That's awesome! Was it hard to train your Borzoi to pull? Did you Start with bikes/carts then go to sled? I would really like to teach my borzoi to pull. I know nothing about pulling though. Any advice would be great.

Dear Friend!

it's better to start with bike [ about 2km/time by slow / fast pitch half&half]

,and goes to cart and sled.

early start before 1-years old , is not good!

and the best way to teach borzoi to pull is,,

just show him how other dogs are pulling .

than he will learn it by himself so fast. it's true.

Congratulations! Fantastic video.

why does it have to be this way? you know all wolves are really loyal and nice deep down, it's juss that, well they eat only meat and some rather eat cows, pgs etc. but is that not wat we do too? cows and pigs etc. are there for meat eaters to eat. and we r ominivoers so why don't people be nicer to the wolf?

Great "video". The Borzoi look like they are having a blast! A friend of mine is training two of her Borzoi for Skjorning (sp?). It is great to see that Borzoi can excell in yet another venue. I laugh when OB judges say they are hard to train. The *secret* of course is to make whatever you are doing fun-and these Borzoi are very obviously having fun.

I got my first borzoi when I was 8 years old. Love borzois. That is funny to imagine borzois as huskies working, - they are too independent and willful. I like it in them.
