  • when the video played 1:20... i was...lag awhile( Ouh Owwwwh~~~) it stuck on the middle...

  • you want offroad take an FJ cruiser

  • I'm in love.

  • SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY!!

  • Touareg V6 TDI fucks him totally. air suspersion, blockable differentials, low gear and GOD DAMMIT AWESOME POWER

  • i don't think regular evoque drivers are going to do this

  • India & China will be slaves for cheap labor for another century!

  • just to prove to you, the Indians make better cars than the British.

  • @MetaView7 made in britain only owned by tata, so its still all british my friend

  • it's like total whipe out but only for rangerovers

  • Meu proximo brinquedinho...

  • its like england made a cross between the range rover sport and a aston martin. looks good guys.

  • WOW it can PARALLEL PARK! Ahhmazing!

  • Imagine if you were chased by a bear in the woods, going over those ramps at that pathetic speed = death!

I still think Jeeps will fare better in true offroad conditions!

  • This car looks amazing, the test on the silly uneven mat looks daft, You should be testing it on rocks/mud slopes.

  • @MrSilverfox333

Its ugly as fuck. And why is the rear window so small? You can't see anything out of it.

  • @filmftw3 To make a car look good, the rear window has to be small, it will have to sacrifice its utility for aesthetics. Look at any coupes and sport car, rear windows are almost none functional on them.

  • @filmftw3 Jealous! Are we? It's an awesome motor.

  • its like offroad GT-R...I LIKE!!

  • For the market it's aimed at - it's more than functionally capable.

    It's good looking too.

  • Trouble is, you need to buy two, one for each foot. Why buy this when you could buy the Sport, you can fit the dead body in the back & do some real off roading as well!

  • This looks good, but it's a bit stubby to me. SUVs are meant to be longer and have larger windows. It just looks like an MPV.

  • i hate the design . Yuck !!!!

  • victoria beckham being part of developing this car says it all really, its exclusive rich mans suv. it's more of a fashion statement than anything, which is a shame cause in my eyes its a good car driven by the wrong people.

  • Its just a Freelander with a roof chop.

  • Is it a sports vehicle?

  • I liked the two wheels in the air status ^_^

  • 1:20 nice balancing act! XD.

  • look like ford explorer...

  • it looks really nice but unfortunately like most rangies its just rich mums shopping trolley!!! going bush? give me a landcruiser!!!!

  • @MrNipsi I think that the Landcruiser is a totally different vehicle than the Evoque, but I think that the Defender would give the Landcruiser a run for it's money, after all, the Landcruiser is an imitator and not an originator! Where do you think that Toyota came up with the 'Landcruiser' name in the first place???!!! Sounds very Much like Land Rover?

  • @MrNipsi haha yes so true if you want to go anywhere near the dunes/mud/mountains pick a good old 'cruiser!

  • Rat tuyet..

  • @NeoTranshuman Zero actually, maybe an inch tops

  • looks nice until you try it on a trail. it seriously looks exactly like the kind of car you would not want to drive off road. it doesn't have great clearance, no axle articulation, ect.

  • @117nathanmyers actually it does perform pretty well off-road

  • @117nathanmyers it's etc, Latin for et cetera, meaning 'and so on' and not ect as you have incorrectly put! Anyway, these Land Rover Evoque's are not designed to be a full on, heavy duty off-roader as say a Defender, but more of a compromise between an on-roader and a 4 wheel drive off roader! It looks great and will probably be a great success for Land Rover!

  • No axle articulation works fine in that type of surface, I'm not that sure if mud, snow or grass it works so well.... Less wheels on the ground, less traction. But you cant get everything, or you have a good on road car or a good offroad car.

  • @spinixDH is axle articulation the same as the dif-lock system ?

  • @mopster95 No, you can have both. The basic Dif-lock system locks the deferential and makes both wheels spin at the same time, preventing the wheel that's in the air from spining and the wheel that's in the ground of not spining. Adanced dif-lock systems stop the wheel that's in the air, and drive all the power to the wheel that's in the ground. The ideal solution for offroad is axel articulation and dif-lock but is a very bad setup for driving onroad. So they try to get the best setup

  • @mopster95 And a proper range rover has both.... But this is a sport version meaning the it's got to be good on road, and the best they can in off-road

  • @mopster95 Look at this evoque struggling to get traction on the ground in mud.

With a good articulation it's very easy. watch?v=pNjzPe8W-z0

  • @spinixDH that's so awesome ! thanks for explaning to me, really appreciate it.

  • @mopster95 And this is a good axel articulation watch?v=-s9cGSZApiI& wich I did not explain before.

  • concept RANGE STORMER is alive :)

  • Best car I have ever seen in my entire life

  • @TheChills100 you forgot Cayenne (let's say I forgive you)

  • short suspension travel, lol. the chassis is for a sedan, come on

  • Now thats what you call traction control.

  • I went to a casino with some buddies last night and this thing was on display to be won... i spent a lot of money on racing little plastic horses against strangers that night. after watching this video i feel it was money well wasted :(

  • my defender PROPER LAND ROVER would piss this

  • 1:03, that would be terrifying

  • whats the price of this baby

  • I'm Getting 1!

  • would you recommend that i put them on now....winter is almost here....i was thinking about going to a used tire store today to get the winter...

  • @MakeLoveNoBabiez Depends where you live. I live in Ontario, Canada and its time for winters to be on vehicles we have already had snow storms in some areas.

  • @NutStretcher....i live in chicago currently....this would be my second winter here...moved from Ghana but stayed in California for 5 yrs so i have no snow driving skills whatsoever....

  • @MakeLoveNoBabiez Get them on your car asap. You have already gone through a winter just remember to increase your stopping distance, slow down before the turn, take your time, let the agressive drivers pass you soon you will see them in the ditch. I drive a 4wd SUV and yes I can take off from a stop faster then other cars in snow but I stop just as quick on slippery surfaces. Another thing I do is practice your skills in a empty parking lot.

  • Expensive explorer is what I see...........

  • @NutStretcher.....lmao.....i see what u see...has similiar design queues but probably far apart when it comes to technology and capability..

  • @MakeLoveNoBabiez No doubt. But a foot on the brake pedal while the other is on the gas can be just as effective to simulate a limited slip diff.

  • @NutStretcher....Thanks 4 the tip...i'm a broke college student and i drive a 1997 sentra...fantastic on gas but i'm scared to drive that thing in snow.....horrible suspension and no abs brakes so i'll give your BOOTLEG all natural limited slip diff tip as test this winter...

  • @MakeLoveNoBabiez Actually I find vehicles with no ABS better on slippery surfaces because ABS overrides the brakes to much especially on ice causing further stopping distances. Get snow tires and drive to the road conditions and take your time and will do fine. A set of snow tires for your car would be about $400, its worth it!

  • best gay`s car of 2012

  • @NeoTranshuman ill take my stock cherokee xj with factory solid axles and open diffs over that thing any day

  • bah 4oooo euro?????? quante cose ci faccio con 40ooo euro.... 10 anni di ferie mi campro una panda climbing una moto una bici il cane per la figlia ....... beh non posso fare il fico pero.....hihih

  • best looking car in the world for me

  • Best looking car theyve ever made, now hopefully the new Range Rover will look this good too!

  • That is THE most disgusting SUV crossover thing ive ever seen, I'd even go as far to say its just as ugly as that HIDEOUS Nissan thing...

  • @MrRavewolf clearly, you have no taste for art

  • Definitely has the looks but not close to a land rover such as a defender or a discovery.

  • @kalon360 tested one yesterday. "not close" to a defender because it's not meant to be one. it is much smaller than a sport hse and it is meant to be more of a city car that can do 90% of what a defender does while looking preety. very, very nice car.

  • @kalon360 - pity all the professional press disagrees with you... it apparently perfoms very well off-road

  • Poor video quality :-(

  • See more about this incredible car on RangeRoverEvoque.nu

  • that chassi is beastly!

  • Nossa um dessa pra mim seria otimo.

Aqui tem um monte de mato, mandava as mina entrar no carro, e tacava o carro no mato pronto,ta feito o DRIVE-IN de luxo xD.

Que massa em pena que so pobre hehe.

  • Thats a sexy looking ve-hickle. DO WANT!!!

  • but will it blend?

  • It looks better in the 5 door version. And who really cares it's like a Hyunday, basicaly almost all cars theese days are made after other cars from theese days. If the Company knows it's a design that it will sell, then who are you to tell otherwise, because you're not workin at Range Rover, or Volkswagen or etcetera. Just my opinion, not in the mood to argue...

  • One of the most beautiful Range Rovers ever made!!

  • LOOKS EXACTLY LIKE A HYUNDAY OR A FORD SHIT EXPLORER!!

  • @DAN71riller - recommend visit to an optician.

  • tha majority of his concurent can do that --'

  • Woow.. Maybe an INCH of suspession travel, BRILLIAN for an off road with this reputation as the defender had...... They just destroy the Image of the classic defender. Old defenders are a million times more capable than this Hyunday looking crap.

  • @saturbo1107 get a life

  • @saturbo1107

defender and range rover are 2 completely different things. it is like saying the cayenne is the same as the carrera.....they dont compare

  • @saturbo1107 Well with the money you save buying a "classic" defender maybe you should look into buying a dictionary or spellchecker.

  • @saturbo1107 No matter what, Land Rover have a car for all tastes. Whether you like it or not, just watch the other car makers try to copy. This Evoque has opened up another segment in all terrain vehicles and has no peer today. Don't compare this to a defender, that is just being stupid. I will buy one for the missus. And don't think about calling me gay or I'll slap you. PS. I already have a Discovery and guess what else? A Defender.
