
  • @qaiex for those who dont know... bootcamp is macs dual boot system to run windows, shows how much you know... infact im using windows on mac right now and games running on an nvidia GT 330m is perfectly fine! can run most newest games on mid-high settings, pfff go do your research before calling me a noob -.-
  • @ryanclarke11 I know Macs can use Windows. Just goes to show what a worthless computer it is when you need to use the competitor's operating system.
    Can a PC use Mac OS X? Yes it can. Would anyone ever want to? No.
  • @qaiex finally someone else who's thoguht the same :D
  • @qaiex Have you heard of Hackintosh ? Have you heard of Bootcamp ? They both allow to have the best of the two worlds, for PC users as well as for Mac users. May I mention, Parallels Desktop and Crossover are the golden cherries on this geeky cake. Don't be OS-racist. We can all live peacefully.
  • @Pierreax59 NEVER! I believe in the PC gaming master race, and mac users can't possibly be a part of it...
    It's like putting cheese on peanut butter, sure, some people might like it, and it won't kill you, but it's still blasphemy.
  • @qaiex I won't deny that Windows is the nbr 1 OS for gaming, but din't be silly, if Mac users can play, just let them enjoy games. Did you know that the dev team of Halo used to develop for OSX only ? Please don't be narrow-minded.
  • @Pierreax59 Also, key word: USED TO develop for OSX... There's a reason why they changed, and it's not because they wanted to be more retro.
  • @qaiex Please use only OSX for one month, and see if you still believe in your absurd "master race". Jee, you seem as clever as Steve Ballmer and as alive as Steve Jobs.
  • @Pierreax59 Please use only soap to wash your hair for one month, and see if you still believe in your absurd "shampoo". Jee, you seem as clever as George Bush, and as condescending as an american in a third world country.
  • @qaiex Haha you are a hell of a funny teenage blossom! I'm fading away from your high emptiness of mind. Enjoy your viruses! See you in hell.
  • @Pierreax59 Yep, typical mac user response; call the other person a child, accuse PC's of getting viruses, and flee from the argument.
  • @MamboPython My brother has an older laptop (around 3 years), would he still be able to use this wireless?
  • @ZohaibAMalik You will get more functionality if it is wired. The polling significantly speeds up when you plug in.
  • @ZohaibAMalik Yes you will
  • if used as a desktop mouse, the cord powers it correct?
  • very good review!
  • forgot to ask..
    1. what's in the box? besides cable and pouch.. does it come with a mouse pad..? any batteries included? if yes, r they rechargeable? and if yes any chargers?
    2. does it run well in linux ubuntu? any software for linux ubuntu? (i only use mac at work.. personallu i'm a pc enthusiast..)
    3. (probably answered in the 1st question) when using rechargeable batteries, does it automatically recharges them when plugged into the pc via usb?
    thanx..
  • @ahtmly2k "personally"
  • @ahtmly2k answer to thee 3rd question, no.
  • terrific review..
    only i think that the 2 cons you pointed out could be forgiven..
    1. cable plug being quite a hassle to plug-in is okay as long as it's sturdy.. but it would be cool if they used magnets on that plug.. although it might not be as sturdy..
    2. the size being too small.. well i guess they did designed it to be portable.. so i like that..
    but anyways.. thanx 4 d great review.. i want one now.. lol.
  • Was gonna buy this but it was unavailable in the store so I got myself a Razer Naga :D
  • I want to get a mouse but I can't choose between this one and the Deathadder Respawn, this one is wireless but it seems a lot smaler compared to the DR.
    Is the DR better?
  • @Loudyest this mouse is more of a normal notebook use and the DR is more of a normal sized gaming mouse
  • does it have left and right scroll?
  • I love this mouse :D
    The wire thing realy doesnt take to long time, And my hands are tiny :3
  • @cryptoarbiter you know what they say about small hands small....... lol i have big hands and its hard to use the mouse but pretty good.
  • im new to this stuff so what is dpi?? sorry
  • @iowacityskater It just means how fast the mouse reads your response to the mouse, so if you have like 6500 DPI then that hella fast, so that would be good to buy. The higher the better for gaming.
  • @RaZeSniiPeR
    Not necceserily, but it also depends on if your playing FPS or RTS etc. DPI (Dots Per Inch - mouse moved) is directly related to how far the cursor will actually move (so your screen is size comes into consideration). 6500 DPI can be overkill in this case, but may have uses on screen resolutions exceeding 1280x ~ or if you want your cursor to move faster in some odd situation. Most gamers (even professional) can get by on 1800 DPI as a minimum 'maximum output' on their mouse.
  • @LiquidusTalon Thanks I thought I had somethings wrong, I was just trying to give the jist of it, nothing to specific. So maybe if you wrote that to him instead that would give a better idea of how it works? Not trying to be a jerk, thank you very much for the more in-depth information.
  • @RaZeSniiPeR For FPS such as CSS, the lower DPI the better imo. Huge gaming mat and away you go, far batter precision.
  • can u tell me how to take out the left battery... anyone pls help? Its like stuck!
  • @FiestaMagician Idk what to say, it should come out.
  • Can I turn the light which in the scroll wheel constantly ?
  • give it blutrack or dark field-like technology and ill consider it
  • it would be totally awesome if it would be wired without this wireless option
  • @hrabia99332 It comes with a cable that you can plug into the front of the mouse, its wired and wireless.
  • @KarlCast i know -.-
  • the left sides buttons are only for dpi switch???
    ca i change them for other stuff, i use those lefts side buttons for gaming... :)
  • @coloxoiturra Every button can be customized.
  • too small isnt it?
  • @luq080290 its ment for traveling, i.e a notebook gaming mouse. not ment for a pc set up. but one that you can carry around in a laptop bag ect. so no the size of this is perfect.
  • Do you need to have bluetooth or it comes with usb wireless receiver?
  • @Mr1911995 Gotta have bluetooth
  • @MamboPython Asking me thats the most retarded they have done.Not every laptop has bluetooth...
  • Nice review!
  • I also have the orochi. when wireless i cant get any conection from the mouse to the pc. do you know why? thanks for answers!!
  • @NeymarTheKing You need bluetooth , do you have it?
  • @NeymarTheKing does your pc have bluetooth? if it does you should have no problems maybe your wireless is faulty
  • left buttons aren't for the DPI, the right ones are
  • is it loud when you click?
    great review
  • does this work for pc
  • How do you turn on the light in the mouse????
  • @TheSahander
    if you bought the mouse new, it should come with a software (CD)
  • Thank you for this video. On the first few minutes I realize this is NOT the mouse for me because you said those 2 buttons (thumb side) they are DPI buttons. I wanted to customize them for other in game functions so, not the mouse for me. Thank you!
  • @TheErikus Actually he said they come default with dpi switching. You can set them though.
  • @TheErikus buddy he said those buttons are default to dpi switching. You can easily change them for other ingame functions.
  • no need for a $120 mamba. orochi iz kool
  • 9001 views. Such a great number for such an awesome mouse xD
  • Shall i buy it.. i'm New for PC?
  • @qotta1999 Definitely make sure you have gaming-intensive hardware like CoD or, in my case, Battlefield 2 and Starcraft 2. You will get respectable rates with a regular mouse but this mouse is for those who want to go the extra mile in gaming without blowing their wallets on a razer mamba. It also has the added bonus of awesome portability.
  • Can you take out the batteries for wired mode? How is the weight distribution/balance feel when you do?
  • Does anyone know if I need to become the administrator in order to use the mouse? I will buy a MacBook Pro soon, but in the meantime I will use my school tablet, and unfortunately I'm not the administrator. The school tablet uses Windows 7 and I don't think I can install the drivers and the software. If I am able to install the drivers, will it still work without the software?
    I know MacBook Pro is not design for gaming, but Razer FTW!
  • I think you have the exact same desk as me. It looks to be the same grain and everything. Thank you for the review and putting it up near the Magic Mouse for size comparison.
  • Epic review. It is small because its a mobile gaming mouse. It fits my hands perfectly, since I'm 12.
  • Magnets
  • there always has to be SOME asshole who dislikes it, great video man
  • there always has to be SOME asshole who dislikes it
  • Razer is for jews and chinamen with tiny penisses
  • @Benzinhead
    so what do the great white men use?
  • @AllstarHunE
    Logitech/Microsoft is for people who care about quality. Razer is for people who want an awesome looking product witch is totally overpriced and hyped.
  • @Benzinhead
    or ur just mad that u didnt buy a razer and want a distorted truth
  • @AllstarHunE
    I understand where your coming from but no, i own a logitech G9 and its a great mouse. I regurarly play games and do all my computer stuff since i got it december 2008 and its still as new!! No problems at all, the pads are still as new. The only thing is, i would love to have it wireless.
  • @Benzinhead
    XD
  • ahah first i was like thts a parrot not software hahaahah
  • hey bro will this be able to connect with ipad?
  • thanks for this review, will be buying this for my new notebook.
  • Great Review, I plan on purchasing this in the coming months!
  • Come on pick up that phone xD
  • My snake eat my mouse so i need a new one is this one recommendable for FPS games? Fast paced?
  • @SuperNLNova did your black mamba eat your mamba?
  • @psycold no it was an old HP mouse wich sucks a lot. So is it good for FPS or is a optical mouse better?
  • Comment removed
  • @xh0rsex I use a fingertip grip, and this is my favourite mouse. There's a few things you should know though. for $79, the build quality is questionable (it might just be my unit). It is extremely light if you play wired and take out the batteries (which is my preference), and you can also use the battery holder to put weights into the mouse. Also, the pointer moves a bit diagonally when you lift the mouse (I think this is due to the twineye sensor).
  • Oddly enough, the size is something you listed as a negative point, whereas it is the key thing about it that intrigues me. I have a Razer Imperator, and although it is a good mouse, it's too big for my hand, at least for how I use a mouse (fingertip grip)
  • 2:15 What about a sub-atomic explosion outside my house? Do you think that will cause the laser sensor to pick-up?
